So...I wanted to try the dip/powder nails. (My friend did them recently for her wedding and they looked great) I think I might actually like them; however I did not like this set...done by this place. Had them done last Thursday and by Saturday two were already coming off, they were done so poorly, with edges jagged/rough. My mom and I consistently went here for about 10 years and then I went to school, came back and decided to stick to the same nail salon I've been going to. I got one pedicure there and my toe started swelling up like a balloon! It was infected from their pedicure tools. I went back in a furious mood demanding I get a refund for all the medical bills to fix my toe (it was very painful, swollen and pussy). I've also seen them go down the drain with their customer service and professionalism. My mom still likes them but I refuse to go here anymore because of my poor experience getting an infected toe. I don't normally leave negative reviews due to the fact that I work in the customer service field, but I left this place saying, "That was awful!" The two women who did my nails, Linda (manicure) and Kimberly (pedicure) didn't do a horrible job, although their work was mediocre. I know for a fact that they have both worked for this company for 5+ years and therefore, I expected better work from them. The salon itself was completely empty when I walked in besides the two nails technicians and one of their daughters who was lounging on one of the pedicure chairs watching something on her phone with the volume on... very unprofessional. There is no music on in the salon and therefore makes sitting for an hour appointment very uncomfortable. About 2/3 of the way through my service, another nail technician walked in and started yelling at Linda in a language I didn't understand... also very unprofessional. I used to come here when I was in high school, and due to the fact that my normal nail technician (Bella, Happy Nails off Olympiad ) is out of town, I thought I would give this place another shot. I was disappointed and will not be coming back. I don't think that it will be open much longer if the company doesn't make some serious customer service upgrades. Stumbled onto this gem of a place today. I had Bella who did an amazing job on my manicure, had paraffin wax on my hands after then I was treated to a stone massage with my pedicure and last I had a 10 minute neck and shoulder massage to call it a day.  I will definitely be back. Read Less

I went here for years. Quality, consistency, and customer service went down the tubes. At one point they were attempting to be very clean and sanitary but that was soon a thing of the past. I go to this nail salon maybe 1 time a year when I  am tin a crunch with no where else to go.. Without fail. I am ALWAYS  reminded why I do not like this place.They use watered downed nail polish so a manicure only lasts a few days before it starts to look worn and dull.My daughter had her acrylic nails redone... at day 3 after the service half popped off and by 5 they were all gone. I've been hesitant to write a review as I've had mixed experiences at this location, but felt this last experience warranted one. I've been coming here off and on for about three years. I typically just get a pedi/mani, nothing fancy. I've generally had good experiences overall and the ladies who work here have been friendly. They do try to sell-up, but ALL nail salons do this, so that's not a big deal to me. Sometimes I go for it and sometimes I politely decline and they've always been pleasant. My paint jobs have always been good as well and I've never had any pain or issues afterwards. They do a good job cleaning their supplies and line the bowls for the pedicures.I'm giving a three star review overall based on the general lack of consistency with the time and services provided. Every time it's a different experience based on how many people are waiting. Sometimes it's been amazing and sometimes bordering on poor. I feel that I should receive the same service for the same money each time, but they don't. On some occasions I've been there for over an hour relaxing and other times they've rushed me out in under twenty minutes, cutting corners so they can move on to the next customer. Every nail salon I've ever gone to has tried to fill as many chairs as possible, so I get that, but it shouldn't be at the expense of the customer experience. I usually opt for the deluxe or luxury pedicure,if you chose these options be aware of what they include and ensure that the nail tech provides all of the services that should be included  (salt scrub, callous removal, timed massage etc.) This last time I went in, I had a coupon for a $35 European mani/pedi. It was supposed to include a salt scrub, massage and hot stone treatment. While I was waiting four more women walked in. The manager told them "five minutes." There were only four techs working and already four people in the chairs. The manager then said something to my tech and this is when once again, they started rushing my service. I feel bad for the techs because I feel that the manager pushes them to rush customers. The salt scrub was applied to my legs and immediately rinsed off, not scrubbed like they normally do it.  The massage was less than 90 seconds all total and no hot stones were used at all. I attempted to ask the tech about this but due to the language barrier she didn't understand what I was saying. When I went to pay I asked  if she could reduce the bill since she did not include the full service. My total experience was less than 20 min for both the mani and pedi. Walked into here Sunday. Asked for a gel manicure. They put a girl who obviously doesn't do this service on people often with me. I've been getting manicures for 15+ years every 2 weeks. So you know the whole drill backwards and forwards. She is all over the place she cuts my cuticles last when they are dry .. Ouch? I tell her round shape she makes them square with round edges. Then doesn't paint the paint to the end of the nail. Big surprise?? My nails chip next day after spending $30 on this waste. I say nothing while I'm there because I figure I'll show my disgust by not returning but not only do my nails look ugly but next day chipped... First time coming in and will NEVER be back. Came in for a fill, and as soon as I walked in the lady was so rude. She told me I would have to wait, I said that was fine and went to sit down to wait. Shittiest service ever. It is not often that I leave bad reviews but this place deserves it. Not only were the employees rude, but the quality of their service is horrid. Today I went in to get a full acrylic set, which is $27 dollars. I think that is a pretty good deal for acrylics. When I sat down to get my nails done the nail lady was going way to fast and doing such a bad job. Half of my nails would pop back off, because she didn't put enough glue. This place is a hidden gem. I don't know why there are all these bad reviews here. I come here for pedicures. They take walk ins and I'm in and out in fairly quickly. I have some pretty bad calluses but they take care of it. For $35 it's a deal. My polish now grows out instead of chipping. I have booked my mom in here too when she has been visiting on holidays. Hanson (the male technician mentioned in many reviews) is great with the manicures, my mom said she got the best manicure of her life. Honestly, it's convenient, I don't have to pre- book my appointment, I take a book to read and I come out with my feet looking human again. I really appreciate being able to get my nails done in a professional environment without the stress and chaos that occurs in other salons. Read Less

I've come here twice now, and my experiences have been better than the reviews, that's for sure.$30 for a basic mani/pedi with spa chairs.Yes, there was a slight "upsell" (e.g. which one of the high-end pedicures did I want... but no thanks. Like someone else had mentioned, I get my nails done for necessity, not necessarily for pampering. I don't know what someone could possibly DO to my nails that would warrant a $50 or $70 pedicure. Nevertheless, I digress.) I wasn't asked about any manicure upgrades, so I don't know if they have them, but I would have declined anyway. I just need decent looking nails every now and then.Both my manicure and pedicure turned out nice. My fingernails are a bit uneven (I'd asked for them to be evened out to the same length). I went to this place for one repair nail and a polish change. He did not want to do the polish change.. Insisting I have a fill. I just had to fill three days prior. I sat there for 45 minutes while they kept saying five more minutes five more minutes. They would speak in Vietnamese back-and-forth while they were looking at me and one of the girls was giving me nasty looks. Finally I said they don't have to do it and I was going to find somewhere else. They insisted on doing it at that point the whole entire time while she was doing my nails she was rude and would not talk to me but but engage with her fellow employees. She refused to put a clear coat of gel on top of my polish. She refused to fix my pinky nail.  It was an awful experience and I highly suggest that you take your business else where. Read Less

First time getting a Jell here a male employee was the only one who is available to do my manicure and applied the nail polish jell.. First of all do not let a guy do your nails. second do not go there for Jell please go somewhere else..I paid $35.00 for jell and only lasted for 2days... I was in a hurry and out of time going to a wedding that day that is the reason why i just went there.. very bad decision on my end and never AGAIN GOING BACK TO 1PRONAIL & HAIR..
