Okay out of all the bad reviews I've heard I'll have to say I didn't experience any of that first off when I came I didn't want to come because of the bad reviews it had received but hey, it was close to our hotel and I had a broken nail and I needed my nails fixed for a concert we went to that night. I went in and I can tell he was the owner. I forgot his name but he took such great care of me I got a pedicure a nail change and a nail fix all for $50. I had great service it was quiet, Mellow, got to know a couple of regulars, they were very friendly and we talked and I was out the door. The setting was comfortable I really like the idea they had of the couch with the basins right in front of you and wood all around. It was modern, it was nice for a nail salon. Sooooo relaxing! Sit back, have hot tea and just enjoy being pampered. The nail artists are very good. It’s great to go solo or with a party. Perfectly Polished nail salon is now my go to salon while here in Tahoe. Tammy and her crew were extraordinarily friendly and accommodating. The salon has reasonable prices and nail techs do beautiful work and are skilled(gentle and thorough). I appreciate that I get my own sanitized pack of tools plus  emery board and block. Horrible experience!! We (a group of 7) went here to get nails and toes done for my up coming wedding!!! They sat us up right away super nice at first!! They would not let us pick what we wanted totally pushed the more expensive stuff on us!!!  Not professional at all!! Nails were not straight at all and when asked to fix them they got all pissy and threw a fit!!! Automatically started talking in their own language super fast!! It makes me sick that we went there for a special memorable moment and 3 hours later left that shit show!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!! One day later I woke up( not even 24 hrs) with half the gel missing off one of my fingers!! They insisted that gel " lasts longer"! made an appointment the day before, went over prices . they said for SNS it's $35. the next day when I went they started filing down my nails, then the guy told the guy who was doing my moms nails that it was going to be $55. we told them that they said $35. one of the guys screamed in my moms face "you liar!". they are thieves. don't recommend what so ever. I came here today for a 1 hour foot reflexology massage.  The massage was very, very nice.  The HUGE problem was that one of the pedicurists had her two young sons in the shop.  She wasn't even working.  Very unprofessional.  They were naturally playful and loud.  Very cute boys.  But they were there the entire hour!  When I asked why there were children there the owner told me they were tourist's children!  I told her that I knew they were the pedicurist's boys, they were talking to their mom.   Very disappointed that she not only lied to me but did not seem sorry about my experience.  Will not recommend this place.  One star due to the owner's lack of concern and lying. Go elsewhere for 'reflexology'! Made an appointment the day before for myself and 2 girlfriends for reflexology. When we arrived for our 'appointments' the man at the counter asked what services we wanted. We told him we made appointments yesterday for 3 one-hour reflexology sessions. He never looked at his schedule book and it seemed obvious they do not take appointments seriously here. He went to the back and came back a couple minutes later stating he could only take 2 of us. After a couple minutes of back and forth confusion/broken English he went to the back again. This time coming back with 2 other men and myself and my 2 friends were ushered to chairs for 'reflexology'. All three of us had completely different 'treatments' (if they can be called that) of random back and leg rubbing and although we all started at the same time, I was done nearly 10 minutes before my friends. We all left completely unhappy, confused, covered in cuticle oil, and with stained blue feet from the foot soak. Reflexology can be a wonderful and therapeutic experience. This establishment is NOT trained in reflexology and merely uses the buzz word as a ploy to get you in the door so they can scrounge up whoever they can to provide your 'treatment' with no regard for appointments. I cannot speak to their other services, but I would not return here and I would definitely not recommend anyone go here looking for real reflexology! They got my money, don't waste yours! Sanitation from one client to the next was not good. Was not pleased with the outcome of my nails. They were not organized and my job was too rushed. AW-FUL! So bad wish I had read some of the reviews instead of going for convenience and a nice looking shop. A majority of the staff either don't speak English or just don't understand. There was literally pointing and grunting from my nail tech. All I wanted was a gel manicure with a repair to a short, broken nail and a pedicure. Secondly the pedicure was subpar, vary fast and somewhat painful.Third during the manicure (basic gel) I asked her not to file the top of my nails (which are naturally long cuz I take the time to remove all previous gel so the techs want have to) repeatedly until it was basically too late. Next on the repair nail for the broken nail, she filed one side at such a sharp angle it was completely off. I asked her not to file it anymore and that it needed to be fixed, made wider somehow, she didn't understand what I was saying and just kept at it until I pulled my hand away. At this point I had like 8 fingers painted and could just stop. A second tech came over added a huge glob of acrylic to the edge and made it super wide like a shovel (mine are coffin shape fyi). Then was able to squeeze in a manicure for my mom while we watched (even though we made appointments a week out). The man was so rude when my mom asked him to file her nails more, he actually sort of slapped the nail file on her hand because he was so pissed. I received an excellent walk-in manicure. The design and setup is really cute and modern. The lighting by the nail polish section was really dark so it was hard to see the colors. They weren't busy, but I felt like they were rushing us out of there. For $25 I feel like my basic manicure could've had a longer massage or warm water. Horrific. Made 6 appointments for pedis manis and massage for bachlorette party. Clearly this wasn't cheap. At least $100 per girl. We arrived and each girl was one by one picked every 20 to 30 minutes. My pedicure was started out by a man and finished by a woman. The woman was nice but did not speak a lick of English. The man had just put cuticle remover on my toes and she took over. She then reapplied the remover and rinsed my feet. As if it was going to push back my cuticle and nip the excess on it's own. She grabbed my feet out of the tub and drained the water. I had to ask her to use the scrubber and she laughed and passed it on my heel twice. Pedicure done. 10 minutes max. Unbelievable. I made an appointment at 1 pm. She didn't start till 3pm. I think her name was Kim. I told her while was doing them that they were bumpy and uneven and all different lengths. She ignored me and kept going. She obviously had never done acrylics before. She kept asking the other man there what to do. Three of the nails popped off and she had to redo it. One she messed up so bad that she cut my nail to nub and glued another on top. The website and menu there said that an acrylic full set was $35 but they added $20 more for some unknown charge. While visiting SLT shortly after New Years day, my wife booked a massage and myself a mani/pedi. Since this was not my first time visiting a nail salon, I was familiar with the routine. Upon arrival at the salon, the man at the reception seems confused as to what services we wanted, even though I clearly stated it on the phone. This situation created not a very welcoming and warm atmosphere that the interior of the shop suggested. The Pros:- Walking distance to most casinos.- Salon is nicely decorated.- There is music.- Lady who did my feet seemed experienced.- Was offered something to drink.The Cons:- My nail lady tried to up-sell me as soon as I sat in my chair, i.e. for buffing extra $5.- Staff not very friendly, talking too much amongst themselves in their native language and do not interact much with customers. - Staff appears disorganized and frantic with customer appointment times and services requested.- Older lady who did my finger nails seemed inexperienced and pushy with up-sell.My wife's massage was "interesting". I've been to other salons and have not experienced the same quality, kindness or care that I have been experiencing with Perfectly Polished for about 6 years now. I walked in this morning to find a nail salon for my bridal party of 4 girls for July 13th 2016 at 4pm. I walked into other places and walked right out because of how dirty they were or how rude people were. I didn't have time to get my nails done so my review is solely based on customer service and how pretty the salon is.  William greeted me immediately with a welcoming smile. The decor is classy and clean. You feel relaxed the second you walk in. Prices are reasonable. I was able to book my party 4 months in advance which really made me feel at ease especially because I live in Las Vegas and I've planed our entire wedding from another state and had a week in town to finalize details.  *I can't wait to update my review with pictures of our nails and tell you all about the experience!
