Very judgemental, saying rude things about me and my kid TO ME, while doing my nails. She cut off more skin than she needed to, and so my fingers stung when she put more chemicals on.. I dont think i've ever had such bad service at any nail salon before.. Read Less

I'm giving them five stars because of customer service and quality of the outcome of my nails ! Everywhere I go I always happen to deal with rude girls or amateurism. I was home late from work and wanted my nails done badly and everywhere was closed or wouldn't take any more(it was around 5:30 and everybody here in Tracy closes at 6-7) so I stopped by Galaxy by 5:50 and being so close to closing I would expect hostility I get it I come in last minute but not at all! Just a loud hello and what I want done right away. All smiles and such a positive personality. Very kind, attentive and she knew exactly what she was doing. She was multi tasking and still didn't get lost. Even watched how she was with other people just a total sweetheart. I was in and out literally 30 minutes for a full powder set and they were perfect ! I just went to another salon called Top Ten here in Tracy because of a Christmas gift card and it just helped me realize even more how great Galaxy is ! Horrible elsewhere. It's hard finding the right nail lady and I'm so happy I found the place. I definitely recommend ! I wish I could remember her name but it was on a Sunday night. I finally found a place I really like. Mia is awesome! This is the second time she has done my nails and from here on out I will wait if I have too, to get her to do my nails. The last time she did them they lasted for almost three weeks. I went with a plain French gel manicure both times. Maybe next time I will get more creative and have her do a design or something. On Saturday July 29, 2017 my mother, 4-year-old daughter and I went to Galaxy Nails and Spa to have a mani-pedi. My mother and I, had the $32 mani-pedi and my daughter had the $20 mani pedi. We decided to try this salon because my daughter wanted a mani pedi on the winnie the pooh chair.About the mani-pedi: Well, here is why I do not recommend you go to this salon. No even 24 hours after the manicure, my nails were peeling off (see picture) I have had manicures before and this has NEVER happened. That day we had dinner out so I did not even washed dishes, something was wrong, maybe the lotion they used made the nails greasy or the nail polish was of bad quality. On Sunday morning, I send them a message in facebook and nobody answered. Then, I decided to stop by Today Monday 31, to inform them what happened. Most of my nails had peeled off and my daughter did not have one nail on her hand painted, and on her feet she might have half of the nails still painted. To my surprised I was blamed for what happened, and while I was offered to immediately fix the nails, I was shout at, and blamed for what happened repeatedly. When I asked if I could come on another time to fix it, since my daughter was sick (I just had pick her up from school because she vomited) the lady screamed at me and told me no, because it was my fault. The mani-pedi was ok, truly, I have had better. I loved the massaging chair and the guy who did mine and my daughter's mani-pedi was nice, I think his name is Wi. I liked that we arrived around 11:30 a.m. and the salon was busy but not packed. The salon is nice, it seemed clean and I noticed the tubs were cleaned after each client was done. But I do not feel like paying $32 plus tip for a 24 hr mani-pedi, with an additional side of screaming and rudeness. No Thank you! Read Less

I called today at 6:25 p.m. to ask if they had time for a fill and pedicure at 7pm. Their website says they close at 8 p.m. I am a first time caller. The person's response in a whiney voice was "oh my gosh". I said never mind obviously they are doing so well that they don't need business. Being greeted/treated like that. I'll keep my $$$. STAY AWAY. I honestly have never had a worse experience in my life. I've had my nails done since I was 15. I'm 21 now. So safe to say I know the drill and the run down. I walked in at 1:45pm (no appt) and they sat me right away with a gentleman. Now I read the reviews before coming so I was a little worried about him. But I have him a chance since he was nice. He did take pretty long just to shape my nails but they came out even and exactly how I wanted them. Then he put on the color on my thumb and I didn't like it so I told him and he was happy to change it. Then he put on the one I liked. It was called "Velvet cream" and it's exactly how I like it on the sample. Neutral cream color with a purple undertone. He had a bright pink colored nail polish on his fingers that wiped off on my nail and he never cleaned it up. Then the top coat was pretty sloppily put on. Then he put me in the dryer by the door. Now this is where it gets really horrible. The terrible women that has short hair with terrible highlights was behind him and she was already loud that someone walked out because she was trying to Multi task but the women was taking so long that she left. So she was complaining. Then I got up from my nails being dry. And I've had my nails done 6 years and know the feeling when my nails are dry or when they are still wet. She yelled at me and said "no your nails aren't dry yet! Go sit back down" taken back I just replied calmly saying my nails were dry and I showed her while I touched my nails. Then she continues to argue with me back and forth?? What kind of customer service is that??? Never coming back. The gentleman deserves 4 starts (5 if he did better on the color). Oh and by the way. I had my toes done on May 18th. My friend booked the appt for two. I had to wait for her to get hers done before I even got started. I wasn't going to write this but on May 27 my toe became infected. I was given a RX. Within a couple of weeks I noticed my nail was dark and realized I now had a fungus. I have been putting on fungus liquid for months. Today July 21 my toe nail came off. I would never return to this place. I have not been to another salon to have my toes done in over a year. I had just had a hip replacement two months before having my toes done.
