After living in Southern California for a year I have *finally* found my new nail salon!! First off, it is super easy to find. Secondly the salon is magnificent - clean and so beautifully decorated. The women were so friendly and kind to me - I got there for my appointment early and I didn't feel like I was annoying or inconveniencing them in any way. Jenny did my toes and another great girl did my nails - they came out perfect and the pricing is crazy reasonable! They thanked me a few separate times for waiting a bit (they were busy when I got there) and even thoughI was in the salon past closing time I didn't feel rushed or uncomfortable. They even have the cutest pedicure chairs for little kids! If you are looking for a new salon seriously look no further! A+ rating! Read Less

Gel manicure and pedicure, added the sugar scrub to the pedicure. Tech was Ben. Perfectly done, he didn't rush any steps and the color application is neat and tidy. I believe I've been here 4-5 times and Hannah has not disappointed. Black nail polish is the true test and the girl took her time and made sure they looked prefect. I really appreciate a nail tech that takes her time and takes pride in her work. I will say, I did have my nails done once by another girl and I wasn't a huge fan. She did okay but Hannah is my girl. I love this nail salon. Not only is the owner, Maya, fantastic and sweet, but the ambience of the salon is peaceful and lovely. It gives one the chance to relax and luxuriate in a calm setting that is decorated in a feminine tasteful way. The last nail salon that I went to before finding Nail Luxury was so hectic it made me nervous. The manicures at Nail Luxury are excellent and they take their time to make sure that the manicure/pedicure is done well. They take pride in their work which is quite unusual in this rushed society of ours. They also have little butterfly chairs so that children can get pedicures. They are adorable. I went here to get acrylic nails and it's was horrible like just bad. I guess only one lady does them but she does a horrible job. My nails were fat and miss shaped and I asked for a square and she couldn't do it and the nails were left like ballon nails. When I got home I had to file them down myself. They should pay on going to a nail school instead of fancy couches. Also the place was dirty. Just really don't go trust me. Read Less

Love this nail salon! It's clean, the staff is friendly & efficient & it's a great place to take your kids. Nails come out looking perfect & last! I've gotten acrylics which lasted an entire month & gels which have lasted 3 weeks. Only bummer is if you go during their busiest times you will have to wait or come back. Read Less

I went to this place with my 8-year old daughter and her friend. I had book the day before,to make sure that they would start us at the same time. Well they over booked and started on me and the other little girl.They were done in 15 minutes with this little girl. That is when I realized they were just trying to rush the little girls, instead of pampering them and make it a fun experience. I immediately told the person working on me to STOP and start on my daughter's pedicure.  It was really disappointing because it is a cute place with small chairs for kids.They were rude and condescending.My advice skip this place. Stopped here on a Sunday morning. It's a beautiful salon - nice and quiet too! I received the classic pedicure and couldn't be happier with results. The sweet young lady worked quickly, but didn't rush like the usual places I go. She even gave me an amazing foot and leg massage that lasted over the usual 5 minutes...Loved it! Price is reasonable. Popped in for a gel manicure and eyebrow wax. The salon is in a beautiful new complex, and they did a nice job decorating. Neutral colors and not too crowded. Pop music softly playing. Diane did a great gel manicure and was very sweet. She was easy to talk to and was very gentle on my nails, which isn't always the case with gels. Waxing was great also! This upscale salon is absolutely the best. I was lucky enough to get Maya to do my nails and would recommend her every time!!! Everyone is a peach and they do what they can when they get busy, but you're better off making an appointment just in case! Read Less

This is one of the better nail salons I have been to. The owner is super friendly, the color selection is good, technicians are quite nice. The best part for me is that it is roomy and relaxing decor. Some nail salons stress me out because they are so tightly packed into a small space and there can be a lot of yelling back and forth between the technicians. This is not the case here. Very nice place with friendly staff. Linda did a great job on my pedicure. Maya did my pink fill and gel polish. They take their time and take pride in their work which is refreshing. I was there much longer than expected - 2 1/2 hours, which is a bit excessive. I was surprised at the cost when I paid. The fill was $35 and said she didn't charge me for 2 broken nails she replaced and charged an extra $10 for a bit of sparkle polish on the tips done in less than 60 seconds. Pink fill on website was $20. The pedicure was $35 and I chose the signature pedi for $28 with the lavender scrub, which was nice. She offered to do a free design for me so not sure how we got to $35. I paid a total of $95 including a $15 tip. This is the most money I've ever paid for these services. At that price I can't afford to make it my regular place. In all fairness to Maya and Linda I'd like to ask if there was a mistake in the charges. There was an unhappy lady there who was mad she had to wait when she had an appointment and Maya handled very professionally in an effort to accommodate everyone there. This place is gorgeous; however, my "experience" was the worst. Upon being greeted by Mai (at the time I didn't know she was the manager) and telling her that I'd like to "Classic Pedicure" she tried to upsell me. This is normal right, I take my seat in the chair and Linda is my technician. Lovely young lady but she too tried to upsell me several more times while sitting there. I'm on my feet A LOT with my line of work and when I go for a pedicure, I don't care to chat but bask in the massage. The massaging of my feet, legs and back from the chair. I quickly realized that my chair wasn't rotating from my shoulders down & I inquired of Linda who pushed some buttons and inquired of Mai. Mai tells me that it was because of the pillow in the chair as to why I wasn't feeling it. Here's where I'm insulted because I think I could feel that the kneading vibrations never left my shoulder blades. Nevertheless, I remove the pillow and let Linda know that it's still not rotating up and down. She says something more to Mai in their language then says, just a moment to me. My thinking is that Mai will be over momentarily to check it out but Mai doesn't come over until Linda is completely done and they need the chair I'm in for another customer. If it hadn't been for Linda, I would've walked due to not getting the service I can pay less for at a hole in the wall place off Moorpark called Paris Nails. "All that glitters isn't gold" When I confronted Mai she began blaming Linda, the pillow, then the I didn't know, I thought it was resolved...she would've known this had she followed up. After I let her know that blaming Linda was unacceptable she began to apologize and say, "I learned a valuable lesson". I'm not sure what one learns when they play the blame game but I do know the lesson I learned is that I will NEVER be back nor recommend. Read Less

The nicest nail salon in town that I've seen so far. Big and airy, it has never been crowded when I was there (though I usually go late in the day on Saturday). Easy to get in and out for my elderly mom. It's a little more expensive than some other places, but much cleaner and quieter than most, so very worth it IMO. Read Less

$20 to take off polish + buff & shine is absurd, especially when I specified up front that I didn't want a full mani, didn't need polish, and was only interested in polish removal and the buff and shine. Expected to pay $10-12 tops, was told I needed to pay $15 for full mani service plus $5 for buff & shine. I'm less upset about the pricing of the services and more upset that despite saying from the beginning I did not need a full mani and did not want one, I was charged for one. My new nail spot. I am very picky when it comes to my nails, still Diana did a wonderful job on my gel manicure. My nails are super short and they still came out perfect and shaped nicely. Cindy's pedi massages are absolutely amazing! This was the first time I was totally relaxed at a nail salon to the point where I even dozed off a couple of times. Everyone is super friendly and you can tell that the guests comfort is their top priority. Not to mention the interior and overall atmosphere is really up to par. You'll immediately notice the cleanliness of this nail salon which is great for a germaphobe like myself. I'd definitely say that my visits here will be mandatory. Happy I've discovered this gem.
