So so disappointed i had jj to do my nails before no problem s he was away on holiday but I booked thinking would still be up to standard I had booked in for infills all done within 30 mins ...loads of people waiting obviously overbooked on going home nail had peeled off went back redone ok but next day 2 more nails had started to repeel went back for third time ...so how much this cost me now ... £25 infills plus having to come back twice and pay for parking nails still not right .... never ever again I’m gonna have to pay again to take nails off such a mess Read Less

My daughter had a full set of nails done with of her Christmas money. A day later a nail came so went and they fixed one and another that was starting to come off, then 3 days later they all started to come off.. absolute joke. Read Less

This is our new favorite place! I had torn my nail and Lin (sp?) fixed it quickly and so good that I can't even tell it was torn! Service was fast, my manicure was awesome and I got to watch Netflix while I was waiting for the polish to dry, the prices are amazing! Don't bother coming in if you don't have an appointment. They really are not Walk in friendly, asking a client to come back in 1.5 hours as a walk in isn't great service. No help to make appointment or anything. It was a too bad so sad situation. Since It's within walking distance I wanted to try them out again before a last minute trip to Hong Kong. This isn't my normal place but it might be now! My fiancé and I were in the area and decided to try it out, we were very impressed. The place was RELAXING - quiet music, cozy chairs, and even though there were several other customers, it was spacious. The girl who did my nails did an AMAZING job and the deluxe pedicure was so calming I almost fell asleep. I highly recommend coming here. Read Less

I went in today to get a full set acrylics. I'm not from Newquay so wasn't sure what to expect. I can honestly say that this is the best place I have been to get my nails done! JJ did my nails, he was so chatty and friendly such a nice guy to talk to. Andy and JJ make sure you walk out with the best nails possible! This was my first time here and here is how it went down:I had an appointment at 4:30 , but arrived at 4:00 pm but they were prompt to sit me down (which made me happy lol) then they get me started on my gel pedicure and full set acrylic nails . The guy who did my nails was constantly having to stop to answer the phone , which I wouldn't have mind but this distracted him from doing a good job on one of my nails which is lifted up (see picture) so yeeeah I didn't really enjoy that. Maybe they should hire a receptionist to answer calls or something but not be taking calls and having to stop while with a client. Overall it was okay. I think I will be sticking with my previous nail salons.Price for gel pedi & full acrylic set with gel $62. So it's not expensive but hey you get what you pay for . Read Less

Been here three times now and I adore this place. Very friendly and very clean. I do recommend calling ahead to schedule an appointment and/or check for availability. I often call around noon for an appointment around 5 without an issue.The couple that own the place are a lot of fun with great senses of humor. They like to fight over which of them does a better job on my nails. They both do an amazing job. I get acrylics with gel polish and they don't look like halved almonds glued to the top of my fingers.They do speak in Vietnamese so if that bothers you GTFO. Read Less

I found this place entirely by luck and it feels like a hidden gem. But I suspect it won't be for long because word of mouth travels fast.Quick highlight of some of the great things about Golden Nail Bar:There is ample parking in this shopping center.The interior is beautiful and clean.The staff are friendly, skilled, and attentive.The pedicure basins are lined with a new plastic liner for every customer.Their equipment is organized and properly sterilized.I did the luxury pedicure and it was worth every penny. It was $40 plus an extra $10 for the gel color. My pedicurist was Cindy and she did an amazing job. She was thorough during the actual pedicure. She was also attentive and always asked if the temperature of the water or heated lotion was acceptable, and whether the pressure of the foot massage was comfortable. She was friendly and struck up conversation with me but also allowed me to relax and enjoy the experience.Tip:Call ahead and make an appointment, even if you're coming in 30mins-1 hr. Absolutely love this nail salon. I made an apt. And when I walked in I was seated and worked on right away. She took her time and really made sure my nails were done perfectly. She would double check all my nails after each time she went over them and would make sure they were up to mine and her standards. I would recommend this place to anyone! Wow! What a gem. Hidden behind Ruby's Diner on the corner of Newport and Irvine Blvd.  Incredibly clean and well managed nail salon. Sweet people that work here. My personal favorite is Scott. He is a nail genius! My gel manicures last over two weeks. He's very meticulous and listens to exactly what I want. You won't be disappointed with Golden Nail.Lots of parking. My sister and I were in the area and were so stoked to find Golden Nail Bar.Gel Pedicures are $27 and they were great for such a good price.The service here was great and they were really good about accommodating their guests. This morning, I decided to come in here based upon the yelp reviews. I haven't found a nail place yet that I feel like I would be a repeat customer...until now.Lynn & everyone were so nice. They paid attention to detail & really took their time to get to know me & what I wanted...since I really had no idea. I let Lynn surprise me with a design & it came out beautifully! The place is new, calm, beautifully decorated, with great music & Netflix on. The spa chairs were comfortable, of course.
