If I could give 0 stars I would. They definitely earned that. I was sitting there with my feet soaking for 45 minutes they hadn't even started my pedicure. They do not have enough staff.  Once my pedicure finally started, the man was very rude, and rough. He cut my toe and made me bleed. He was saying rude things under his breath the entire time. I went here yesterday with my sister as a birthday gift. My sister got a gel mani and I wanted a French pedi and a color change. My sister's mani didn't turn out how she wanted it. They have her the wrong gel color and they forgot to give her the design she wanted. I waited 45 min in the chair to get my pedicure which turned out great but color change was AWFUL. Let me reiterate that I got my nails done yesterday 5/24 and my gel has completely peeled off. Their polish is cheap and I paid way too much for my gel to come off the next day!!. The french pedicure was fine. But the manicure was a mess. The colors they have swatches of for you to choose from do not match the colors they provide. When I objected to them using the wrong color, they at first did not believe me and said it was the same color. Then, continued to suggest the color they wanted to give me was prettier. My original choice was a rose gold chunky glitter. They tried to give me a purple pink fine glitter. Once it was established that they didn't have the color, they said the only chunky glitter available was gold. Which would of been fine. However, I showed an example and asked for a glitter ombre, and ended up with a full nail of glitter. With no chance to object. The shellac cured uneven and pointy. The coverage of the glitter across my nail is sparse and overall not satisfied at all with my nails. I feel as if I was not being listened to, and was directly told I was mistaken for calling the color they wanted to give me wrong. 2/5 stars because the pedicure was the only thing that saved it from 1. They're nice enough but not at all concerned about hygiene. I had to ask the tech to change her gloves after she spilled water on the floor, wiped it up with an already filthy cloth and the started to resume my pedicure. Then she didn't clean up the edges of polish so there's color all over my toes. I paid for the most expense pedicure and it honestly wasn't worth it because they speed through it and didn't even remove the callouses.Read Less

"Emily" was the only girl working on 9/7/16 didn't change her gloves when switching to different customers...Disgusting Never Ever going back again very unsanitary. First time trying this place. Was a bit apprehensive because there was some bad reviews but no need to worry. The staff were very friendly. I was attended to straight away and offered tea. They did an excellent job and my nails and toes look absolutely lovely. Worth every penny. I recommend this place ❤ xx Read Less

I have been using a salon in my gym but they don't open Mondays. I popped into this salon, I had an immediate appointment and my nails were done very professionally. I was told to come back in with any problems. I had them done a week today and they are still absolutely perfect. The best I have ever had done! I've always used Porthcawl nails. Had my nails done with gel Polish which all chipped off after a few days. I went down last week and the lady said to pop in in the week and she would re-do it. I work all week so haven't had chance. Went down today and was rudely told there was nothing they would do as I was too late. Terrible customer service. Very rude. Won't be using them again. I had an appointment today for a pedicure. Had to wait 10-15 minutes, but sometimes that's what happens at nail salons. Due to the wait, I could only have a basic pedicure due to time restraints. I believe the name of my manicurist was Kevin. For some odd reason, during my pedicure, Kevin would get up & walk out of sight into another room. He would return a few minutes later, but I found this behavior odd. This occurred 3-4 times during my pedicure. Also, he barely massaged my feet, and did not massage my legs at all. The polish on my toes is fine, so no complaints there. I tipped him $3.00 for the $21.00 pedicure, but wished I hadn't tipped him at all. If I do return to Cong's for a pedicure or manicure, I will be sure to ask for someone else besides Kevin. Read Less

I've only been here twice. Both times was for a full leg wax. I told them ahead of time both times that my legs have a lot of ingrown hairs so they knew in advance. Both times I was very happy with my results. All the hair was off and very painless. They were very good at their job, quick and painless but not in a rush at all! Worst pedicure experience ever. We were rushed the whole time, paid extra for the spa pedicure with the hot rocks. They were literally rubbed on our calves for 30 secs. The paraffin wax was way too hot. Then they left polish on the sides of our toes besides filing all our toenails crooked. She scrubbed my daughter's toes too hard, she told the lady it hurt a little bit and she just told her it's not too bad??!! (I was in a different area) will never go there again, it's terrible. If I could give zero stars I would...they cut my toe nails extremely short without even asking and they did it so crooked. The entire pedicure lasted less than 10 minutes. She didn't cut my cuticles at all, didn't clean under my toes, did not file, did not buff. Scrubbed my feet for 2 seconds! Literally just painted them? I came here on a Sunday a week ago because it was one of the only places open in town, but oh my goodness was I surprised! The salon is super clean, bright, and well-put-together. As soon as I walked in, I was genuinely greeted by one of the ladies working there. I had their new jelly pedi, and a shellac manicure. I had two ladies working on my nails at the same time, and both of them paid attention to every detail! My nails are gorgeous! They were SO polite and accommodating, and I actually felt like they wanted to talk to me! ( most places the people working there only speak to you if they have to) I had such an unexpectedly amazing experience here, I had to share! I will definitely only go to this nail salon from now on. My friend made an appointment 3 weeks in advance for 5 pedicures for her wedding for 5:00. We arrived early and they had given our appointment to the people who had a 5:30 appt.  We waited until 6:00 to be put in chairs where we turned to prunes waiting another 20 minutes for 3 people to bounce between the 5 of us. When the pedicures were done at 7:30, 3 of us were waiting for manicures, at that point they left us with 1 employee. She didn't wait long enough between shellac coats, nor did she put it on thick enough. There's more but you get the point! Do not go to Cong's! I really like how I was treated here.  Mainly because they were busy and still let me know they were happy I had come in.  I especially like their emphasis on keeping things sterile.  Cong was more than happy to usher me in and take care of my toes.  I'm just a guy who needs a simple pedi without all the fancy stuff.  I was comfortable, the other clients seemed very happy and the staff were working very hard.  For men like me who do better with someone else cutting your toenails this place is great. What a terrible experience! I came in to get my eyebrows threaded and left with uneven and pinched/bloody skin. She left so many stray hairs undone I had to ask her to go back TWICE on both sides both top and bottom to clean up the job. She was distracted and barely acknowledged my requests. I've been here twice now. Both times were Walk ins. Was served right away. This nail spa is very relaxing and not really crowed like other places. I use to come to congs multiple times every couple months. When cong does it, your nails look great! Sometimes I've come and another person  has done it and I have random sides of my nail missing, or the lady won't give me any lotion during a manicure. Then the last time I called and made an appointment with Cong herself for a mani/pedi. I was going to a close girlfriends wedding and was leaving that night do I wanted to get everything done right before. I asked for a simple black shellac on my nails and black polish on my toes. Cong gives me a manicure and does the shellac. What she fails to tell me (or notice) is that the black polish was at its very end. So it would dry out too fast. My nails were cracking before they even reached the UV light. So she wiped the whole set and did it again. That was round 1. She then painted them again with 0 luck again.  So she erased...them ALL, yet again. Why? Because she didn't have enough black polish. So after erasing them 2 times already she left me there and went to go buy a new black shellac polish from the nail warehouse next door. As she leaves she passes me off to another employee to start my pedicure. Didn't I make an appointment with Cong?? Why am I getting a different lady?After cong buys the new polish..  she starts doing my shellac manicure while I'm sitting over the pedicure pond. Like literally she has the power cords of the UV light machine wrapped around my Arms and legs and it was just a mess. Now. After she does my round 3 polish... The other girl finishes with my NAVY COLORED pedicure. Hello? I wanted black. Did she not know I knew it was blue and not black? I take a look at my nails and I hate my pinkie and thumb.  The other girl offers to redo them. I was soooooo irritated I just said it was fine. The best part,  after all that cong never even credited me or gave me a discounted shellac manicure for the fact that she messed up 3 times and messed up everything.  I literally walked out and went to another salon. I made an appointment and waited ten minutes to be acknowledged after I signed in. I was then told they were behind. Fine, no problem..Two girls walked in and signed in saying they didn't have an appointment. They sat down..no issues here.An additional customer came in and was greeted right away, you can tell she knew her. She had an appointment before me on which she was late for but she seated her.. again, she was before me so no issue here. I'm patient... but I have my limits. I was about done when she took one of the girls who didn't have an appointment back and seated her. I was pissed. But I called her out once she took the additional second girl without appointment and then brushed me off to "wait".  If you don't care to acknowledge customers, their time, or even that they simply have been waiting for their turn.. then why do you deserve my money? Jolly was amazing I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she did just that. She took her time and my foot massage was perfect. Felt super relaxed. My nails and eyebrows were in serious need of attention so I made an appointment. I was half expecting to get there and have to wait like I would at other nail salons, but to my surprise a station was set up and ready for me. Their choices of polish were great and I especially appreciated that all the polishes were OPI, that's a must for me! My manicurist took her time and paid great attention to my overgrown cuticles with out hurting me! Typically after I get manicures at another salons in Turlock my leave with cuts and my cuticles peel day latter! It has been a almost a week and my nail beds look great!
