New to the local area, I was looking for a reputable salon that can accommodate my immediate need for hair roots color retouch and haircut. Attracted by its high scores on Yelp and good reviews, I contacted the salon asking for their next earliest availability within 24 hours given my need for immediate attention and hair service for an upcoming weekend event. The person who first answered the phone asked for my contact information so that Amber could contact me back about options. Amber called me back and she was very pleasant and accommodating to schedule me for the following morning. The salon was in a good location off of Geer Road. It was clean and very inviting, as well as spacious. They offer fresh Keurig coffee, chocolates and pastries as you wait. My appointment was at 11am. I had to wait a little bit, but given that I was scheduled less than a day ago, the wait was understandable since Amber was juggling various clients. I was thankful that she was able to squeeze me in given the short notice. The color and hair cut service went on smoothly. It was finished within a little over an hour. The following day, while getting ready for my event, I noticed that my roots was not completely covered with the roots touch up. There were some loose hair strands that needed more color saturation. So after a couple days, I personally checked back in with Amber to explain what I noticed and once again, she was very understanding and accommodating of my concerns. She said that her salon guarantees their work. She looked closely at my hair roots problems and her color records/notes and determined that given my hair texture that she needed to do a color shift so I could get more color and more time to get the color job done right. She easily scheduled me within 2 days to re-do the work at no extra charge. Since this was the first time she worked on my hair, I understood that she was still getting to know my hair as a professional stylist. The second time around, I was very satisfied with the color results.  Amber remained friendly and reassured me that they guarantee their work. I left the salon feeling satisfied. I have been following Amber for about 10 years. I cannot imagine having anyone else touch my hair. My hair is curly and can be difficult to manage without a great cut. Amber is amazing. She does a fantastic job cutting and coloring my hair. She always offers suggestions and takes pride in her work. The salon is clean and organized. Everyone is very friendly. Came in for a much needed cut and color.  The lady that answered the phone recommended Marci per her availability.  I was very satisfied with the service and work product.  Marci was swift, professional and on point.  I showed her a picture of my hair 2 months back, she took a look at the color and matched it perfectly.  I loved the color and the cut both. Found this place on Yelp when I decided to try to go from my wild teal hair back to normal. I was nervous and half expecting the stylists to tell me I would have to wait till it faded more but Amber was able to  do it that day! The process was a little long but it was because she was taking the time to make sure the treatment wouldn't overly damage my hair which was pretty brittle. After we were able to strip the color because of the treatment she gave me we only had to do a small trim instead of cutting a few inches which is what I thought had to be done. Going above and beyond she even had me come the next week just to do a touch up on my natural color so the color remained even and surprisingly my curls since I have naturally curly hair are still as curly as ever. I am very happy I found this place and although I won't be doing any other crazy colors anytime soon I know where to go for all my hair needs now. Read Less

Followed my Stylist Haideh when she moved to Tanglez. I am impressed with the atmosphere and service. Everyone seems very happy to be there and you don't get the catty vibe or hear gossip that you do waiting in other salons. Always very accommodating for early appointments. I went to Tangelz, for the first time, this month.....and I'm hooked! I got a fantastic cut, color and blow-out. Finally, a stylist who KNOWS what they're doing! I needed to get my eyebrows done, and I had to use yelp to find a good place. But do not go here to get your eyebrows waxed! They messed mine up. The took off too much from the inside of my brows. I ended up filling them in Slightly more. I think I would've rather gone to an Asian spot. Read Less

Went in today and didn't get what I wanted because they let me know my hair was very damaged and that it would be better if I took care of it! I agreed with them100% and appreciated that they told me the truth and didn't just damage it more to make more money ! I got layers and a v cut and my hair already feels great.!!! Perfect customer service, great rates, and very accommodating.  Came here with a bridal party and everyone looked fantastic.  Alisha did my hair and I got many many compliments on it.  All the girls looked fantastic.  For someone who comes to many Turlock weddings it's good to know I have a go to place.
