I usually go to Rachel, and her work, attitude and the results are always just fantastic! . She just gave me an awesome haircut last week and I've gotten compliments on it everywhere. I rarely post unless a company truly deserves some recognition. I LOVED this place! I was fortunate to meet with Rachael who is so passionate and skilled. I tried a keratin smoothing treatment for the first time. From the moment I walked into the fabulously styled salon, I received the most professional service! I appreciate that Kimberly always provides consistent quality, both in her skills, and the products she uses.She keeps up on the latest techniques, and makes sure her staff does as well. I am probably the worse girly girl there is and I think that I don't care about appearances until I'm sitting in the salon chair and we're talking about what do you want to do. All of a sudden I'm a pre Madonna who wants all of these colors and styles done to my hair that is probably not possible. When I get my hair done with Kimberly she is completely calm and walks me through what my hair can handle and can't handle (like frozen hair). She has a passion for what she does and it shows when she's talking about and the benefits of using the right product and how to take care of your hair to get the best results. We had two lovely ladies take care of hair and makeup for myself and my the bridesmaids. They let my two photographers and my mom join us while we got ready, and even let us take pictures out front. Let's just say that I am less than knowledgeable about most types of beauty tips and tricks, but I trust Kimberly so I asked her what she thought would be neat for my hair as I was semi-re-branding my coaching business. Her idea was not only spot-on for how I wanted to present my professional and personal image, but she helped me work through the fears I had of changing my hair, and educated me on how I'd need to maintain my new style and color! Appointment scheduled a month ago for my daughter home from school for a few days.  Just got message an hour before appointment that stylist had a family emergency and couldn't make appointment.  I called back to see if they had someone else to cut her hair and the answer is no.  While I am sorry she had a family emergency and that should take priority I feel the salon should have someone to honor the commitment/appointment.  Sorry Dolce Vita won't be returning. The nice thing is, there have been variations in color and cuts and yet they have always been spot on....so I was very comfortable trying a new stylist from the salon when my son's moved out of state. I've been going to Dolce Vita and seeing Kimberly for just over a year. She is the best hairstylist I've ever had. She understands color and knows how best to match hair color with a person's complexion and style. Kimberly is also a master at cutting and styling and initially spent quite a bit of time with me helping me to learn how to get the "salon look" when I'm at home. This is a full-service salon, a really nice feature. The aesthetician there is masterful at waxing eyebrows, which I've only been doing for a year. I really like being able to make one appointment for all my beauty-related needs. I've been going to Amy Carlson at Dolce Vita for a few years now and really love her. She is knowledgeable to the point where she explains what she is doing to your hair when you get it cut which I always find comforting. Amy also is super personable- we end up chatting the whole time which makes time fly and things more pleasurable, a must for a stylist. They offer Bumble and Bumble here which is a great product line and sometimes hard to find and also have cute little jewelry/knick knacks for sale. My only small complaint, which if I could take half a star off I would, is that it is a little hard to get an appointment with her though I guess that means she is sought after. I found Dolce Vita Salon because I was in desperate need of getting my hair back into better condition.  I started seeing Melissa and she has worked with me through the steps of getting my hair back in healthy condition, she also turned me onto Kerastase products which have made a huge difference in the way my hair looks and feels! After spending a lot of time in the salon getting my hair back into shape I have been around a lot of the other stylists and they are all so outgoing and very friendly.  I'm so glad I started going to Dolce Vita, if you're looking for a comfortable place with knowledgable hairstylists, head their way! Great Salon! I Love Melissa!I started out going to Melissa for just blow outs. I already had a hairstylist so I didn't do cut or color with Melissa yet. As soon as I walked into the Salon and fell in love! Great salon with great girls in it. Everyone is always fun, friendly and helpful. Since I have started getting the cut and color done with Melissa as well. She is always so flexible with my crazy schedule. She even was able to get me in on a Saturday, at the last minute when I needed cute hair for the weekend.  Melissa is so good to me.  I explained what I wanted and she gave me something even better. She takes my messy, dry hair and makes it soft, beautiful and adorable every time.  She is seriously awesome :)Thank you, Mel!P.S.
