Awful experience twice!! Called and scheduled my husband a massage several weeks ago, they scheduled the massage under the wrong person so when they called to confirm apt the person of course said no they didn't have an apt. All manager said was sorry. Gave them another try...both times we were quoted one price for massage. This was probably just the technician who helped me, but my experience was awful. She didn't speak one word of English, which wouldn't have been such a big issue if she hadn't hurt me several times. The inability to communicate paired with her inexperience was a bad combination. I will stick to the salon in the College Area I usually go to. Read Less

LOVE coming here! Amy and Diane are amazing. My nails always look great, pedicures are so relaxing, and everyone is so sweet and personable. The price is great and I never have to wait very long. I get my nails done every 2 weeks and my polish never chips or lifts. I have 2 kids and work full time so I'm definitely active with my hands. I love that they have matching gel and regular polish from the same manufacturer so I can get my gel manicure and regular pedicure without having to try to match the color! Read Less

Finding the "right" stylist is up there with finding your kids' pediatrician when you move.. It took a few "wrong" stylists at different locations before I found Sarah and J Bentley. She is fantastic. She actually LISTENS to what you want (and what you are willing to do or not do for upkeep) For those of us no in our 20s... as cute as your hairstyles all are, they don't quite cut it on us non-20 year old. Sarah makes sure I look FANTASTIC when I walk out that door. not 20.. but like i'm the best I could possibly be. Plus it's fun to talk to her about immediate styles for that trip.. as well as plan out "next summer" highlight plans, etc. ie. I can hardly wait to try out platinum (over several stages) next year. This salon is amazing! Diane did my nails and they came out perfect. I really like this place because the staff is always so sweet and they have like 300 different gel colors to choose from.  They have some kind of mood change color and glow in the dark colors too.  They also have a huge selection of  chrome colors which I liked.  The service is always great and they always take extra time to make sure my nails come out exactly how I like.  I'll never go anywhere else now. Love it here! Audi does my hair and she is always ready to do something fun when ilI want to or just a touch up. Her color abilities are pretty awesome too. Also the spray tan, so good! I have been using Dana to cut my hair for at least 20 years. I followed her through two other shops. She is amazing!  As a man I was a little intimidated by going to what might be perceived as a woman's shop, but she does an amazing job every time and I wont go anywhere else.  She was out once when I needed a haircut immediately because I was having photos taken which would be used for publicity for at least the next year, so I went next door to Supercuts. HUGE mistake!  That women paid no attention to what I wanted, and just did the standard Supercuts routine. Hated it.Dana takes her time, is extremely experienced, and always goes the extra mile.  If you are looking for someone who will look at you as an individual and provide the cut you want, every time, I would highly recommend Dana at Santee Hair and Nails. I loved the facility and the girl that did my nails was very sweet and talkative. I went with a group of girls for my friends wedding. However, I got the express manicure with the shallac and it was quite possibly the worst manicure I've ever had. Usually when I get gel polish it will stay for at least a couple weeks. This stuff stayed for 2 days! And the lady didn't clean up my cuticles and the polish was really high up on my nail. It was not anything short of what I could have done at home for a lot less money. If it wasn't so far away from my house I would have driven back for a refund. Read Less

I just have to tell you how much I LOVE my hair. Jessi is absolutely amazing and listens. My hair has never looked better. I've been highlighting my hair for at least 20 years and I have to say this is the best color to date. We did something different this time and I'm SO glad Jessi suggested it. Love love it! Jessi is awesome picked great products, showed me how to style my hair (I always just slap it in a ponytail) but have been wearing it down a lot more since my first appointment with Jessi back in November. I had an appointment scheduled for 6:15. I fought through Lewis Center and Powell traffic to get there on time only to find out that my stylist called off. I get it, people get sick, but no one bothered to let me know. I asked if they could get me in with someone else and honor the price that was quoted to me by my stylist. They said they could not. It would be 40% more. What happened to customer service? They could've easily owned their mistake and made this situation right but they chose not to. I wont be returning. Read Less

I had been thinking about a faux hawk style for a while, but I was set to get married in Sept(2014), so I left my hair alone. After the wedding I cut it to my chin in an asymmetrical bob. It was okay and looked cute, but after a while I got board and really started wanting the shorter do. I had driven by JBentley for years and finally decided to make an appt with LeAnn. I have to have an emotional connection with my stylist and I definitely had a connection with LeAnn! She h...as many years of experience and from the moment I met her, I knew I was in great hands. She was upfront, honest and really helped me with my decision to try something new. I went from shoulder length to pixie/faux hawk length and after she started cutting... I started to panic. LeAnn reassured me to give it 48 hrs to get over the shock. I will admit, I was in shock and couldn't help by cry when I got home. It was a HUGE change! I took her advice and fell in love with my cut. Here it is 2weeks later and I felt I gave it enough time, the back was a tad too thick for me. I sent an email and got a quick response asking me to choose a day. I set the appointment and LeAnn was happy to thin the back out for me.
