this place is full of $#!&. They have one price up on the board and then charged me a completely different price. And when I lodged a dispute verbally, the entire staff started yelling toward me and arguing and causing a fuss. I do not recommend this place. I have been here a couple times.... for the most part they really make me feel like it's so inconvenient for them to give me service ...  today I went for a color change and it was like the world was coming to a end ... So rude.  Don't recommend this place.  Owner refused to do my 2 year olds nails even though she has got them done regularly with me in other salons.  If I'm willing to pay why should it matter if she messes them up?  She wanted to get them done with her older sisters,  she was so sad.  Definitely not kid friendly!! The WORST service. Kenny did my nails & he was so rude to me I asked him to make my nails shorter because I work in a doctors office & he said he had already did & Again i asked for them to be shorter & he barely cut them . Then He even said he doesn't know why I need them shorter bc he had already been doing my nails for 2 hours when in total I was there 1hr. After that he was Throwing shellac boxes on the counter i was sitting at & before I could even get out of my chair to pay he already had his car keys in his hand ready to walk out the door. I did not get my nails done here.  However, I made an appointment for 12:30 for two mani/pedis and when I got there, all of the waiting chairs were FULL. One of the gals sitting with her color in hand had already been waiting 15 minutes.  I looked at the pedi chairs and it did not seem like we would be getting any services for at least an hour.  Time is precious, if you don't have time, say you don't have time.  Or set another time to come in. The lady Who helped me was rude and when I made it very clear I just wanted a fill and didn't want to take my nails off she still insisted on pulling my nails off not soaking them but pulling them off she even had one of my nails bleeding I couldn't take the torture and asked if she could please stop and just drill them down she said no it would take to long after that I walked out. Long wait with only 2 men working on nails and eventually 5 or 6 people doing pedicures. There were 4 of us, 3 of which were wanting pedicures and 1 of us wanting shellac on their nails. The one waiting for her nails to be done waited an hour, then when she tried to explain what she wanted was kind of blown off. They turned out ok, but customer service needs to be worked on, badly. I got the matte black coffin shaped nails, wanted a halloween vibe to my nails and Tom did a really good job with them. he took his time and actually understood what i wanted. i've gotten pedicures here many times but For a generic nail salon to do acrylics like this i'm very satisfied :) Read Less

I've been going for years and have always had ok service but this last time was the last straw. I go to relax and enjoy the massage chairs but the chair was stuck on lower back so u asked if I could change chairs because it was hurting my back I was told very rudely that it was my fault because I had pushed to many buttons! This place is just crazy. First they have a little boy running throuh the shop and trying to sit on customers laps second its not very clean and third they lie if they dont have time to do something u r asking for for instance i asked for rhinestones but all of a sudden they dont have it when a lady just got it so rude. I had came in the day before to get a pedicure and accidentally messed up the polish on my big toes. Went back in the next afternoon to see if they could fix them and neither I or them could find the color we used. They all look puzzled and confused and very rudely started to yell if I was sure I even went in there (pretty sure I would know what place I went to) in the first place and that they didn't have my color. They also kept asking about my manicure color which was not even my concern because I did not get it done there. Will not come back as to both times customer service was pretty rude. Read Less

Since my nail lady moved out of town, I've been out trying to find the next best thing out there. I literally have gone to all the nail shops in Modesto and was working towards Turlock. I've tried other places in Turlock, however it's nothing compared to what this place did for me! I forgot his name however I believe he is the owner along with his wife whom sits in front. I'm very picky with my nails and how they look. He did exactly what I asked for. In addition to that I didn't even have to ask him to clean the bottom of my nails. The place is clean and I like the fact that he takes his time. The only down fall is he does take his time on your nails. So you may end up being there a little longer.  However overall he is great at what he does! I love my nails! I've been there 4 times and will continue to go back. Read Less

I used to go here because I didnt know of other places.  Most of the techs speak very little english but talk to eachother in their native language while working on your nails/toes.  Rude, rush-jobs.  Nails wont stay on long.  There are so many, much better shops in Turlock, Im surprised this one is still in business! The man that works near the front cut a piece of skin off my pinky. No apology, no acknowledgement, nothing. When we asked the lady how much our nails would cost she rolled her eyes and ignored us.We made an appointment at 1 and didn't get started until 2:30 because they seated people that came after us first. To start with, the people that work here are extremely rude. I've been to this salon before, but didn't have an experience like this. I came in on a Sunday and while I waited (an hour to get my nails done after being told I didn't need an appointment when I called) I continuously watched them tell new clients that came in and asked how long the wait was, "A long time." When people asked how long they would say rudely, "I don't know. I said I long time." I like my acrylic nails to be short, I get them because my real nails are so weak. I told her I wanted them very short and when I told her I wanted them shorter than what she did she rolled her eyes and said, "I don't know why you want them so short, but whatever." While doing my nails she cut my cuticle pretty badly with the grinder that they use to take off extra acrylic. She didn't even notice until the blood was almost dripping off my thumb. My friend was getting her nails done at the same time and when we were finishing up she told me there was a cockroach that was crawling around her feet the entire time she was getting her nails done. She said she had to pick up her purse because she didn't want it to crawl inside. As we were paying we heard someone else telling their friend that they had seen a cockroach and they looked like they were going to leave because of it. They have the prices that they charge listed on a board, which said that gel was $5 extra, which is the same as other nail places that I've been. A fill is supposed to be $15. When I went to pay she told me it was $35, when I asked why she told me that gel was $20, not $5. I told her that the board said it was $5 and she said that was just for a gel top coat. I guess it was my fault for not asking beforehand, but it's a little ridiculous in my opinion to pay $35 for a fill when I paid $20 originally at a different salon. I like how my nails turned out, but they are relatively basic and can get them done elsewhere probably the same way. I don't think I'll ever come back to this salon after this horrible visit. If you care about the quality of your nail beds at all, DO NOT go here. The woman who did my manicure did the sloppiest job I have ever seen. She left paint all over the skin around my nails. She also cut me and then dumped rubbing alcohol all over my hands?????? Burning! Ow! When my nails were drying, she decided to pull up a chair and sit right next to me the whole time. Can you say awkward? Finally, I presented a gift certificate with a whopping $6 tip (because I felt like being nice despite the horrible service), the woman shot me a dirty look and then started laughing and talking crap to her co-worker. The interior is very depressing and unkempt. There was also a tweaker getting a manicure dropping f-bombs around my 7 year old sister. Thank you Tom for fixing my nails! I'm very clueless when it comes to nails, since I just recently started to get them done and Tom walked me through what needed to be done. All my nails are real and they were finally giving out on me, 1 nail almost breaking off and many cracked at the sides. I didn't want to lose the length and all the hard work it took to get there, so the shop told me I should get an acrylic overlay on all my nails. Now my nails are stronger than ever! And I got introduced to acrylic with color, instead of the regular clear/white acrylic that you paint over with nail polish, not a lot of nail salons offer this so it's great. When I came in here a while ago I was excited to get pedi and mani. What a horrible mistake and experience. I'm guessing people come here either because they like the prices or they love the shit talking they do about you. So unprofessional. I had got my nails done somewhere else and they had pretty much messed them up. This lady that did my pedi gave me hell of a time for it. She would constantly ask me who did them, would then turn to her partner and talk all her shit to the guy next to her in their fucked up language. Its like honey I know what you are doing. Never coming back here as long as that lady works there.Now the guy who did my mani was k but what really left me amazed was when he left in between doing my nails to take a smoking break. There is nothing in the world like a pedicure given by Sherry. She has a great personality. The shop is just adorable. Very comfortable, creative and friendly. I would recomend this nail shop anyday for quality, innovative, service and style. Keep up the good work girlz!! Read Less
