I actually spend money on my pedicure. I get the Hollywood pedicure. Happy feet is in the description. I get gel polish which last over a month in boots. Ofcourse if you pay for something cheap you're going to get something cheap. Invest im your feet ladies its well worth it. About the customer service reviews. First time trying to get a pedicure here...What a horrible place. Walked in and asked how long till I could get a pedicure and was told about 10 minutes. About 15 min later a lady came in after me (specifically said she didn't an apt) and one of the workers said she could see her in about 10 min. About 10 minutes later the lady is being seated with no cares that I was there first. No explanation from the staff. Walked to the counter and no one says a thing to me. Moving here from the east coast had me worried about where I was going to find a quality nail salon. After some searching I found the BEST salon I've ever been to and now I love coming to glow! The staff was very friendly and made everything move along with ease. BUT I got a mani that didn't even last 24 hours before it started to chip. Still less than 48 hours after and it's chipped so bad I have to remove it before vacation (which was the purpose of getting it). I paid for a mani with massage that was actually only rubbing lotion on my forearms and putting a warm towel over my hands. I also got a pedi and still have dry spots/skin on my feet. From the moment I walked in the door the techician was very nice and professional. The establishment was clean and the decor was so relaxing. Enjoyed my hour long pedicure which inclueded a green tea scrub hot towel treatment while listening to soft rock! Manicure was nice and I love ALL the natural ingredients the use. I loved my experience at Glow! I called after noon to make an appointment and they were able to fit me in this evening. I received a regular pedicure and gel manicure which were both great. They have an excellent selection of normal and gel polishes. I could immediately tell that cleanliness is a top priority at Glow. They even wiped down the chair with Lysol wipes before I sat down. The staff was very friendly and engaging. They asked for my birthday to add to my account information and gave me an extra 10% off since my birthday is in a few days! Absolutely will not be going back here. Service was horrible. Prices are ridiculous. Charge extra for things that should be included with the service. Product is really cheap. Lady cut me multiple time didn't say sorry or clean off blood b4 continuing to use tools, nail polish, ect. Very unsanitary!!! Do not waste time or money here. Normally I don't mind paying extra for better service and quality of products. But when the products are cheap and over priced. And they rush thru your service, its not very relaxing .. I would give them no stars if I could. This place is far from spa like. The employees were loud and running up and down in front of the spa chairs. At one point employees were wrestling in the back area. One woman that worked there was loudly singing and it was like a scene from the American idol try outs. My friend and I came here for a much needed spa day. We went all out, including gel polish on my nails and both her nails a toes. Within a week it was peeling off my nails! I was able to just pull it straight off all my nails. I've had gel polish before and I know this is not supposed to happen. The polish didn't even go to my cuticles either, so I had this strip of unpainted nail right next to my cuticle. I know the polish on my friends nails started peeling, I don't know about her toes. Just recently moved to Crest and was in need of a pedicure very badly.  I came to Santee Trolley Center because I Love to Shop there.  After getting my daily Starbucks fix I decided to try this place out.  They are under new ownership and there name is different now...Star Nails.  I was greeted with a friendly hello and ask for a pedi.  It was a very relaxing and amazing.  Qyuen did my pedicure and she was as sweet as could be.  I didn't know you could not put the tip on credit card.  She wasn't worried about it...I felt bad so I am going back today to tip Qyuen.  I am going to let them do my nails and see how well they follow my instructions on how I like my nail...thin and natural.  I was given a guarantee if I didn't like them to come back and they will fix them for free.  I will be back to review them after the fact.Tips:  CASH ONLY Read Less

I am 100% loyal to them! and I live in mission valley lol TINA who has done my manis/pedis for about 2 years is AMAZING :) she is so sweet and nice and always asks me about my day and remembers past conversations that we have had. This nail salon is ok, it could use some improvements though. First, when i got acrylic nails done it caused me a but of pain. I'm guessing the woman doing my nails was learning, because she gave me little cuts on two of my fingers from the electric filer ( I didn't receive an apology) and didn't completely even my nails. The result overall was decent, they look professionally done, but yet had a few flaws. Another issue I found was that they set timers on your pedicure, which is understandable for a busy day with many appointments to fit in, but not helpful to your relaxation. Timers constantly go off and ruin the relaxing atmosphere as well as make u feel like your not receiving individual attention to your foot massage. What I love about this nail salon though is that everyone there is very friendly. I believe they recently got a new owner so there are some new faces, but all employees are wonderful and do a very nice job on your manicure/pedicure. Also, for being a nail salon there isn't an overwhelming smell of nail polish an acetone, which is wonderful. They each have a different way of making flowers which I find a great unique amazement that you can get something different than the classic little daisy flower. Horrible! i had a some time to myself on a saturday and decided to ignore the reviews and give them a try. Worst idea ever. Very Very over priced for the job they do. I asked for a spa pedicure and she set a timer! I have never been treated so badly in a salon. I was there to relax and have me time and instead broke the bank for a CRAPPY pedicure. So I decided to go here after shopping at Target for a quick eye brow wax.  All I needed was a quick clean one.  Requested for not thin.  Repeated it a few times.  Somehow the lady thought I meant thin when I said not thin.  Because at the end I ended up with super thin eyebrows.  Other time which should have been my lesson that this place doesnt listen is went in for a pedi/mani.  Wanted to do it seperate but they decided to do it at the same time.  So if you want someone to listen to what you want since you are spending money here dont recommend coming here. This is THE WORST place to get your nails done!!! I went in to get a quick inexpensive manicure--it wasn't even worth the $10 I paid for it! The girl quickly, and in a very rough way, did my nails and tried to up sell me throughout. I kept telling her no and she kept getting bitchier and bitchier. She finished my nails very quickly and then left me to sit there and blow dry them by blowing on them. She never came back to check on them after she took my debit card and charged it (which she did before she finished once she learned she couldnt upsell me and then hurried and did a SHITTY job of finishing up). As soon as I walked out of the store I noticed that she didnt get the edges of my nails and within 20 minutes the nail polish on two of my nails completely smudged because she put on such shitty, thick nail polish. And to top it all off, this place is filthy and you know the women in there are talking shit about their customers in another language!This place is not worth paying even $1 to get your nails done!! A chop shop.Crowded, loud, not sanitary.facials there SUCK.  A typical steam and cream, leave the room 6 or 10 times facial.  Bad, loud crappy spa music.  The back door is always open and you can hear the sounds of the street and smell the cigarette smoke from the workers that poke out for a smoke break between clients. Upsell, upsell, upsell.  Flowers, jewels, paraffin (which has a thick layer of grey dead skin cells and sludge at the bottom- ew).  They talk to each other and not to the client.Pass!! Read Less
