Let me start with saying I never review places, but I felt this necessary. This is my first time getting my nails done in Turlock, so I chose this place because it had such a high rating, but PLEASE do yourself a favor and go SOMEWHERE ELSE. They rushed through my pedi, I paid for a manicure, and they dipped my fingers in some cold water and called it good. I asked for gel nails, and I broke one of them so I asked if that one could get some acrylic to even then out, the girls said "It's fine it will grow back" I wasn't asking for her opinion, I wanted it fixed. I told her I would like it evened out, and she said "no, it will grow back" and then she said "I don't know how to do that" so whatever.I posted two pictures of my white gel nails. Love Cali Nails.. hands down, the best place to get your Mani's and Pedi's done. I've tried a lot of other places and didn't like them. I always ended up with bloody cuticles or just plain terrible looking nails at other places. Cali Nails never hurt me and always does beautiful work. All the Technicians are good. I don't understand how this place got so many stars. Getting your nails done should be a relaxing experience. Not here. I knew as soon as I set down I wasn't going to enjoy this experience. I know I should of left immediately but really needed a fill and so I stayed. Again my mistake. I have gel, shellac nails. I keep them pretty short for work. The girl doing my nails started by roughly filing them, then pulled out the drill. I don't let anyone drill my nails. I guess that made her mad. She took it out on my nails. She didn't leave the foil on long enough so she scraped and scratched my nails to get my polish off. When I told her maybe leaving the foil on longer would help, she snapped and said that's why they use the machines. No the reason you use the machines is to try and save time at your customers expense. Needless to say I won't be going back. Read Less

The girls are great!My nails always look awesome and all the ladies are so nice & it's a pleasure to come here time after time getting services from nails, pedis, waxing and some nutrients from that line agelock? Made an appointment for a friend and I at 5:30. We were not seated for a pedicure until 6:30. The place looked dirty and no music or tv was playing so it was awkwardly quiet.  I would have left if it wasn't for a gift certificate that I had. My 2 star review only goes to the lady who helped me. She was kind. My nails look great and she did a great job. But the wait and the gentlemen(very rude and looked miserable) who greeted us were not worth the time and money. Read Less

My experience there was completely awful. I had gotten stiletto nails here once before and they had done amazing! Exactly how I wanted them so I decided that after sometime of giving my nails a break I'd come back so that I could get them again. A new woman did my nails this time and you could tell she was completely miserable./After/ she clipped some nails to give it that point she asked me if this was how I wanted them. I told her that i didn't like them this pointy and she snapped and started telling me that stiletto wasn't what I wanted then and that what I wanted was almond and that I'll get what I asked for. So disrespectful and rude. After that she's continued to throw her things around the table almost hitting my other hand in the process. Mind you it wouldn't have hurt any but just the act was so unprofessional and ugly. After she asked me how I wanted them so I showed her a picture. She angrily added extra Acrylic and then started to file. My nails didn't look anything like what I wanted. Not even close. So I asked her to just file them to square and of course she did that in a rushed and rude way. I ended up just getting a clear coat instead of the colors I chose being that I didn't want to be around the attitude any longer than I already had. From the start she told me it would be 30 dollars and still ended up charging me 30 bucks for the awful set I now have to get fixed. It was an all over ugly, unprofessional, and awful experience and I never plan on visiting Cali nails again. I had before told my friends lots of good things about Cali nails because I haven't been able to find a place to do good stiletto nails. Best place to get nails, pedis & more....Started coming here over 3years ago and I'm always treated great!!! It's a nice place, they have upgraded a lot of things.... Desks, chairs, massage chairs for pedi station and much more!! I've gone to several places from $100 for acrylic to $25... And I have to say this a great place for great looking nails! I'm always happy when I leave here! Yes.... They do speak in their language... But who cares, great service is still being provided... Overall, I love this place! My nails last over a month!!! I have been going to this salon for years and have become increasingly more and more dissatisfied. I make an appointment and still have to wait because they will take walk ins and not think of the inconvenience to the customer with the appointment. Additionally if the salon becomes busy the techs will rush thru your service and the result is less than adequate. Read Less
