Never going here for another manicure again. The guy I think his name is Ben totally didn't give me what I paid for. I asked for a manicure and basically got a color change. I can paint my nails at home. I get manicures to Clean up my cuticles. He didn't touch them. I asked him if he was going to and he said no because my nails were too dry. Pretty sure that's why they put cuticle oil on. Then I asked him to file a corner of my nail that was uneven on the side and he snapped at me and yelled "you want it round?" Started coming here during college. I asked for Andrew every time for my gel manicure and he is HANDS DOWN the BEST! Andrew is so nice and such a joy to talk to; plus he does the best gel manicure I've ever had! I have referred a few of my friends to him and they all come back with the same response. I have to say I was pretty upset with my first ever gel experience. Two days after the gels one completely started peeling off followed by a few more a couple days later. I can't believe I spent that $ for the gels to come off sooner than a regular mani. It's aesthetically a nice looking salon and the women who helped me were hard and put in the effort but the gel product was a negative experience. I am working hard on not biting my nails and having them grow and that gel nail that peeled off after two days broke shortly after and I was never able to enjoy my nails. Read Less

I visited Paseo Nails while in California from the East Coast. It was the holidays, I had no wait time, the nail technician was very friendly and did not try to pressure me into any other additional services. It was a nice pampering experience. Most importantly my gel French manicure actually lasted 3 weeks!!! On the third week one single nail began to peel. I was bragging all over the place! I frequently clean with bleach which generally eats any polish up but this manicure held strong!! I will be back again if I make it out that way in the future (: Read Less

Worst mani/ pedi I've ever had. Went in this afternoon when the place was empty for a mani pedi. The women who did my pedi was decent but she was extremely rough on my feet, using the file across my whole feet instead of just my nails. I've never been in pain before from a manicure until then. The mani takes the cake though. First off, the lady files all of my nails completely crooked. Secondly, my entire gel mani has bubbles and fuzz from the shoddy job she did. Oh, and one nail is already peeling. Lastly, she was texting during the whole experience and would put my nails under the gel light for extra time so she could keep texting. As soon as she was done, she left so quickly that I couldn't even bring up the errors. My pedicurist noticed that my nails were uneven and she tried to fix them but to no avail. let me start off by saying that I​ was completely skeptical​ about getting my nails done here since I​ take Yelp reviews into deep consideration when it comes to trying out a new place. so they have an advantage of two and a half stars... already considering not getting my nails done here but I had a gift certificate for​ my birthday to Paseo Nails Spa ( wasn't going to let that go to waste ) I mean come on a ​free set of nails? yes!anyways I put the reviews and ratings aside to get my nails done. I was welcomed and everyone was super friendly and very intentive to my needs. I was sat down with Andrew who did an AMAZING job and made my who session very interesting. He held great conversations and most importantly he asked my opinion on almost every step of my session as far as applying the acrylics, shaping etc.. He was very informative about the products and explained the littlest detail to me as far as what he was doing to my cuticles. I basically felt safe in his hands and had no worries about a great/pretty outcome. I'm just too frustrated by this salon to go back anymore after several years of being a regular customer. Too many times I have called & made an appointment with a set time & requested to get the mani & pedi together (to save time).....too many times this hasn't been done so I'm not sure what the point of making an appointment is. To say the least we were very disappointed in the service we received on October 26, 2017. We went to experience some fun girl time with our friend who was visiting from Sweden. Unfortunately our friend from Sweden received these injuries instead. When we tried to address the issue with our technician, he proceeded to deny any wrongdoing and asked for his tip. I've come here several times and each time I am more and more unimpressed. I've been a few times before they completed their "center island remodel" and a couple of times after. They should've spent money on a new staff and less on the aesthetics of the place. I can deal with an "outdated" nail salon but I'm sick of dealing with bad attitudes, unqualified nail technicians, and crappy manicures that don't even last the next day. Read Less

Wow... Every time I come in here, I am blown away with the hostile attitudes that I receive from all of the employees. I decided I would come to get my acrylics done here and have been yelled at by THREE different people each time that I come in if I am to ask them to do something different to my nails. I have broken FIVE nails from here in the past two weeks from very simple tasks like opening a window. Today, after waiting 20 minutes for someone to help me, the woman who was fixing my broken nail began yelling at me when I asked if she would please file down one of the sides a little more. She explained that she would not do it and I could do it myself. She then walked away and I proceeded to wait another 20 minutes to get help from somebody else. The quality is horrid and so is the service. Why yell at your paying customer when they are asking for something from you? This place is disgusting- stay away!!! They 'tried' to wax my underarms with honey. She pulled off more skin than anything else - had to use 5 strips more than any other place. Also, service wise, they were rude and unapologetic about being bad at service!!! Read Less

I have been coming here for 3 years and am always happy with the service. The staff is very nice and attentive. I get a fill with gel and a pedicure and my nails always look great. Andrew and Henry do a great job!!  Highly recommend. They are usually busy but I never have to wait as they have enough staff to accommodate everyone. Read Less

Thought I'd try out a new place because a friend of mine comes here and her nails always looks so great.  Andrew did my gel manicure and he was friendly and did a great job! A woman did my pedicure (I think her name is Lee?) and she took her time and gave a wonderful massage. I've read some negative reviews on the cleanliness of this place but I'm just not seeing it...it's really clean and I'll be back! Read Less

BEWARE!!!If I could leave no stars, I would!!I called an hour ahead to get pricing and the lady informed me over the phone that regular acrylic fills are $17 and pedicures are $20.We get there and they sit my sister down in a tub covered by a loose plastic cover. Then, the lady that was going to do my fill asked to look at my nails and starts telling me that I have pink and white acrylics and that it will cost more than $17. I informed her that I am not from the area, and that my regular salon did a regular full set acrylics, so it's definitely not pink and white. I know what I got and what I paid for. My nails don't have any pink AT ALL, and right then and there I should've noticed that as a red flag for an aggressive up selling of services. Then she also said that my salon gave me a gel top coat and that it will cost me an additional $5 for that also (Yes, the regular salon that I go to in my home town does not charge for a clear gel top coat on acrylics). I told her that it's ok, just use a regular clear nail polish instead of the clear gel top coat. She just rolled her eyes, started speaking in a different language in front of me to her colleagues, and proceeded with my fill, and kept on stopping in the middle of my fill to fill a pedicure tub, and to help other customers.  I told her to cut them short, and she starts drilling down to my fingertips and burns them. I informed her of that, but because she was going back and forth between me and the other customers, I'm assuming she forgot.Moving on to my sisters experience. They asked her if she wanted some sort of callus treatment on her feet, (she's 16 with no calluses), I clearly heard her say NO. As I'm getting my fill, I noticed the lady using a tool that looks like a cheese grater on her feet. My Sister says to me that she's used to other salons using a pumice stone during her pedicure and that this was a different experience. Finally, when we were finished, the lady who did my fill tells me my total is $45. I looked at her completely confused. My fill was $17, my sisters pedicure was $20. That adds up to $37. How did it turn to $45? She explains that the callus remover aka the cheese grater, was an additional $8. I asked my sister right in front of them, did you tell her you wanted that? She said NO! I asked her pedicure technician, did you tell my sister? The pedicure technician shook her head and said no. So...??? If the pedicure technician didn't tell my sister, why should we pay for something we never requested?!?! I told her that I was not going to pay the additional $8! The pedicure technician had the audacity to give me a dirty look and walked away. The lady who did my fill said, yes I'm sorry she forgot to inform you but the total is $45. We paid the stupid $45, and told them that they will get no tip!! I WILL NEVER, EVER STEP FOOT IN THAT SALON AGAIN!! BEWARE!! THEY WILL FORCE YOU TO PAY FOR SERVICES THAT YOU DID NOT REQUEST!!! It depends on who you get.  I usually walk in so I get whoever is available.  Everyone is always very nice and accommodating and you are always greeted right away with a smile.  Speaking strictly for pedicures here, by the way.  My advice is if you find someone who does a good job then get their name and make appointments with them.  I'm just lazy. I got a white manicure on Saturday that didn't even last until Sunday. Chipped the same day in multiple places and turned yellow by Sunday afternoon. I had to repeatedly ask the guy doing my manicure to get the polish closer to the nail bed, and even so the mani looked grown out even when I left the salon. I had a slightly better experience here a few months ago when I got gels, but this really turned me off of Paseo. Read Less

BEWARE!!! I went in to get my acrylics filled for my birthday weekend and a gel polish change on top. I have never had a worse experience at any nail salon in my life. The older gentleman who did my nails was so rough and kept drilling very hard. He had no customer service skills what so ever. He didn't ask me what I wanted and he never once spoke to me. I told him what I would like done and he proceeded to roll his eyes and not respond. (Mind you..no nail art was involved. Just a fill and one polish color on all of my nails). He was annoyed the entire time and made me feel very uncomfortable. He was not only unfriendly, but was very aggressive and rude. That night my nails started to chip. THAT SAME DAY. Absolutely ridiculous. By the next day I had broken one nail and my nails looked horrendous. He painted on the polish so far away from my cuticles that they looked like they had been grown out for at least three weeks. I wanted so badly to go back and demand that someone fixed the mess that he created but instead I went to another salon where I was treated with kindness and respect. My go to place for a mani & pedi! It is about a mile away from where I live. I always go to the plaza where they are located because my bank & Starbucks are there. The ladies & gentleman that work there are always friendly and ready to serve you. My boyfriend and I have been coming here regularly for the last 3 years. Yes, they are not as cheap as other nail salons, but they are very convenient, always find a way to fit me in and they do a good job. I have also taken my sister here, who is quite picky about her nails and she was over the moon happy with her last set of acrylics here. Would recommend this place to anyone! Read Less

Every time I come in to get my brows or nails done the staff is attentive and somehow remembers my name even though I don't speak to anyone (haha). The first time I came here I was very unhappy with the gel manicure and felt it was too expensive but I loved my pedicure and my eye brow wax. They are a little too pricey but when I got a refill here I knew I was paying exactly what it was worth. I love my acrylics and felt so great after leaving! My suggestion is to not get a gel manicure if you have short nails like mine, just go for acrylics. It'll save you time and money. I go here and only here to get my nails done. Henry does the best set and fill! I highly recommend him. He takes his time and does the best quality! For anything pedicure I recommend Betty. She too takes her time, doesn't pressure you into anything you don't want and my toes always look on point! Either way though, everyone in there is friendly and will treat you well. I came here with a friend local to the area to get pedicures. We came in without an appointment and were immediately greeted and seated. The salon was quite large and they had a very large nail color selection to choose from. The pedicure chairs were comfortable; they had a side tray that you could pull down and a remote control for the massage capability. Overall, the staff did a good job with our pedicures but it was quite short compared to others I have had elsewhere. Also, most nail salons I have been to have had different pedicure options (for example, a paraffin wax, leg mask, hot stones for the massage, etc) and they did not have those options here (that I know of) and so it was the most basic pedicure you can get. The prices were average. They do take cards, but they prefer cash, especially for tip. Read Less
