Because of the good reviews, thought I'd try out this place for the first time.  I honestly don't know how anyone could give it a 5 star review.1. Only 2 chairs and that means a wait.  Fortunately we called for a 5:30 appointment and said they could get us in at 6:15.  2.  One of the "massage" chairs was not really working.  One of the women said, they needed to get it fixed.3. I thought it was a law that every foot soaking bowl had to have a plastic cover on it AND the technicians had to have sterilized tools (wrapped in plastic) -- You won't get that at PERFECT NAILS.4. The woman said the nail polish I picked out for my toenails was too light and said I shouldn't use that color.  I went with her recommendation - NOT at all what I liked.5.  Neither technician hardly did any scrubbing of the bottoms of our feet and barely did any cleaning on them.6. I had a manicure and I had hangnails still on my nails after it was done. The only positive on the nails was that she used the color I WANTED.Paid $35 plus $5 tip (times 2 people) for a mani/pedi.  TOTALLY NOT WORTH IT.  I would not ever go back to this place and would NOT RECOMMEND this place at all.It didn't look clean, it wasn't pretty inside; not comfortable and when I get a service like this, I want to feel pampered...and at least a good chair massage.Both women seemed tired and as we were probably the last appointment, they seemed like they wanted to get it done and go home.What a waste of money. ...the ladies were very sweet and kind, but this was quite LITERALLY the WORST pedicure I have even had from ANYONE... an 8 year old could have done my nails better!... if I weren't in a hurry/determined to have a good day, I would have made a big deal about it... plus the massage chair was broken... do yourself a favor and do NOT waste ur money here!... don't say I didn't tell u so! I absolutely love this spot for a pedicure or mani/pedi! It is not an upscale salon, but I'm giving 5 stars for the best service, clean environment, sweet and kind people, extremely thorough and make sure you are happy, while treating you like a queen! I just took my mom for her birthday and she is in heaven, this is so relaxing, I think she may fall asleep! Lol! Yesssss! Success at relaxation and pampering her!!! And myself! Win, win! I didn't even want to break my mindful meditation to write this review, but it's just too good to not share!!! Reasonable prices with amazing people, yes, please and thank you!!! They have gel and acrylic and all that jazz too. Tea is available also. Hands down a 5 star experience every time I have been here and this is probably my 20th time in my Sebastopolian lifetime. If you are not happy with your nails, I read a review that someone was upset, they will fix whatever you are unhappy with. Had a great experience today on my first visit to Perfect Nails. Brought my 88 year old mother in law for her birthday for a manicure and of course while there i had to have a pedicure. Linda was so personable and professional with her skill, we both left with big smiles vowing to return soon. I have been going to this salon for many years. Linda is an awesome nail tech and also has a personal technique. She is great to talk to, very efficient and takes her time doing a perfect job. These girls are the best!  I've had my nails done at almost every salon ~ and only here can I say was the very best experience.  I love how they are able to do what most salons cannot, which is keep it real, as in not so god-awful thick and clunky... I can still work!Best place in the entire area to get your nails!Also they are pain-free, it was actually relaxing and enjoyable and I've never been happier with my nails, ever. Read Less

Worst gel manicure I have ever gotten. I came in and was the only customer. However, five minutes into my manicure a regular customer came in. I could tell she was a regular by how my lady was talking to her and knew a lot about her and wasn't talking to me. She sped through my manicure leaving streaks, bumps and I don't know what else do she could get to her regular customer. I will never be going back. Read Less

I love this place! Why? Because after all these years, Linda still puts up with my crazy nitpicking and ALWAYS manages to get me in. She is great with nails and even better at  listening and giving advice. I consider us friends...and to think it all started with just a fill. :) Do yourself a favor and give her a try. I went there to have a full set of tips and silk nails put on. I had taken off my old nails to make it easier for the manicurist. I had Linda do my nails. She is very nice but unfortunately she did a very poor job. She put one layer of silk on my nails with glue and nothing else. She nicked my cuticles three times with the scissors. Did not use resin to smooth out the top. Did not use a fine file or nail buffer to smooth out the glue. She did not use a base coat before applying the color nail polish. My nails were all bumpy, the polish was put on so fast it looked sloppy. The whole process took 40 minutes (faster then it should have) and cost $30. I wouldn't have thought twice about the cost if my nails  didn't look awful. I went home and took of the polish and proceeded to fix the mess myself  and re-polish correctly. I have been going to the Perfect Nail for years.  Linda and Shelia are such wonderful people.  I have always had an issue with the sides of my toes that hurt.  I go in with pain and come out pain free.  I am so pleased with how they take care of my Pedicure and Manicure.  They are exceptional people and have very kind and gentle spirits.Shelia always give me a leg massage after my pedicure and I always tip her generously she really does a good job.  People who complain about this salon in my opinion complain in general.
