I got a manicure ($12) from here the day before yesterday. The place seemed clean and was welcoming. They have a huge selection of colors however a lot of them are duplicates. I did notice some colors looked like they had been sitting a while. The manicure was just under “ok”. The manicurist while doing my cuticles actually cut me twice, obviously not on purpose but still. I had to ask them to even out some nails and do more coats of color which made me nervous. As soon as I got into my car and saw my nails in the sunshine I noticed that the paint was clearly uneven and thinner in some places (could be the polish too). I am so disappointed right now. I'm completely a drama queen when it comes to my nails and everyone knows it. I'm VERY particular with how I like my shape to look and also the color. Today I came to seaside and decided to get my nails done to get it out of the way and booked an appointment here at paradise... I was going for a lavender matte color on longggggg coffin nails.... here are my issues 1) it isn't long at all 2) is isn't even coffin 3) it is so uneven that the matte made it worse 4) I had to come back after paying because In the sun it looked 10x more uneven so I decided to just go with regular top coat and it still looks uneven, short, and not coffin. I had the worst customer service and results for a french tip/ acrylic nails. It was not busy and the lady named Sandy was in a hurry to leave. (I got there at 6p.m. and they close the salon at 7p.m.) Overall it was cheap but definitely would not recommend it or go back again! I understand that a Friday afternoon is bound to be busy but the quality shouldn't be downgraded. The lady that assisted me was in so much rush to help other people that she even recommended me to only get color and not the manicure. I always get charged $15 for a mani and gel color and she charged me $15 for just gel color. Not to mention she helped two other people while helping me. It's just wrong...  Half an hour later after I left the place I noticed that the gel was already lifting from my nail and she didn't even redo the nail that had missed a big chunk of color after I told her (she couldn't do it because she was already helping someone else..... I use to love coming here because of the color changing gel polish and they always did a great job. Just recently I went back to get a full set of gel acrylics and the lady who did my nails made them flat instead of the natural round shape nails should have. I have been to this salon twice. Each time I had about a ten minute wait to get my manicure started. But once they got to work, it was great. Both times the polish (not gel, just regular ole polish) lasted about 10 days! And I was not babying my hands. I only went in because they were on my way home (my normal salon had to close early and couldn't find my number to let me know to reschedule). Although I only needed a fill in I sat down and she began ripping my acrylics off, when I questioned it, she says I'll make them prettier- okay. I asked for a design on one nail- they told me it wouldn't be exactly like it -I'm fine with that, however the design    that was done looked nothing like what I had shown them and honestly I could have done a better job myself ( it was literally 4 lines that curved slightly compared to a small "s" shaped design I wanted) only 24 hours later, both my thumbs the color has faded extremely compared to other nails. After she finishes tells me I owe her about 28$ and I'm like okay, 5 mins later she returns telling me it'll actually be 40$ due to my " new full set". WILL NOT RETURN. I came in for a mani pedi and at first everything was going great. Service was fast and attentive. However, towards the end of my manicure, the manicurist left to begin someone else's pedicure. When my gel manicure was done she rubbed oil on my hands without washing her hands after touching that other woman's foot. First time doing a review & first time at this salon...Pros: my nails look poppin'!! I always get coffin and all my nails are shaped perfectly. I came in around 10am (walk in). It was empty when I got there so no wait at all, which I'm glad. Vicky did my full set and was tentative. She was kind and helpful being I am really picky.Cons: after I said no gel, she continually kept asking me to do gel. I personally do not like gel, I like changing my color before my next fill. Also, there is acrylic residue all around my nails. I got cut a couple of times and I left with my finger tips burning (I'll have to google why? A couple of weeks I went to Paradise to get a pedicure. The pedicure was great. But when the woman was finished, by left-big toe was painful. I thought it was because the woman dug to deep, when cleaning my toe. But after she was finished, she used the tool to take the cover off of the drain. That made me very nervous. The pain has still not gone away. Three days ago green puss accumulated. Today it started to ooze out. I now have antibiotic ointment on my toe. I plan on contacting Paradise Nails and the Health Department. Read Less

This is a great local salon for the price. It's not a fancy place, but it works!! I usually get a mani-pedi which can be as little as $40. If you want it to last longer, pay more and get the gel polish! I just got a french tip pedicure and it turned out really nice. The staff is friendly and polite. They will Make an appointment, or you can walk in if you don't mind waiting a few minutes. Get the paraffin wax treatment on your feet during your pedicure!! It's worth it!! Read Less

I was in a rush, only had an hour before I had to be at an appointment in Carmel, and they were able to take the gel off my hands and repaint in 45 minutes which is pretty good for not having an appointment. I'm not sure if they sensed I was in a rush because they only cut and filed and did not clean my cuticles, but for $18 it was well worth it. They did exactly what I wanted for my 4th of July nails. My gel overlay nails chipped in less than a week. The woman was frustrated with me because I actually told her what I wanted as far as color and shape..which still didn't turn out right. She stopped doing my nails and went into the next customer and then another woman continued mine. My nails were extremely bumpy after the fill...I was not at all happy. Not to mention, she sliced me with her frkn power tool a couple of times and then decides to apply some of her shit nail gel which burned the crap out of me.This great experience for 30 dollars! Tina and Mai (MY) the owners are soo sweet, attentive and kind. They have hundreds of gel polish colors, more selection than any other salon. They do a great job. If you want your nails done with gel a color change is cheaper than a gel manicure. If you mess up a nail within 3 days they will fix it free of charge. They do a good job with waxing also. So I'm new to the area and needed a fill bad. Plus I've been getting my nails done off and on for 15 yrs. Since I live closer to this nail salon and plus the reviews looked inviting...I choose too come here. I was a walk in both times. The first it was in the late afternoon they were really busy. The second time I came in...since I decided to give them a second try was slow. I waited both times almost an hour for the first. Anyways make an appointment every time because walk ins will take for ever! Plus they rush on your nails and don't file down the edges of the acrylic good at all. Maybe it depends on who does them but I had a guy do them...not the owner. I also had acrylic residue on my fingers. Very thorough with the attention to detail and the massage. My toes dried in decent time so I'm not suspicious of watered-down polish. Not near the best pedi I've had in this area but on par with Magic Nails at Del Monte Center; main difference is the pedi here is only $20! Don't bother getting your eyebrows done here unless your eyebrows are perfect. Mine were crooked and I think the lady here may have made them worse instead of fixing them. I moved to the peninsula about a year and a half ago and, since I've been here, I've tried several nail salons. This is by far the best one I've been able to find. The prices are very reasonable, the staff is friendly, and they've always done a good job. They accept credit/debit cards but are very appreciative if you bring cash instead. Amazing! The prices are good and the service can't be beat. The staff is friendly and really know their stuff. I've been to nail salons where all the staff did was talk to each other and ignore the customers; I did not experience that here. I got a mani/pedi. My mani was done in a neutral, skin tone complimenting shade that is acceptable to wear in uniform and am very satisfied. My pedi was great too. I love the flower design! My feet are super ticklish and I couldn't stand having my feet exfoliated with the sponge. The last (and only) time I got a pedicure the person doing it (different place) insisted on trying to complete this step and got frustrated when I asked him to skip it. They ladies in here are sweet, they pay attention and have been making sure their customers are all taken care of this busy holiday season. I go there for pink and white refills. I've been to a couple of other places in town and Paradise Nails has become "my nail place". Their prices are on-par with their competitors but their quality is much better. I am a perfectionist and don't like looking at messy nails for two weeks so attention to detail is very important to me. And so, I happily get my nails done there. Read Less
