Went in real quick for a polish change since I live right down the street. The cost was $9 and because I declined a pedicure I got the feeling it was going to be a shitty job. I didn't want to start an argument especially when I'm not sure what is being said behind my back so I just left and won't be returning. This is two days after getting my nails done. The paint job is really bad, the tie dye color is NOT supposed to be there, it was supposed to be just a nude color. Will not be coming back to this business, they advertise that walk-ins are welcome, but the woman who received me, I believe her name is Tiffany, COMPLETELY dismissed me. All I asked was for a pedicure and she rudely responded "No we can't take you." She didn't ask me to wait 15 minutes or anything, this was at 5, and the business doesn't close until 7. This review is mainly for Natalie. She is absolutely amazing. Best nail technician I have ever had and I have tried countless nail salons from Mission Valley to Alpine. I showed her a picture and explained the shape, length, and color I wanted. She nailed it!! Better than I could have hoped for. It's been two days since and I cannot stop staring at my own hands. In addition to her excellent skill and work, Natalie was also very sweet and knowledgeable. The shop seems nice as a whole. Very clean. Plenty of parking. The woman that did my nails wrote the information down incorrectly so she had scheduled a shorter time initially but was able to fix it. However, she spent the entire time making rude comments to and about me! Very uncomfortable, if I wanted to be insulted nonstop I could get it for free by angry customers. I originally left a good review and even recommended the nail technician... Tiffany, but not anymore! I was just there less than a week ago and already my nail has lifted and I was able to just lift it all completely off. She was a nice lady, but to find out now, that after a week of getting a full set from them and this is happening... I won't be back! This has to be the best nail salons I have visited in years. The most impressive concept of their business is....... if you have an appointment they are always on time and they are quick. If you don't have a appointment you may not be seen. Most places will take a walk in and bump the appointment but not here. A great business to visit and the quality is great. Read Less

This place is horrible and I will never go back! First I went for a fill, where the gel polish immediately started to chip away. Next, my thumb nails were two different sizes. Lastly, I made the mistake of going back to have my set taken off, because they were so chipped and one even broke off. When I asked for them to be removed, they tossed me around and the one who finally agreed to do it was very rough with my nails! She used clippers to pull them off without soaking my nails first. Have you seen the Anjelah Johnson skit where she gets her nails done and the her nail technician is talking shit about her while she's getting her nails done? I came in to treat myself to a mani/pedi because I haven't had time to do anything nice for myself because I have been so busy tending to my 7month old son. I called ahead and they said to come right in, I was seated promptly in a massage chair and the lady started working on my feet. I didn't catch her name but she was wearing glasses (black with blue frames). She mumbled under her breath in Vietnamese that I had gross feet. Yes- maybe my feet weren't in the best shape but that's why I came in to get a pedicure ! I let that slide because it was just one comment and apparently she had no idea that I AM VIETNAMESE! She then proceeded to keep talking shit about the design I wanted for my manicure- how my manicurist should charge me $10 more for a simple design, how she was getting all the $30 pedicures. She asked me about my lashes in English and how much they costs.. then you guessed it! She started talking shit again in Vietnamese and said I paid too much for them and how easy it is to do lashes etc, etc. she was really just a complete and utter bitch!My manicure nail tech Natalie  was wonderful. I'd give her 5 stars. She did a great job and I'd be happy to have her do my nails in the future but unfortunately due to the other rude, condescending, uneducated nail lady I will never return to this establishment. Been contemplating getting my nails done because I'm lazy and the keep up gets old after sometime. I'm happy that I came in this morning, there was one other customer in there- perfect timing. I was helped right away by Tiffany. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she did just that. I am happy with my nails! I  I'll be back to get this filled! My favorite nail salon to go to! I've been going here for many years and it's not like typical nail salons you go to and for the better. The salon is owned and run by 3 sisters so they don't try to steal customers from each other and they don't gossip to one another. I do like when specifically Tiffany does my nails but they all take their time on your nails and have no problem fixing it if you don't like it. I also think they have really good pricing. My daughter and I visit these ladies whenever we can. Tiffany is the fastest acrylic nail tech I have ever had, and they are perfect, no bubbles or chips. Nicole does my daughters gel polish, with designs and patience as my daughter is DD. Some of my daughters other friends see them also. They are funny, when I first went Tiffany was a little rough...I told her I was a delicate creature...we laughed and she is very good. (I am a bit over sensitive). She always squeezes me in at the last minute, I am not good at appointments. When there are other ladies in the shop there is always laughing and jokes. I would not recommend seeing the owner, Mimi.  I would have preferred to stay home and not wasted my time being talked to so poorly. Mimi talked to me as if I murdered her son.  I smiled in the salon to everyone, no one greets me or says anything such as we will be with your shortly, they just asked what are you here for.Then when I came over I took out several bottles to ask how I could remove the nail polish that was on the bottles.  I told her none of the bottle tops were loose but that this manicurist always does this.  She said maybe it's the metal when I had a nail kit with my professional tools,  was completely plastic.  Then she said "Use Acetone,  I don't know why it's happening."Then she said "You have a store full of nail polishes, which one are we using.  I had brought out 3 or 4 bottles to show how it got on all of them, one Nailtique, 1 top coat and 2 colors.  She wasn't near to putting nail polish on, she hadn't even started or ask me about the tools I bought.. When I put the 1 color bottle out with Nailtique and top coat that are all mine, she still was complaining about it as if she hadn't heard me say these 3.  I am not her daughter or son that she can just go off or something that doesn't even matter.  I am a customer.  I could've come in after that if I was treated correctly.I was there to relax since I have a very stressful job. So I got up and told her this is working for me.  She said It's a communication issue. Yeah, you are communicating in a way this is completely inappropriate.  I don't understand how all this asian manicurists can come to America and get trained on how to do nails but never get trained on how to have good communication skills.  They don't know how to apologize or how to correct something that is upsetting a customer.   When I asked who the owner was, Mimi said it's me but none of the other employees say anything when I'm talking to them.Looks like there are other similar complaints (Erika T on 9/12/16) a few days ago.  Maybe Mimi needs something for PMS or something for her attitude like antidepressants. I came here to get gel nails. I hadn't had nail in 3 years so I was very excited. I wanted to get gel nails with a design. I showed her online pictures of what I wanted and she said she couldn't do that.it was a very basic design that I had done before. She was very argumentative and rude. She flat rated the job and my nails weren't even filed straight. They don't like doing designs because they feel it's a waste of time for the extra 5 bucks they make. I won't be back. Read Less

I usually never get my nails done. This is the second time I have ever had them done and I am glad I got them done here!I went with my sister, her boyfriend and my brother. We wanted 2 manicures and 1 pedicure. At first they said there was no time and that they can only do one of us, but they eventually let us all go.I'm very indecisive and had no idea what I wanted for my nails. at first I was just going to do a regular red nail polish with glitter, then the lady suggested gel and I said, why not? So I went with gel with little confetti designs. She was very fast, got done in about 20min. Wonderful service, great atmosphere, very calming. I cannot wait to come back and pick a new design! Just got my toes done by Nicole, had the gel polish done. I like how they look.I'm really anal about how they look when I pay to get them done.. I thought the gal was nice and all...
