*hands phone to girlfriend*I came in because of the reviews. It's not often I get my nails done so I can't compare prices really. I wanted a mani pedi with gel set for my mani. My pedicure was lovely the woman was very attentive to things like water temp, pressure. Which style pedi option I wanted. (E.g. stones, classic, cooling gel)The woman who I assume is Tina started on my set during my pedi. She seemed slightly rushed. After letting the nails set it was time for polish. Painted right over my cuticles only trimming the nail. When filing she filed my skin until it was bleeding. This was at the corner of the nail but my fingertips are now raw on one hand even after alerting her that it hurt. They did not clean the wound or file so all the dust quickly settled into it. After she still slathered on oils and lotions. When I got home I had to remove all the extra nail that was on the underside as well as the haphazardly placed glue that was on more than just my nails. Where do I start? The 2 stars are for the pedicure it was good.  I would probably go back and let Holly do my pedi but that would be the only reason.Tina did my nails and I was not happy with the shape.  I showed her a picture of almond shaped nails and she said she could do it. First one hand was different than the other. I told her I didn't like it so she took out the acrylic and attempted to fix it. They do look better now but almond shape is common and it shouldn't take that much to get them right. I think she was having a bad day because someone else was there complaining about their nails as well.She did not clean up my nails so I had to come home and get the file to clean up the gel on the edges smh that was terrible. Then she was supposed to do my eyelashes but when I didn't like my nails she said she was going to give me my money back and not do my eyelashes. I walked in today for a full set Pink and white powder and was helped immediately. She did a amazing job on my nails and I love them! I have now found my new nail salon. I highly recommend this nail salon and I promise if you give them a chance you won’t regret it. I have tried at least 10 places in Stockton and have never truly been happy with my nails. Tried the place out for the first time because of all the good reviews I read this morning. I must say, Tina didn't disappoint. She is a lovely lady, very gracious, sweet, and professional. My nails look wonderful and my daughter also got her nails done by another women, that also look great. It's clean and quick but busy. I went early so I got in quick but as I was leaving the place was filling up. Tina must be good at eyebrows because 5 people were waiting on her for eyebrows before I left. I will be back. Great customer service, and an overall good  presence in this place. One thing I really appreciated most was that she didn't ask me where I got my nails done before coming to her shop. No gossip queens here. Again, very professional and made me feel like she was just happy to have my business. I've always been very picky when getting my nails done but had a hard time finding a place that pays attention to details like I do. This place does great work and I don't leave annoyed like I would at other places. The ladies here truly give you their full attention and make sure your happy. With that being said, I found my favorite nail salon here at Perfect nails. They always take great care of me and make sure I'm happy with everything before I leave, I love that! My wife and I went in for a pedicure; a nice monthly treat to spend some quality time together. We were pretty happy with the visit.....until we had to pay.The employee took our credit card and proceeded to use the card chip for payment.  When she did this the card didn't work...or so that's what she said.  On the receipt it didn't say declined or a tech error....it said voided.  Ah, forgot to mention that as soon as she saw the supposed "decline" code her attitude, as well as what I think might have been an owner, changed immediately.  They became very snotty, cold and demeaning.Now, I can't speak for the rest of the country but those chip readers have been notoriously buggy.  She didn't offer to try and "swype" it to confirm she just told my wife and I that we should go and get money from the ATM.  And that, too, was delivered very coldly.Overall we have no intention of every returning and we will be sharing the message to our friends and colleagues.  Very poor customer service. I just left the salon and I kid you not, this is seriously the best place I have ever been. I had my nails (acrylic set), toes ( French manicure) and was able to get my eyebrow and lip waxed for super cheap and they did an AMAZING job! Normally I always have something on my nails that I don't really like, but I just deal with it... however leaving here today I am impressed that there is not one imperfection on my nails! My experience here was terrible. They inconvenienced me by moving me away from my sister after I said we wanted to sit by eachother. In addition, we were the only ones in the shop, so we could have sat next to eachother. On top of that, the manager's attitude towards us was terrible!! My nails look HORRIBLE!!! Cheap Cheap Product. Not even after 24 hours my nails broke in half very painful was bleeding i went in to get my money back and she refused she wanted to fix it? why would i let her fix it if it broke the first time? thank goodness i paid with my chase card. I stopped getting tips for a while but I decided to start again and I looked her up once more. I am always satisfied with service I receive. Me and my boyfriend came to get our pedicures done. $18 for basic, total $36. The lady that did my feet did an alright job, I'd give her 3 stars. One thing I noticed was that she only rubbed my foot with oil, but the lady that did my boyfriends feet put lotion. Also, usually the ladies that do my feet would ask if everything is okay at the end but she didn't, she just did her job didn't really try to communicate. The lady that did my bfs feet didn't scrub much cause I seen a lot of callous left, but he is a guy so can't expect much. I'm giving 3 stars because they just did their job and took the money. This place is stupid. Seriously, I've been getting pedicures for 14 years and this is the WORST place I've been to. I've even been in the straight hood and got better than this. Serves me right for being too lazy to just drive up to my normal nail salon. Oh, and literally EVERY other nail salon charges WAY less for their "deluxe" pedicures and actually scrub and massage your feet and legs. I have hella cuticles left. I paid extra for callus remover and my calluses were not even dented. I thought the whole reason for getting a pedicure is to relax and NOT let my feet look like man feet. I went here for a pedicure with a friend.  They offer a few different pedicures from a basic for $18 all the way up to a Deluxe for $45 that includes a hot stone massage.  I got the basic and added the callus remover and designs for my little tootsies. I was very impressed.  For $18 I received a leg and foot massage out of this world.  The designs were awesome and I love my cute new toes.  The only bad thing is they charge $1 to use your credit card and they don't add tips to the amount.  I will definitely be back with cash in hand!!!
