Messy manicures all around for my girlfriends and I.  I had cut my nails right before coming and they didn't even file them to smooth them over.  I had eyeliner left on one of my nails and they just painted over it.  Ridiculous.  Cuticles left on every finger.  I would give the benefit of the doubt but my friends had the same issues!They do give you a free water though and chair massagers were pretty good.Not coming back. In love with this place. I wandered into this nail salon and came out super satisfied. Stephanie has attended me both times I've visit and is very nice along with all the other ladies. They attend to you quickly and I haven't had to wait long. The place is beautiful and the environment is mellow. Their work is amazing and the price is better. Definitely my official go to spot. I was recommended to come to this nail salon and to request Kelly. I gotta say she killed it! I'm the happiest I have ever been with my nails. I told her what I wanted and she nailed it, not once did I have to ask to fix anything. On top of that her customer service is excellent. Am writing this review as am getting my nails finished.I have been to a few different OC Nail Salons to get my nails done but when it comes to my pedicures am really picky since I tend to look for places that have there chairs sanitize and there equipment.My first impression in walking in that it was full but I had made an appointment 2 hrs prior coming in, on the phone the lady told me they were busy & it's understanding it's Saturday.I had to wait maybe like 5 minutes to get seated.When sitting down they gave me the list of pedicures they give.My nails lady was Tina, and I had told Tina that I had in grown nail and she took her time to take out both from both feet even though I said one.Am thankful for her checking & yes I bled, & it hurt but she made me feel comfortable by massaging my poor toes & asking me if I was okay.Overall, am thankful & happy with the service & work. Ahhh :)! I think I finally found my favorite spot if service continues to be as good. First let me tell You my past few years nails/toes story ;). I had a lady who was doing my nails few years back for almost 4 years. I adored Her and She was best ever. I unfortunately moved out of the area and now driving about an hour to get the nails done sometimes with our busy lives seems kinda heavy on the heart. So I started looking someone around. I have been, not to lie You, to over 7 or 8 places in the area from cheaper ones to luxury ones which by far was the worst :/. I almost gave up. I am very picky with my nails and I always expect that from the those poor ladies putting Their heart out haha but I alway tell it in a nice way ;) I am not picky rude kinda girl ;). When I found LUSH salon on Google by accident btw. I use amazing shampoo bars from brand called LUSH and I guess that salon was just meant to be mine haha. I contacted Kelly on Yelp and She was super nice and fast with responding to my ten thousand messages ;). I set up the appointment. First thing I noticed it was how clean the place is! I think it's even cleaner than 90% of luxury called places in OC area. All the ladies wear matching pink aprons, in the radio plays calm music in English (yup You know what I mean, some of those places play slow foreign Asian language music which can drive some humans like me crazy because I simply don't understand the lyrics heh :/ ). But overall veeery relaxing feel to the place. It wasn't busy or overpacked on the beginning, it came lots of ladies afterwards but even then I have not felt like rushed or anything. My manicure with SNS was incredible! Last salon I went twice gave me lots of pain when peeling the artificial nails, cutting cuticles and using primer. And when I said it hurts they said "it has to sometimes". Eee nope, I am having my nails done for ages and if someone is telling You that, they are lying to You. Getting nails done should NOT hurt AT ALL. So in LUSH I was sometimes looking at Her because I haven't felt a thing!!! :) She was sooo extremely gentle and focused and artistic it make my heart melt. Even when I pointed out that I wanted Her to fix something She did it even better than I asked. I am very pleased. I wish I remembered Her name hhmm Helen? Hanna? My pedicure was fantastic, I think it was Layla if I am not mistaken. She was sweetheart too. She clean my toes in super details and did a beautiful job. Only thing I could point it here that She could remove calluses a little more and massage stronger ;))) but that's an easy fix on next appointment. Oh and They both speak good English so no problems with communication either. I am very happy and I hope They will continue to do such an awesome job. Because I had happened when I went to salon where first time was awesome and afterwards boom no magic anymore.So bravo to an owner for all the hard work with the salon and thank You all see You in a few weeks! :) P.S. Lush nails is great. I've had gel, dipping powder and manicure/pedicures done there. The girls are professional. You are greeted with a cold bottle of water. They are a bit more expensive than other salons I've been to. But I find that it's worth it. I get my nails done with dipping powder. It gives you the hard nails but without fake tips. I expected more because of the reviews.. but honestly it just wasn't a good experience. The only pros I found in today's visit was being seated quickly. Other than that- nothing. My friend and I have been wanting to get our nails done together and we kept trying different places, but most of the other nail salons were fully booked or just too busy to take us in right away (we had to work later on so time was an issue). Anyways, we stumbled across this place and we were intrigued because it didn't seem that busy (we should've known better). We liked the fact that we got seated asap, but that was that only good thing about the visit. The ladies who did our nails weren't all that rude but they didn't inform us of costs. The lady who was doing my toes didn't even show me the brochure with the different prices for pedicures. My friend and I both thought that our services would have been $65 the most. We both received full set acrylics w/ gel and a gel pedi. To our surprise the total for both of us was $75 without tip. I'm all for "paying for good quality", but the truth is that the quality was eh. I didn't love my nails but I didn't mind them. Would I return to lush? No thanks! I could get better service and more quality else where for way less. That's not all.. the lady who was doing my toes cut me and she didn't even say anything. It was like she tried covering it up. I felt the burn from the alcohol she put on. I could've gotten a full set with gel,chrome, and rhinestones for $45 elsewhere.. here I got a busted toe nail, basic acrylics and just an overall unpleasant experience for the grand total of $75. Another thing! This place gives you a cold water bottle which is a pro! BUT I've been to other places who offer free water,tea and even candy/cookies! Still don't understand why this place is pricy! First visit today. Came in on a last minute basis and after searching nearby Yelp reviews, this place was able to fit me in even though it was near closing time for them. I had a fill done and showed them a picture of what color I was aiming for. Kelly started off with the previous gel color removal, then Stephanie took over (I hope I'm remembering her name correctly). She did an excellent job and wasn't pushy on what color she thought would "look better," which I'm used to hearing at other salons. She let me choose and be comfortable with my decision for the color. This was my very first time getting a dark color on my acrylics other than nude or pink and white. As she applied the purple color, I was still skeptical about it until the matte coat was applied. I fell in love with it!! I've also never tried the matte coat trend and I'm glad I did. It made the color look completely different and ended up looking like the picture I showed them to begin with. The prices were typical and affordable. I will definitely be returning to this location! I love it here!! Kelly is amazing. She works pretty fast and still pays so much attention to detail and does a great job. You can tell she takes pride in what she does and wants nothing but the best for her clients. And it's not over priced at all!!!
