I'm giving a very generous 1 star on this review. To begin, the establishment is clean and the ladies who work are nice. However, my nails were hideous and embarrassing and I was not given an apology on it not being what I wanted and was overcharged. My nails grow long and strong on their own so I only get file and sometimes gel, but I pay for it and tip generously. My nail technician clearly gave no cares as to if my nails were even or even CLEAN looking. My hand massage was barely a couple hand squeezes and a laugh. I kept my mouth shut and walked out covering my ugly nails and luckily my GEL nail polish chipped in 3 days. I went to pro nails, they fixed the job for $10 and it kept for almost a month !! Just moved here a few months ago,must have a "regular" nail salon! Forgive me because I forgot my nail technician's name that did my immaculate pedicures(she was the matriarch there). Only reason I'm giving 2 stars & not 1! She was outstanding. However,the "owner" has horrible customer/people service skills. I get American or French manicure EVERY TIME I get my nails done,for years. I had this done 3 times here,had 3 different prices from her,my nails (white part) turned a light pink all 3 times. I've been getting my nails this way for YEARS & never had an issue. Each time I went in a day or 2 after pink started appearing the owner charged me to fix each time. The last time, 3rd time,the owner wanted to charge me to do an entire different process & charge me full price after I paid full price 2 days prior! She got very upset w/ me for not agreeing w/ her "offer" & proceeded to speak to the other staff in Vietnamese & they were all checking my nails making snarky comments letting me know I apparently dyed my hair or someone else's pink,I used some type of cheap make up (I use Almay & Chanel by the way & hardly wear make up used both brands for years),I must have used some harsh chemical to clean ( been using same good brand cleaning products for decades),or I must have dyed eggs (It was July/August), or changed oil in my car (I have an Audi & a husband & I've never changed the oil in any car).I left after the disrespect & laughing & ridiculous accusations & made it known, I nor my Freshman UOP daughter would ever go there again! Best nail tech ever. I believe her name was Kay? I think . She did such an amazing job and was so nice and paid attention to detail. My new spot. Compared to the work, this place is sooo cheap. Only $25 for these. I've been to other nail salons in Stockton they would have charged atleast $35. Recommend 100%!!!! Read Less

Been going here for 11 years now. Thought I should right a review. It's my Cheers, a place I go where everyone knows my name. Friendly staff, very welcoming. I usually get pedicures and eyebrow wax. Tried the VIP pedicure and is worth the extra money for all the pampering you get. I tried my first shellac manicure. Love the outcome. I have nice real nails but I never paint them since it comes off in a day or 2. Shellac (gel) is the answer. Highly recommend. For eyebrow wax, I recommend Dee. For pedicures, Dee, Cathy, Jill or Nu. Shellac manicure I've only had Karen but she was great, pays attention to detail and wants to make sure I'm more than happy. Perfectionist! Very relaxing environment. First and foremost, Cathy was amazing with me when she was doing my pedicure. Took her time and was very gentle with me. You can tell she's a graceful and caring person. I would go to her for pedicures.However ... the lady that did my full set. I am extremely pissed. Her table sits on the front left once you enter the salon. She really really really rushed me because she told a client on the phone to come in 15 minutes (while I was doing my pedi with Cathy) and that she forgot that I asked to get my nails done too. WTF?!!! How is that my fault? And, I got shitty service for her mistake? Smh. I automatically knew when she said that, my nails were gunna be f***ed. I should've just left right then and there. Anywho, here she is just doing her thing but not even checking my nails like if the cut and shape are the same. Or if it's smooth all around. I asked her for coffin shaped nails but a few were more rounded than the others. Some were shorter than the other. Uneven shaped. Ridges and bubbles were noticeable. Edges were not smooth at all. I asked her to make my nails look natural. I don't like thick ass looking nails. She said she made it as thin as she could. Shit is still hella thiiiiiiick!!! The fake nail that was glued to my right pinky didn't even cover the whole nail bed. Not to mention, painting was whack!! Some got onto my skin. Didn't even clean it up. Some still had the acrylic visible as paint did not cover them. Ugh. Oh, did I mention, she cut me a few times I bled. Aaaaannndd, a lot of glue got onto my skin. Looks like I have super dry cuticles. Ewwww. I am so mad. Writing this review makes me mad still. My husband was mad. On that thought, my husband was the one that pointed it out that my nails look like shit and that I should have her fix it. But, I was ready to go.
