Three of the workers there were talking about me and my mother in front of us and were not helpful at all to begin with! I love coming here for my facial waxing, gel manicure and gel pedicure. I like that all their prices are constant which means they dont change the prices whenever they feel like it. That has happened to me at other salons. Recently I took my 5 year old niece with me and they took very good care of her while she was getting a pedicure and manicure. Second visit: I asked for Kevin after having an amazing first visit at the beginning of October. I am not blessed with the nicest nails or cuticles due to my profession. Kevin makes my nails perfect, and the gel lasts an entire month which has never happened before... From other places it will start to lift or crack in a few weeks. The email I sent and got no response to: I came in for a full set last week and it was easily the worst experience I've had getting my nails done in the 17yrs I've been going to salons. The woman was rude, but as she isn't actually required to be friendly I let that go. She didn't clean up my nails or around, or have me wash my hands. She was extremely rough- she twisted my hand/wrist to the point of pain, pushed on my skin painfully, and hit my skin with the spinning bits c...ountless times. She glued the nails to my skin and was visibly annoyed when I noticed almost all my tips were crooked. I specified to her I did not want gel polish and she replied, "only gel. It lasts longer." Well I like to change my colour so that doesn't help. But I turned and only saw gel. Once she got up I saw regular polish behind her. While I was drying she started on another women right next to me. That woman told her no gel as well and your technician shot me a quick side glance than just nodded her head once to the woman. Why did I have to have gel but she didn't?! Then she told me I was done, put a liquid on my nails and said goodbye. She seemed very annoyed that I asked for a towel to dry my alcohol soaked hands. She then had the damn nerve to charge me $45 for a painful and bad experience. I questioned her but no response. I left with glue and dried powder on my hands, and my nails honestly looked horrible. It's been almost a week and they still hurt as if they're going to break off; they look horrible so I will next have to get a new set instead of a fill. I am extremly upset that I was obviously taken advantage of and disregarded of deserving proper service. I decided to try your shop because it is in a great location and I liked what I saw online. Omg, so I've been to some nice shops, but this one was fabulous. I went there to get a polish change on my hands and feet. Well while the tech was removing my polish she asked me when was my last fill. Mind you it was last week, she saw all the stuff that wasn't done correctly, so she corrected the flaws. She did such a good job with my hands I had to get my feet done too. Yes, I came out of there spending way more than I had planned to but it was so worth it. I go to Yelp for basically anything I am looking for but I rarely write any reviews. This place definitely has the worst customer service and service possible. I have lived in multiple cities in multiple States and by far the worst of the worst. My first time here I stumbled upon them while shopping in the Lincoln Center and decided to give them a try as they are in a higher-end shopping center.The lady who did my manicure and pedicure must have been blind as my nails look like they were trimmed with a chainsaw. The buffing that I paid EXTRA for only lasted about a day. Today, I went in again in need of a manicure knowing I would request a different person, to give them a second chance. At 12:30 p.m. on a Tuesday the building inside is empty.....no customers whatsoever. Im am seated right away...there are five or six employees sitting down on all their phones talking & laughing as I'm waiting for 15 minutes on hopes that one of them would start my manicure....I had to walk out of the establishment due to their extremely poor customer service. Came in for full gel set and pedicure the prices were listed on the wall and I was charged way more than the listed price. I questioned them and they said the price was for a a different type of gel service even though it says gels full set. And the pedicure was also a different price than listed. It was the worst , don't judge a book by its cover ... the way everything is set up but they are all amatures they can't paint . One of the ladies tried to use the callus scrubber on my friends legs also used cuticle oil to massage her legs ... they were rude , very ruuuudddde ... Only giving two stars because the person I've been going to is great and she takes her time and is good at what she does. If it wasn't for Linda, it would have been one star instead. I've been coming here only to Linda and no one else. Today, I decided to invite my sister and my nieces (22, 15 and 3 year old). My sister asks for a pedi & my 15 year old niece needed to fix one nail, she previously had a full set and one finger broke. My 3 year old niece just wanted her nails polished. Some guy happily polished my 3 year old niece's nails. They were fairly slow with less than 5 people being serviced until we walked in. Then the lady who worked on my 15 year old niece's broken nail got flustered and angry because she couldn't find a polish to match the color my niece already had. My niece mentioned that she knew the number & brand of the polish and the nail tech yelled at her in a rude tone telling her they had "three kinds of that brand" then stomped away to their polish selection to keep looking. I told my niece to forget it, her nail is fixed, she can go back to the shop she first went to, to finish the polish. My 22 year old niece came in as soon as the guy finished up polishing my 3 yr old niece's nails. She told him she just wanted a polish change on her full set, not gel polish but regular polish. He said okay and told her to pick a color. Not even two minutes into looking for a color he asked her if she was ready, she hadn't decided yet so he told her "then you will have to wait in going to work on somebody else." As he said that he turned around and started laughing with a coworker as if he just got away with doing something bad. The look on his face and laughter at telling my niece to wait after already telling her to pick a color pissed me the fuck off. Not only that but he quickly seated a white lady, who was a walk in. My niece was so angry with their service she just refused to get anything done and just waited for me to finish up my gel mani with Linda. My sister who had the pedi was waiting for her polish to dry. Her daughter needed to use the restroom and while walking to the restroom she had stepped on her mom's big toe and messed up the polish. Shouldn't be that big of a deal to fix since it's just one toe and it was an accident done by a 3 year old. Upon telling one of the nail techs what happened, they thought we were telling them the baby messed up her nails and they got all mad and were saying some shit in Vietnamese. Once they figured we were talking about my sisters toes, they calmed down and the young man who usually works at the front desk ended up fixing the polish. It's like damn even the lady who was getting her toes done next to my sister was shaking her head at their unprofessional conduct. Overall the ONLY person I recommend from this place is Linda. If she is not free, walk out and take your business elsewhere. Everyone else will be rude as shit to you unless you are white. I am highly disappointed that I invited my family to deal with such rude behavior and have to pay for such poor service. I'm very surprised they let such people work here, especially when they are working based off of tips and clientele, you'd think they'd be much more polite and welcoming. I wish I would have gotten the names of the people who were helping my family members. I was just too angry and forgot. This salon is absolutely beautiful, however the service is HORRIBLE! When I walked in and asked for a mani/pedi the lady rudely told me take a seat and someone would come to help me. After 15 minutes not only did no one come to help me, no one even looked up from their station. The nail techs that did come to the front turned around and walked to the back when they saw customers waiting. As beautiful as the salon looks- I won't be back. Read Less

I uses to like to come here. But then i started to notice how they treat the black people differently then the others. I have noticed tjey rush my nails when there are white women waiting. They rush to help the white and asian women and make the black women wait. I have notixes this on many occasions. I will not ve going back. Sad cause i actually like the owner. A friend and I wanted to get a pedicure. I called last minute and was informed we could come on in. When entering I was amazed at the view of the location. Really nice and clean! We also had the back room to ourselves which I assume is more of a special event room. The ladies that we had we really nice and did not mind conversation. I noticed a good amount of men that enjoy the relaxing services as well. I definitely would recommend and return in the near future.. Read Less
