2 stars because I was able to walk in without an appointment for a pedicure on Christmas Eve. That was the highlight of my visit here. My pedicure lasted less than 15 minutes, including soak and polish. Polish job was quick and sloppy. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing treatment- this is not your place. Worst gel manicure I've ever gotten. He filed my nails super short without even asking.  Made my cuticles bleed.  And then when I asked to have the polish cleaned up off my skin he said it's cause my nails are too short. I will never go back !! After 3 days my nail fell off and I was on a cruise so I couldn't get it fixed. I had to get it fixed on the cruise which was very expensive. I told her I was not happy with my nails she just kept saying," I work long time on your nails". Making me feel bad for her unprofessional work. Don't go there if you want your nails done right. Worst job yet. I asked for an acrylic removal and Julie literally ripped off the acrylic from my nail bed. It hurt so much I cursed and kindly asked her to try another method; like soaking the nail first. I then asked for a manicure and she did a horrible job. My nails were uneven and she didn't fully remove the acrylic. Also, she tipped herself! She said acrylic removal was 10 dollars, and she charged me 20. I took a look at my nails  and they did not look manicured. I asked her what I paid for and she said a acrylic removal and manicure. I showed her my nails and told her that my nails did not look manicured and she was extremely offended and hostile. NEVER AGAIN. DO NOT COME HERE. Save yourself the time and money. Read Less

I used to go here years ago. My new place was closed and I needed a last minute gel manicure. So the guy who sat me down didn't know how to take the gel off and he kept hurting me with the electric grinder! So the next guy took over and was doing ok until he cut me didn't even clean the blood, skipped some steps to the manicure didn't clean the access gel off around the nails and when he was all done didn't even clean the extra lotion off. He didn't ask if I wanted my nails cut then my gel manicure has air bubbles on them and there is nail polish all on the outside of my nails. I am very disappointed wish I went elsewhere. Gel is super expensive for them to not be up to par never will recommend this place. My 8 year old brother would do the same quality job if not better Read Less

The guy who did my nails was very nice. The price was reasonable. But dont go there expecting them to be able to do a design that you want unless it is a flower. If you are just going to get your nails painted then this is the place for you. Other than that I would try elsewhere. Read Less

I would rather go somewhere on the east side of town, and somewhere a little... cleaner. But Trang is the only nail tech in town that I've tried that gets my acrylics perfect!! I get so frustrated going to other salons, paying $40 + tip for a fill with gel, and not even being satisfied with the outcome. However, fills at Nails 4 You are only $26 with gel! And they have turned out perfectly every time! Like I said, the inside of this salon is not clean. They have a fairly limited gel selection, I haven't checked out the polish. Not all the tools they use are clean... well probably not any of them.  I guess it is a sacrifice I'm willing to make! I haven't tried any other techs there and don't care to.  They give off a cold vibe, but Trang is sweet, friendly, funny, and just knows what she's doing. My mom and I were walk-ins to this nail salon.  It reeked of chemical smell which we couldn't tell if it was normal for this place or if something had just been spilled.  I asked the staff if the smell was normal but they just all shrugged their shoulders and pointed to the fans.  We probably should've left right then and there but we had a wedding to attend and were short on time to get our nails done, so we just hung in there.I had a sweet lady work on my nails - not the best job, but not the worst.  My mom had a male do her nails (perhaps the owner?) and unfortunately he was quite rude and short with her.  He also demanded that their tips be in cash. DO NOT GO HERE! I know it's cheap but it is horrible. Seriously, they don't sanitize anything and they are RUDE!!! I got a full set and the woman used left over tips for my new set! And then did not even cover my entire nail with acrylic or nail polish. When I told her I wanted glitter polish on the tips, she painted the whole nail. When I corrected her and asked if she could please just do the tips, she left the one nail completely covered with glitter and just glitter on the tips for the rest of my nails. HORRIBLE place to get your nails done! Don't come here! They accused I didn't pay when I payed I front of the rest of the employees and followed me to my car. I even had to get them redone because they looked so ugly. They don't even sanitize or make sure it's clean for the next person. They use the same equipment for everyone! So gross!!! Read Less

So this is partly my fault for being lazy and wanting to go someplace closer to home. This was more or less an assembly shop for your nails. The interior was ok definitely not relaxing and I felt rushed and pushed out the door. FYI they only take cash. Now for the nitty gritty. Went there to get some Shellac. The method they used to take off my current Shellac I wasn't happy about. I asked them to just soak but he refused and said he had to use the grinder...Fine whatever. So I chose my color and asked that on the last coat they add a sparkly coat I liked. You would have thought I was asking the impossible by the eye roll. Then with disdain he did one of my pinky nails and was like look see its terrible...Im like perfect thanks now do the rest. Oh I forgot I asked that he trim my nails but he didn't file them so they were like sharp razors on the ends. They aren't even. So I had him file them after he was "done". I'm so disappointed with my nails. Went for simple mani and pedi. Could have done a better job myself. All nails have dust in polish which left bubbles. I had to say something even though it was definite my nails didn't look good. It took a little over an hour and I had to be somewhere after. They said they could redo them tonight. Frankly I didn't feel like spending any more time in the salon. I'll just have to call it a loss. I hate throwing money away.  Hopefully this review will save some people a little money. The worst! Bad service, dirty store, "spa pedicure" water tepid. This place is unsanitary, unpleasant, and inefficient. Don't bother. Techs awful and unfriendly. My tech took a wax in the middle of my ped and just disappeared. My feet were soaked in tepid water without soap. I was concerned that place was so unclean that I would contract fungus here. I went to Nails 4 You for the 1st time last Saturday, as I live close by (I've recently moved to Santa Rosa, and am in search of a permanent salon).  In short, the experience was unpleasant.  The nail tech, Lisa, was abrupt and impersonal to the point of being offensive.  She was displeased with my audacity to ask for shellac over acryllic, which is becoming more and more common -- snap to it, Vietnamese shops -- and botched the job.  My nails look horrible.  At the end of the job, I brought to her attention that the shellac was sticky and she put oil on the surface of my nails, as if presto, this was the solution.  My nails remain sticky.  This experience cost me $25 --not expensive, but not cheap.Oh, and if you are not convinced my review is accurate and decide to visit this salon, take cash.  I ended up going to CVS (near by) to purchase unneeded items, in order to draw cash and walked back to the salon.  The entire experience took 1 1/2  hours out of my day.Today is my day off, and I get to return to this unclean hole in the wall and hassle with them to redo the color, as the shine is non-existent and looking grungy.Save yourself the aggravation and choose another salon.  There are so many of them and finding a decent one is worth the effort.  I will share the news when I find a good one. The last time I went there I received the worst manicure I ever have. I asked to have my nails buffed and the guy who was doing the manicure left them dull and barely buffed.  When I asked him if that was as shiny as he was going to make them he said 'yes'.  I went out to my car, took my buffing tool, spent 1 minute buffing one hand and went back in and told him if he would take an extra couple of minutes this is what he could do.  I'll never go back there because he clearly didn't want my business.
