Marcela is one of the best hairdressers I've ever had. She cut over 10 inches off my hair on my first appointment with her and made my hair look amazing. I also love the front store. Prices are incredible and they have a great selection of different brands and products. The staff is helpful and very welcoming. The downside is their nail service. The manicurist I saw on 2 occasions was difficult to have a conversation with and was not helpful when I asked for her opinion in choosing a polish. I've come to Beauty Connection many times over the last couple years for waxing. The last few times I've been disappointed with the inconsistencies of people, wax types, and prices, but it wasn't terrible. After today, I'm done with this place. I called today before 2pm and asked if they had a same day appointment. They said yes and offered me a 5:15 appointment, which I took. When I arrived, I was about 4 minutes late and apologized and said I had a 5:15 wax. The girl at the front desk looked at my blankly and asked me with who. I said I did not know, they had not told me on the phone. She told me to go upstairs, which I was not familiar with as they used to wax downstairs, and said the waxer "should be" up there. She didn't even bother to check the appointment book. I asked for clarification on where I was going, obviously unsure of where I was going. She just pointed, said the waxer should be up there, and did not so much as walk in that direction to give me some assistance finding where I was going. I went upstairs where a hairstylist was, and I asked her if I needed to go down a hallway ahead for waxing. She was very nice, said the waxer wasn't there but maybe she was on her way, and showed me where to wait. She said she would text the waxer to check. When she didn't get a response, she was very helpful and called the front desk to ask what was going on. She told me that the front desk asked that I go back downstairs, so off I went. When I went back downstairs, this same young girl first tried to fish out if I had made the appointment at the wrong place. She called the other location, who confirmed I didn't have an appointment there, and then asked if I was sure I made an appointment with them. I pulled up their number in my outgoing call log and confirmed it was indeed their number. She then offered me a hardly-half-assed apology and said someone else must have made a mistake. She asked if I wanted to make another appointment another day, which I declined, as I made an appointment today for a reason. She didn't offer to come a next service, contact the other store to see if they had any appointments today, anything, and seemed very blasé to the fact that there was a mistake made let alone that she was providing truly terrible customer service. To top it all off, I sat in my car for about 10 minutes directly outside the store making several phone calls to try and find somewhere with a last minute 5:30 appointment (not easy, hence my frustration), and the same front desk girl was standing in eye shot just texting on her phone the entire time. Very unprofessional on top of her lack of customer service. Thankfully I found somewhere able to take me that evening, who was dismayed at my experience and he fact that I hadn't been offered a discount or anything to make amends for poor service, and offered me a free future service at her place because of it. Dont get my hair cut often because i seem to find just bad people that just make horrible mistakes but ive gone here before and i loved it. Kree is an amazing stylist, did an amazing job with my hair and its so much more healthier now.  The staff is always friendly and the place is always clean. Go see kree she will never disappoint! Love this place! It was my first time here and I loved it. My mom and I came in and asked if we could be taken care of and got in within the next 30 min. We both got gel manicure and pedicure and it turned out great. The ladies were incredibly sweet and took their time doing it, making sure everything looked good.Also, they have some really cute clothes! Highly recommend this place. Read Less

Go see Tanya! She is an amazing waxer, but today we tried something different and did a lash lift, they came out beautiful. She made a 1 hr appointment fly by and always kept asking if I was ok and comfortable. I'll definitely be back for some more lash lifts and waxing in the future! Read Less

We're done with this place. Brought my friend here for some waxing.  Made an appointment a week ahead of time.  25 minutes late and no one had the courtesy to call and let us know.  The waxing  room was a mess and the sheets hadn't been changed in it looked like several clients - EEWWWWSimilar with my mani /  pedicure.  She up sold me to the plastic wrap callus removal pedicure - I still had dry crusty feet when I left.  She was too busy wanted to turn over the chair to do a decent job or let the Polish dry properly between coats, so she just globbed it on real thick.Manicure - up sold to 'gel' nails by owner.  3 days later gel fell off of 1 nail, within a few days another one was off.There was one really good waxing and mani/ped lady, but she left.  Finding a new place.
