Horrible place! My wife came to get her nails done and the place was horrible! The guy who was doing her nails cut her finger and didnt let her go wash her hands, then went on to keep doing her nails with the items touching the blood on her fingers as if its nothing! Thats extremely unsanitary! Not to mention he didnt even put the colors she wanted and said "oh its too late now". Horrible place and horrible customer service skills! After they finished her nails they went on to do another persons nails and didnt bother sanitizing any of the equipment that had gotten blood on it! Never come to this horrible place! Read Less

I have been going to Bridgend Nails for years, Dave and Lisa and all staff are lovely and always welcoming. They always manage to fit you in even if you haven't an appointment, may have to wait a little but it's definately worth it. Everytime I have gone in I'm always offered tea/coffee. Well I’m not sure what the people were expecting who have left negative feedback on here?! Had my nails done today and they are absolutely gorgeous and they did an amazing job.. DONT GO HERE ITS AWFUL AND OVER PRICED FOR POOR SERVICE AND IT WILL DEFINITELY CAUSE YOU PHYSICAL PAIN LATER ON. My step mom owns a nail salon in my home town, normally I go there but I wasn’t going to be home for a while so I took a chance on Jennifer nails. the man who worked on me did not know how to use the file properly and completely destroyed my natural nails. I asked for a stiletto shape (pointy) and what any good nail artist will do is file the shape. He cut the shape with nail clippers from a box labeled “SOILED” and then filed it. He chipped 3 nails in the process. He also bent my thumb back so far it felt like it would sprain. The finished product left 6/10 nails leaning to the right, my cuticles were torn up and the weren’t filled to the start of the nail. Also he used alcohol based products that burned the skin. I should have realized something was terribly wrong when I left the salon with pain in my finger tips.To make matters worse, because he filed my natural nails so thin and used way too much nail glue when the nails started coming off half of my natural nail come off with it. Now I am in pain and have hardly any natural nail left. ALSO every person graduated from the same cosmetology school from what I saw on their certificates on the wall and if that isn’t sketchy I don’t know what is. Do yourself a favor and only go to salons with trusted individual cosmetologists who rent their own space and use their own individually purchased products. Chain salons are not worth it!!!! Will never go here again! Came with 2 friends and weren't paid attention to! Yes they did our pedicure, acrylic fill, and manicure, but rarely looked at what they were doing! Went in for infills today and the lady who started doing my nails had to ask every two minutes what I wanted even though I’d asked for infills when I walked in, and sat down for her to do my nails. She filed into my cuticle bed which made a cut and didn’t apologise Another customer walked in, the lady doing my nails hadn’t finished taking the gel I had before off, she stood up and said ‘it won’t be long one second’ and proceeded to start the other customers pedicure. I was sa...t there for 10 minutes before someone else started on my nails again. The lady who started doing my nails again was constantly on her phone, and wasn’t interested at all. She then filed my nails ready for the gel but kept filing straight into the cut the previously lady had made, it was very painful. The gel polish is all over my nail bed and the nails are all different sizes and shapes. I was then over charged but literally just wanted to leave as It was such a bad experience. I got a pedi and mani today. I loved loved my pedi by the sweet elder lady. She's sweet and quiet but did an amazing job. She actually massaged my feet and took her time. Also Dayana did my mani and shellac. She's so young and sweet as well. I paid $62 for everything and tip both women $4 each. I will definitely be coming back. Read Less

The first time I came here I LOVED it. They took their time and I actually felt like my satisfaction mattered. I had a naturally long, oval, gel French tip nails. I wish I had a picture but I never loved my nails that much. However, on this time I come I tried to switch it up and I felt like my five year old cousin did my nails. I thought I was being a little extra so I called a friend and showed her and she even said it was bad especially because I was charged 28$. I'm super unhappy and I feel like I been robbed. My perfect shape is gone and was replaced with uneven lopsided nails, the paint is over my nail and then some, my cuticles looks like they been stabbed and torn. As I was paying (when I really shouldn't have) I asked a lady in front of me if her nail tech did a good job.. which she did and the lady said "yeah something about the nail tech you had " as she was shaking her head. I left and then I went back in and told them I was unhappy the nail tech said "what you want me to do" they took the drill and went around my cuticle removing some of the extra polish as they dig into my cuticle yet again... I asked a lady who was waiting if I was tripping about the whole situation and she looked at my nails and said "not at all" and then showed me how her nail cuticle was ripped. I really don't like being "that person" and complaining about service but this was just not cool. I guess it depends on the person you have. But good luck! Read Less

Diana who did my pedicure was great. Jennifer wasn't. She did my fill and pushed so hard to on my nail she went through the acrylic. And then said my old nail needed to be replaced. THEN SHE Argued with me about my nails when I let her know I wasn't happy and that she was the one who did that. (Pulled my real nail away from the acrylic). Then she did the fill and did it again to another nail. She said she doesn't do thick nails. But my nails are thick with dents in them. Shame on me for typing some where new. Read Less

I have been going to Jennifer and Kevin for years and have been very happy. I always get the #3 pedicure and have acrylics with gel polish. I go in every 3 weeks and have never had a nail lift or come off. I would recommend making an appointment as they can get busy. You may still wait a bit even if you make an appointment, but you will be made a priority over a walk in. Read Less

DON'T go here for acrylics!! I got a pedicure here last week and I was happy with how my toenails came out so last night I decided to go there to get my nails filled.... It was the worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon. First, I called in ahead of time to see when I could be seen and I was told by the older gentleman (the same one who did my nails) that I could be seen at 5:45. Ok, no problem. So when I got there a few minutes before 5:45 it wasn't until an HOUR later that he actually sat me down to work on my nails. Right from the start I could tell he was trying to rush everything to get through the number of people who were waiting to be seen after me. While he was shaping my nails with the nail board he filed down so much and so hard on the side of my nails and into my nail bed that he hurt me multiple times and he did it repeatedly on some of the same nails after me telling him it hurts. Finally after he was done shaping them so callously, he went to get the polish that I had picked out and came back saying they didn't have the one I wanted but he brought over the polish that was next to it on the display boards saying it was similar to the one I picked and he could do that one....it was nothing like what I had originally picked so I went with a different color all together. Then he started painting my nails...more like slabbed on the nail polish. He was rushing so much to get the polish on that he got it all over my skin on the sides of every single nail. He didn't paint down to the base of the acrylics. I had to tell him to fix the line of the base of my thumbnail right before he put the clear coat on it. It was so clearly uneven and messed up that I thought for sure he was going to fix it with another coat before putting the clear coat on...nope, not until I said something. Then, AFTER applying the polish and top coat he filed the sides of some of my nails even more. What??! Overall I was just so tired and hugely disappointed with the very little attention to detail and care that he put into working on my nails that I just wanted to be done and get out of there. After examining my nails further after I left I just couldn't believe how bad of a job it was. Uneven nail beds, polish all over the sides on my skin, and not even enough polish on the base of the nails itself that it looks like they've been grown out for a week already. I decided to try out a new nail salon in turlock and I was not let down! My nails were in serious need of some TLC and that's exactly what I got when I came to Jennifer's Nail Salon! (See before & after photos!) I was taken care of my a gentleman who took his time and listened to exactly what I wanted. I am a college student and do a lot of typing on my laptop and computers and needed my nails to be short and manageable. (I got them in "Ferrari Red" for my graduation photos which are tomorrow, also!) The salon was clean and sanitary and the staff was very friendly. I had a very awful experience there with Kevin. Kevin did a poor job on my acrylic nails and while he was doing my nails he kept answering the phone. I noticed cracks in my nails and told him about it he said maybe you hit it -_- my hands stayed on the table the whole time. Then sure enough on almost all my other nails cracks and cracks. Where do I start? This is their new location and I am extremely pleased to have been able to find someone who can do my nails the way they do my nails. They are very trendy and they pay close attention to the details and are extremely efficient and probably the most friendliest place I have ever been to and let me tell you I have been doing my nails for 25 years now. This is by far hands down the best place I have ever been to. They have really pretty pedicure stations and they even have a couple of pedicure stations for your young ones too...they are darling you should see them.  If you are new to the area and need a great permanent nail salon well this is your place try them out you will love it...like I do!!.  Jennifer and Kevin... you two are amazing!! I needed a fill pretty badly and was on a time restraint and prior 3 places I went to had long wait times but as luck would have it I drove by this place and only one person getting getting a pedi so I decided to stop.  Big mistake, staff is very friendly for sure but the quality is terrible. Some of my nails are thin, some are round and thick,  some are square but don't match the other hand, the nail polish isn't all the way to the top of the nail or to the sides...Some parts are white and I got black nail polish. My total 25 dollars with standard 5 dollar tip it came out to be 30.50 cuz they tackle on a credit/debit card fee.  Most definately get why they were completely dead. Bridgend Nails is great. The staff are brilliant, they are friendly and knowledgeable and explain anything you are not sure about, and as well as that they do do an awesome job on your nails too.
