I just moved to Santa Rosa and I needed a new nail salon. I absolutely loved my first visit at Today's Nails! Yen is so sweet and she did an amazing job on my nails. A few times a year I come up to Northern CA to visit family with my sister and this time we were on the hunt for a good nail place. Checking yelp for all the top places Today's Nails was the only one that had good reviews and was willing to fit us in on a busy Friday. My sister and I were very pleasantly surprised!! All the staff was friendly, the atmosphere is upscale and relaxing, and my the prices are great! I got a gel manicure that was fantastic and the attention to detail was wonderful (I'm a detail freak so I loved that they were so attentive!). My sister got a gel manicure and pedicure and enjoyed it very much! The chairs are lovely with beautiful hammered tubs for feet soaking and they have a gorgeous mirrored ceiling (very Art Deco, loved it!!) Overall our experience was wonderful and we're definitely found our new out of town spot for nails in Northern CA. Highly recommend! Read Less

I love Today's nails!  I found them 4 or 5 years ago, and its been my place ever since!  Tammy does a phenomenal job each time.  When I want a design because I am off on vacation, my big toes are adorned with sparkly flowers that look perfect, and her foot massages are fabulous.  If Tammy's not in, I am always comfortable with Daisy, Kim or Van, as they are all really, really, skilled.  Try the Natural if you have time, which is an upgrade with great products, that leaves your feet baby soft.  Its a great family environment, and a relaxing time every time, and I always leave with fabulous looking nails. Nail OCD heaven! I'm called same day,( they answered even before posted hours) and got me in right away. AMAZING! The whole family is so sweet.  They have never let me down.  I always get the natural pedicure.  They take their time and it doesn't feel rushed at all (very important to me, I'm rushed all through life, I want to just enjoy something!)  My feet feel like a new born babys when I leave.  Totally rejuvenated :)  Also, I usually walk in at about 6pm during the week and have no issues getting in.  however, if you want something done on the weekend, try and make an appointment. I would give it 0 stars if I could. They filed my nails so short that t burned to put it into the uv lamp. Then the polish is completely uneven, all around my fingers and cuticles, and at the end they filed it even more making it look horrible. I'm so unhappy with this place and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I trusted them with my nails before my birthday and they did the biggest crap of a job and I have tried many places all around the Bay Area and had some bad experiences but this gel manicure was the worst. Highly recommend this place! I'm used to going to high end salons that charge a lot of money and never have availability. Once again I couldn't get in to get my nails done, even with over a weeks notice. I found this place on Yelp and thought I'd give it a go. I called and they got me in right away, they only problem was I had my 3 year old with me but the woman on the phone said that it would be no problem to bring her.I walked in and everyone greeted me with a smile and woman, Kim, invited me in and showed me a nice spot where I could get my daughter set up to eat lunch and watch her movie. Kim did a phenomenal job on my nails. I got pink and white gels with a little sparkle on top. I'm very picky about my nails being uniform in size and shape and I can honestly say they turned out perfect! When I was done she told Penelope that she was going to paint her nails for being such a good girl. Kim was busy and her next appointment had shown up early but she took the time to go out of her way and make my daughter feel special (and she didn't charge me for it either). Wow, talk about great customer service! This place is clean, they use American products, the staff is super friendly and they price was more than reasonable. Wonderful family owned nail salon. I always leave with a perfect manicure and pedicure. They have five new massage chairs and one little butterfly chair for the younger customers. The salon also has four other traditional stations for manicures. I almost never have to wait but call ahead if you're pressed for time. Daisy has been doing my nails for years, along with her mom and other family members. They are kind and always remember you, even if it's been a while. Today's Nails does gel, spa and traditional mani/pedis in addition to waxing. There's parking in the  back if you enter on 5th street, free on Sundays. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby on 4th if you want to get lunch or dinner afterwards. Read Less

I so enjoyed getting my nails done here!!!  I did a gel manicure and polish change pedi for $35. These ladies took such good care of my natural nails and didn't turn me away because I had no appointment. The hand and foot massage was gentile yet effective. I recommend coming here if you are a sensitive to pressure and experience their collective light touch for yourself!!!I'm excited to return for my next color chapter of my nails' story in a few weeks!
