I absolutely love Lynn! She does such an amazing job! There are very few nail salons that can make you feel right at home, but she does exactly that! Every time I make an appointment it's like I'm going in to see my aunt more than just going to get my nails done. But she does such a fantastic job with both! I told her what I do for work, and she told me I needed something elegant and professional, and she gave me exactly that at a perfect length. When I wanted to get my eyebrows waxed instead of taking my money to get it done, she told me to let them grow out and come back in a few weeks. I've now been to several nail salons and have had enough basic pedis to feel comfortable suggesting this place. Now considering what a 15 to 25 dollar pedi buys...this is easily the best value. Most places soak your feet, use some cuticle oil on the toes...push back the cuticles and remove the excess...trim your nails and give a quick massage. Done. Well, unless you opt for nail polish...which for now is something I'm not planning (though,enough nail techs keep suggesting it as well as some female friends...though I'm certain they just want the laugh!), but I digress. So, not only does Sunshine do all the above, but they definitely use clean (make that sterile) tools on your feet...plus their massage is much improved by the fact that they are not afraid of actually making skin to skin contact! Most places the Techs keep their disposable gloves on while doing the massage, which doesn't feel as good...especially when rubber gloves yank leg hair and you feel like you're getting a waxing treatment, (well, maybe this is an issue for us guys).  Anyway, long gone are the days of the total spa pedicure...where they actually file feet completely smooth, file and shape the nails completely, use sloughing lotion to remove dead skin from the knee down...and the foot/leg massage is a real reflexology treatment...of course this did cost more. But for the quality of service and the price, Sunshine is great!Give them a try... Read Less

I'm definitely not a regular at getting pedicures, and I'm new to Seaside so I thought I'd try Sunshine Salon based on the other reviews all giving them 5 stars. I was a little disappointed. There was one lady getting a manicure when I walked in and no other customers, so they weren't busy. The shop was clean and the massage chair was nice. The pedicure seemed shorter and not as thorough as other salons I've been to. Although she was very nice, the lady doing my nails did not speak English at all, so I don't think it was Lynn. She didn't use toe separators when she painted my nails. The nails turned out ok. The cost was $20. I'd say it wasn't the worst pedi I've had done, but it also wasn't the best. While on girls vacation in Seaside, we decided we wanted to get manis and pedis.  We looked up places on yelp and based on the reviews, we picked Sunshine Nails.The reviews were spot on.  Everyone who works there was super friendly and very funny (we had quite a few laughs over the massaging chairs!).  I got one of the best gel manicures (by Lynn) I've ever had, and a decent pedicure also.  The prices were not outrageous and actually quite affordable.  This will be my go-to place when I visit.  Great saloon, great location with decent parking, and great staff!
