I got acrylic full set by Mimi. She did an amazing job. I've tried all over the area and she's topped them all. She even trimmed my cuticles beforehand, which very few have offered to do. Well, my 2 daughters and mother in law were just there.  We literally live around the corner and it's our closest nail salon.  It seems every time we go to Tracey's, they treat my girls different because they are teens.  First of all, they made my youngest daughter wait 20 minutes later than my other daughter, and took clients that came after her.  Then, the older daughter paid the same price but they did not even trim her nails, scrub her feet, or even put lotion on her feet.  I'm so angry.  They totally treat teens different from adults.  It is so unfair to paying customers. This was a decent pedicure, but the ABSOLUTE WORST customer service I've ever experienced. They were so rude, so slow, and completely unapologetic about it. I had an appt that they made me wait 30 min to start my pedicure, then took so long that I needed to leave without polish. They told me to come back at a certain time later to get polish and I did and they wanted me to wait for another woman's entire manicure to finish until they began my polish. I had to be at work so I left paying full (over) price for a pedicure with no polish and terrible service. Would not recommend to anyone. Read Less

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The women were rude and did a sub par job. When filing, they filed my skin along with the nail. They didn't use a bottom coat on my finger nails, and my toe nail is cut so crookedly it looks like the edge of a stop sign. I came here because there was a one $. For 40 bucks I could have gone to a quality spot. I've been doing my nails at home recently, I just wanted to get my cuticles and nails cut professionally. These ladies are total hustlers, and 1 star is too generous! My daughter & I had gel mani/reg pedi appts. recently. During my pedi the technician asked if I wanted a foot massage which I declined, but next thing I was getting a back massage and when the woman finished she patted me on the back & said '15 minutes.' I glanced at my daughter next to me, and she was receiving a unauthorized double foot & back massage. At the end, I was quoted $170 & reluctantly handed over my credit card, when they told me they only accepted cash and they conveniently had an ATM. Before I paid I asked for an itemized bill as it seemed so high; they charged me $5 for callous remover, $5 for scrub, and $5 for buffed toes & $1/minute for all our unsolicited massage. VERY displeased with my experience there. i got a french tip gel manicure and asked the woman doing them to make the white tip smaller because i didn't like them as big as she was making them (i have smaller nails and the big white tips just look plain stupid on my fingers). she said she would fix it, and i reminded her again about 5 minutes later as she had not done so. then she told me it was too late and that she would not fix it. i told her i didn't even like how it looked and she said it was too late again. still had to pay $50 for something i hated, then went next door to Artistic Nails where they immediately removed it FOR FREE because they felt so bad. the lady here was just too lazy to start over because she messed up. never will go there again. These ladies are so nice. Most impressed with how early they open! My gf and I went here to get our nails done...the morning of our wedding, and ah let me tell you how hard it is to find a place on the westside that opens so early.Came here, and they welcomed us with open arms - sat us down, did our manicure and pedicure fast but well, not rushed. I never write bad reviews but this experience was so bad and the price for service was extremely high. We Did not feel welcomed when we arrived. Dirty, run down solon. Unfriendly staff. They asked my boyfriend if he wanted a foot massage with his pedicure but didn't explain that it would cost an additional $30 for the massage. These guys do hard gel nails! If you're from Sweden, like me, this is what you'll want for your long nails! All places do gel nail polish, this one does what I normally get "gel förlängning/förstärkning". Mimi helped me with mine and she was very nice! The staff does speak Vietnamese to each other during your visit, which doesn't bother me, but I've noticed others commenting on it. The nails (hard gel fill) was $45 which is in the upper price range, but really, once I found a place that does hard gel extensions I didn't even ask the price :) The do pedicures too and I'll try that next. I went when they weren't busy and they were able to get me in right away. The manicurists were pleasant, friendly, and happy.  They did a great job on my mani/pedi. They are a few dollars pricier than where I usually go. I am giving it 4 stars because there is not a sign anywhere saying cash only and no one informed me until I tried to pay with my credit card. No problem...they conveniently have an ATM in the salon. So, with the $3 fee the salon ATM charges and my $3 fee the bank charges, it cost me an additional $6. I think it is a big scam to make an additional few dollars for the owner via the salon ATM. My mani/pedi with tip ended up costing me $48. I have gone elsewhere and gotten both with tip for $35-37. Amazing! I started coming to Tracy's maybe in October? Never going anywhere else. I have my 1 girl of course, Hong. I'm reluctant to post her name, she might get too booked up and have no time for me  I'm super OCD when it comes to my nails. (As you've seen in previous posts) Its very hard for me to stick with one place because I feel the work is never consistent. But I stumbled upon a specific manicurist, Hong, on a very desperate night. I needed a gel mani and pedi. I called after hours and they did not hesitate to take me in. Mimi did my toes and they were fantastic. The longest pedi that's ever lasted. Hong did my gel manicure. Never have I had such an impeccable job on my nails. My biggest pet peeve is when they leave some areas that are not painted or when you can see the clear gel strokes on some nails but not others. Anyway, Hongs work is just incredible. I don't have to tell her about any spots she may have missed, she knows exactly what I like without getting any polish on my cuticles. One time I went in there because I had seen someone else and one of my nails chipped. The girls were very attentive and fixed it right away. I found out later it was actually the owner. This definitely scored some points with me because she did not hesitate to take care of me and she was super friendly about it. No frowns, no attitude, and no questions asked like most places. After that day, they quickly made me feel like a regular. They already know me and who I like. I definitely recommend this place! Nancy is amazing. I have been coming to her for 12 years and recently followed her here. She is detailed, responsible, and just lovely. This salon has many great things - clean facilities, great aestheticians and good service. A major drawback is that there are NO current magazines! Big fan of Tracy's nails. By far the cleanest nail salon. Everyone is usually friendly and helpful. I have had to wait on occasion even when making an appointment. They can be a little pushy with offering extra services - longer massage, callus removal, etc., but overall I trust the people who work there and have for the past 3 years. Just a quick tip: the storefront pic that is pictured is NOT what the storefront looks like. I was really confused by this, but don't be alarmed because it's just next door. I love this nail salon. It's conveniently located 1 block from my apt so I can walk, but parking isn't too bad; you can park on Montana or on one of the side streets like Euclid but careful about the parking restrictions! It's very clean, updated, and has a really good selection of OPI and Essie colors. I kept using this one Essie color so many times that I ended up buying it, lol. They take their time and unlike other salons, I feel like everyone does a good, consistent job. The quality of the work is what brings me back over and over. Other nail salons that are cheaper or equally priced don't do as good of a job as Tracy's. Practically everyone here is a regular so that should speak for itself! Read Less

I live in Encino and drive to Santa Monica twice a month just to get my nails done at Tracy's. (There are tons of places within a mile of my house). The staff's very nice, and it's small - only about 6 stations - so it's not loud or crazy. Very soothing environment. Great colors, great brands to choose from. Rarely a long wait.
