This was hands down the WORST PEDICURE I have ever received. I went with my mother (who for some reason likes this place... I think it's because she's never experienced what a pedicure should feel like). I was seated at the first chair (oh all the chairs are at an angle so you cannot talk to whomever you go with without krinking your neck) where there was no water. Finally a man came out... No introduction... No hello how are you... ZERO.. and filled up the tub... The water got to my ankles, he turned it off..And then grabbed my right foot out and dried it off .. then my left foot... And I'm not kidding that was the last time I saw the water. He then proceeded to trim my nails (later resulting in an ingrown nail) and took ONE PUMP of lotion.. rubbed it on my calf and another ONE PUMP on my foot. Total massage.. LESS THAN TWO MINUTES. Then he painted my toes... (Which it's been about 4 days and they are all chipping) and that was it. Total time... 16 minutes. And then wanted $20. He got the $20 and ZERO TIP. Ohhhh and I'm 34 weeks pregnant with twins.. so yeah.... Was really looking forward to a nice RELAXING massage.I fixed it by going to Jessie Jings and receiving the best massage of my life. I absolutely love this place. I've been looking for a great place for over a year. When I walked in for the first time it was for convenience of location. But now I go back because of the quality, price and customer service. The first time I went they were closing and he still took the time to do the job right. He stayed open an hour late. We called them and said do you have time for 3 people and they said yes and we said okay than is 1:00 good and they said yes So we walked in and they sat down my 2 daughters and started doing them then they started working on my sister and it was very bad they were rushing and doing a bad job it was just terrible . Good prices,  sweet women, decent manicure by one, and HORRENDOUSLY  TERRIBLE Pedicure by another. After seeing my hacked to bits toe nails ( when she was completely finished with the pedi) I asked the woman to please smooth out the jagged nail edges however  she made it much worst by sawing/filing flat on an overcut edge thinning it down even further until I pulled my foot away to stop her ( and it hurt!) My guess is ( judging  by the entire pedi- bad technique, lousy massage) that she  may not have been an actual practitioner. I say this because if she were, and she feels this kind of work is acceptable she would not be employed. I won't go back. Read Less

We renamed this place Saigon Nail Fungus. If you stay after you walk in, and look around, it's your own fault. Dirty, smelly, and just not sanitary. My daughter had her toe nails done, and got a nail fungus from it, which took months to clear. Read Less

I am so happy to have found Saigon Nails. I've had so many unpleasant experiences in many of the places I have tried over the years.  I have driven past Saigon Nails many times and today, since it was a Saturday, I decided to stop in because it is a smaller place and I hoped - not all booked up. I loved my experience there. Inside it is very pleasant and feels peaceful. An amazingly wonderful woman named Thuy ( I think that is the spelling but pronounced Twee ) greeted me and did a fabulous job but even more importantly, because of her delightful and friendly personality, made me feel so welcome, comfortable and at ease.  Moreover, all of the other people - customers and personelle alike also seemed so gentle and kind. Was I dreaming?It is true that the decor is not super posh but it is sweet, pleasant and clean & to me that is much more important. I have been to some other Salons that have splashy decor and fast but poor service. As long as I am in Santa Rosa this will remain my choice for a manicure and pedicure. Last thing I will mention is that the prices are reasonable.... Highly recommended!!!! Read Less

I live in Novato but now commute to Santa Rosa alot. I desperately needed a mani/pedi for an event. I found Saigon Nails thru Yelp. I called and was able to get an appointment a half hour later on a busy Saturday. Thuy gave me an impeccable manicure and pedicure as well as being so delightfully sweet. What a find! I was a walk-in and was seen within 10 minutes. The lady was super friendly and didn't care that I brought in my own foot soak and leg scrub. Nails looked great afterwards too. $20 pedicure and $5 design charge.  I have it only 4 stars because the decor lacks. Read Less

i am hard on my nails and Thuy gives the best manicure ever...I have silk wrap nails and they easily lat me two weeks,sometimes three without a break. Reasonableprices, quick appointments, very pleasant. Read Less

I was in the area and needed a manicure so had them done at Little Saigon. I asked her to cut my cuticles really well, which she did not. They looked horrible! The polish job was terrible. I wouldn't go back to this place even if it were free! I had to go to my regular place 4 days later to have them manicured again! NO SANITIZATION DONE BETWEEN CLIENTS!!!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!This was  my first time at Saigon Nails.  I went tor a manicure and pedicure.  I understand that if the pedi tubs and/or tools are not sanitized properly, there is great chance of infection from previous clients.  I specifically asked about the tubs and the owner's wife (I think that is who she was) brushed me off and in a loud voice I did not understand, gave the impression that it was not a problem.  She does speak VERY loudly - too loudly.  The woman who did my mani/pedi was nice and competent.  I suggested that I pay before I had my nails done so that tacky nails wouldn't be an issue, and she said it would be $30.00.  I asked if they took a credit card and she said yes and asked how much she should put on the card.  I said $30.00, to which she replied "No Tip?"  I was kind of taken aback but assured her that I had cash for the tip.  I felt that it was rude of her to ask for a tip, after all, she had not even completed the service yet.THE WORST PART:  As I sat there having my nails finished (and drying) the manicurist drew the water for the next client in the same tub she had used for me and IT HAD NOT BEEN CLEANSED other than a rinse which she did while my feet were still in it!!  She proceeded with the other client's pedi and then while her feet were soaking, came to ask me if I would like her to help me with putting my shoes and socks on (which was nice) BUT.... she took the disposable flip flops and the toe separators and put them back in the cellophane for another client to RE-USE!!!!!  I was appalled and will NEVER return.Note: not that I feel I have anything hygienically unhelathy to share with the next client, but NO MATTER WHAT.... ALL ITEMS SHOULD BE PROPERLY CLEANED AND SANITIZED in-between clients.  I was not able to see if she cleaned any of the tools, but I'm seriously doubting that anything more than a rinse might have been done. I went there to get my nails done after work. I called to make sure they would be open and when I got there, I stood there for five minutes before someone said something to me. When I asked for what I wanted done they told me they didn't have time. Okay so they were to be open for another hour and a half bit they didn't have time to do my nails. Don't go there! I love this place!  The strip mall exterior is misleading.  I went in after doing a yelp search and seeing they were highly rated. I wanted some tuxedos painted on my nails for a black tie event and they did an incredible job (I will try to add a picture if I can figure out how).  Super cute for a wedding or prom.  Twee and Ann were very friendly and they spent a long time on my manicure.  It was cheap for the amount of time they spent.  I will definitely be back! I had a great experience with them. She did a great job with my toes. I also had waxing done with my face. at first I'm kinda skeptical to do it, she made me comfortable and i must say she did a great job again. What i liked about it, is i only have a card to pay for the services and they said they don't have the machine to do it. so asked if i could go to the bank real quick and she said its fine and she trusted me. how cool is that?
