BY FAR THE RUDEST PEOPLE ON THE EARTH! It's real easy, I bought two gift certificates for somebody and they didn't end up taking them, so ended up wanting to get rid of them or was hoping to get my money back. Was in a jam and finds were tight, so I checked over the certificates for any warnings or anything to say I couldn't. Well they are cheap and they have gift certificates from the dollars store, so they didn't cover their ass at all. So I went in and asked the owner who sold it to me, who even had the balls to get a tip or more money out of me for cert. English was good at time too! Overall, they are adequate, as far as eyebrow waxing goes. The salon is located in a very beautiful, outdoor shopping mall. The salon itself was very small and crowded. I went in on  a Thursday night around 8pm, and they were surprisingly crowded! The only reason I went to this salon is because I had an interview the next day, and LA Nails was the only place that was open late for me to get my eyebrows waxed. Even though they were very busy, they took me right away. The lady who waxed my eyebrows was very thorough and really took her time. The end result was very nice. I have a little bald spot on my eyebrows that is often exaggerated when I get a wax, but she was able to avoid that. I have to say I'm extremely disappointed in this place, I asked for acrylic nails with just a nude polish and once the lady was done I thought they looked horrible! I asked my sister and she said I was just being to picky so I paid and left. But they didn't even wash off the glue or clean my hands in any way. Also the polish looked all bumpy but I didn't complain and just left. Now it's only been 3 days later and I haven't done anything that would make my nails break off at all but 1 of them fell off already! In 3 days!!! I would go back but I really don't even want them to touch my hands anymore. I'm on the fence with this place as Tammy gave me a great mani but a guy did my pedi and it looks like a child painted my toes as some of them are not fully painted and the ones that are go outside my cuticle line. I wanted to go back and have them repainted but then I noticed that my cuticles were barely trimmed and decided I should not have to waste my time. I have to admit, I didn't initially have high hopes for this little tiny salon, but I was pleasantly surprised with my Gel manicure. I've tried a couple other places in between and it just didn't go as well or look as nice....to my surprise I've now made this my go to spot! I've been here 3 times and its consistently nice. Horrible job on acrylics! Asked for a coffin cut, I even called ahead of time to ask if they knew how to do it. They said they did. They can't even do regular acrylics! I asked them to take them off I wanted my money back. This is the only place I will ever go for nails again. I've been a regular for months alf and I've never had a negative experience. All of the girls are incredible and they really treat you like family. they remembers details from our conversations and always asks how people are doing, events were, etc. whenever I come in. The tech would indulge my ideas but was always there to recommend something different if she didn't think it would turn out like I thought it would. This place is so wonderful! Yesterday was my first time at this place. I came here because of my friend's recommendation. Just went for an eyebrow wax. The room was very dirty. Floor, walls, mirror hadn't been cleaned in a while. She rolled out paper on the bed which was a very good thing since the towels and bedding were also stained and filthy. I was hoping the waxing would overshadow the dirt but no.....quick swipe of wax, a few plucks, no shaping, rough hands and a couple of bruises later I was out $12.00. I will not go back again. Worst experience getting my nails done ever.I went in and showed them a photo of some acrylics and asked if they could do it...assuming if they couldn't they would tell me. They said they could do it, they couldn't. It took over 2 hours and towards the end they had two people working on my nails to create the nails in my photo. The "black" is two colors, some spots of black and some spots of BLUE. They then convinced me to get rhinestones for an extra 5$ which were put on crooked and lathered in glue. I pay 38$ and as soon as I walked out all of the glue, stones and paint smushed together on one nail. I usually go down the street but its closed sundays and i took a chance on this place which i knew id regret per reviews but i told myself to just do it my nails needed a fill badly it had been a month so very grown out. Lets just say my grown out nails were better than the job they did on the fill. I walked in and basically forced them to greet me and ask what i needed and it was like i was putting them out although they were open for another hour. They sat me down and the young girl who greeted me was just lingering and then after 5 min she came and started taking off my polish without a word and i told her i needed one nail fixed because i had broken it. Then i was moved and i was confused another woman took over without a simple "oh shes going to take care of you now" and now i was getting my nails sanded down so i told the technician about the broken nail needing to be fixed and trying to lighten the mood so i was telling her i was opening something when it broke because i like them super thin and i told her this 3 times (because i dont like to be demanding but i want them to know how i like them since clearly they cant take the second to ask she just pretty much assumed she knew). The whole thing was a rush like she had left somethig cooking on the stove and she needs to get to it. Those electric sanders can burn if u stay in one place too long or you just knick at corners which is exactly was she was doing i wish i video taped it. Im just going to cut it short and say every single nail is a different size and she was so distracted she would hit the sander against my nail which would shorten  or dent the nail. The color was not applied correctly multiple nails dont have polish on the sides and she was just in her lala land and i will never go back i should have gone with my gut because the last straw was being told i was good to go and they didnt check i had to check them and as i walked out three nails got ruined with chunks of polish coming off because they were fresh Read Less

This place is awful. They went to clip my cuticles with a used clipper, and I had to specifically ask them to use a clean one. Then they pulled out the sanitized clipper. Then, when I told them which color gel I wanted, it didn't go on the same color as the sample. They didn't end up having the right color, so I picked something else. I was not happy at all. I was referred by a coworker and went in and they seemed pretty nice at first but then another customer came in after me and they really started to rush so when it was finally my turn she globbed on the acrylic powder and ended up all over my finger and didnt even clean it up and rushed super quickly and didn't even file my nails so all my nails were and still are even after I pointed it out crooked and different lengths and was constantly playing musical chairs and going from station to station. They had only one person that can do acrylics and three other associates that did odd jobs and such and even though she was the only one doing the acrylics the other associate did mani pedis etc and only one license of cosmetology with only ONE name the other 3 associates didn't even have one. They took over 2 hours to do my nails. They had poor service, did a HORRIBLE job on my nails and high prices and took way too long. Read Less

I was the only one in the nail salon and one guy worked on my nails while the other 4 sat around talking loudly on their phones or playing games on their phones. finaly after like 15 min someone came to do my toes. they did a horrible job. and there was a hair in the paint on one of my nails that I asked the guy to fix 3 times. he kept saying he would but didnt. another nail was just all messed up he clearly saw it but just didnt care. I have gone here twice looking to get a decent price on acrylic nails. They charged me $25 which isn't bad until I left and saw how aweful some of my nails looked. They were not even in length or size. I asked her how much it would be to get a refill on them and she said $10 which I thought was good. But the next time I went in they wanted to charge me $15. I got my nails done here 5 days ago. My pedicure looks fantastic but my french tip manicure?  Not so much.The woman that did my manicure was very sloppy. She slathered on the while nail polish like she was preparing for battle or something. I think it was because she was angry that I refused to by extra sh*t like a sea salt scrub treatment. She also left some cotton ball fuzzies underneath my fingernails. I remember her picking the cotton out after she'd painted my nails.. and this is probably why my nail polish started chipping 2 HOURS LATER!!! I was in complete disbelief. Sooooo pathetic! The man that did my pedicure really did do a beautiful job. Why are men better at doing nails than women? (I would NOT make this generalization if I haven't noticed this at EVERY nail place I've been to)Their spa massage chair actually worked but it wasn't amazing or anything. Great place to get your nails done when you're in a hurry. I came here during my lunch break today for a french tip mani and it only cost $13. The lady did a great job. I was in and out in 30 minutes.This is your run-of-the-mill strip mall nail salon...nothing fancy, just decent work at a decent price (I wouldn't plan a spa day here w/ your friends or mom).It's located next to Old Navy at the Janss Marketplace, so nice place to people watch as your nails dry.
