I'm generally happy with my nails. The price is comparable with any other nail service in town. Great selection on nail colors plus they can easily do any nail design as long as you provide a image; workstations are kept clean. I personally won't go anywhere else in town but here.

Hmmm, I'm not sure how to rate them. I've been a bunch of times and have always been really happy. Wish they had more color choices with the polish, but I often bring in my own polish. I have a small hearing problem so accents can be hard for me so I often do not understand what is said there. Hasn't been a problem until recently when I sat right next to a woman who admitted to having toenail fungus and asked them if they would please just paint right over the fungus. I was kind of amazed they did not just send her away. I was kind of amazed that this woman would even go to a public place to have her nails done. I have since spoken to an aesthetician who said that people who have nail fungus should provide their own polish, because the polish becomes contaminated. I feel bad because I would like to continue giving them my business but because of the language barrier I feel that I cannot convey my concerns effectively and cannot ask them to explain themselves because I will not be able to understand their response. Feeling sad all the way around. I have no choice but to go elsewhere. I don't want to get toenail fungus.

I have been coming here regularly for pedicures and an occasional manicure. Every operator is consistently attentive, cheerful, and skilled. They do their very best to give you what you'd like. I have tried getting pedicures in other places in Santa Cruz, and paid more for disappointing results. For this reason I happily continue to return to Nails Plus for their professional and consistent work.

Really weird place. They were rude to my 10 year old daughter. Did a terrible job on my daughters friend and her. The pedicure they did on me was terrible. We all took the nail polish out as soon as we got home, it was chipping and it looked ugly. They also charged extra for credit cards which is illegal.

I've been going here for years with my mom and sister. We've mostly gotten pedicures, but have gotten several manicures as well. No matter who you get for your pedi, it will be perfect. They've got a great color selection for all seasons. I've never left unhappy. (Except that one time I was getting into the car and had a mess-up. I went back in and the fixed it for me. THEN, I left happy and stayed that way.)The massage (the most important part) is always excellent. If I have the extra time, I'll get a deluxe pedi but I usually just get the standard. I still get a great massage and also a hot stone massage. Love it! I will be back after my current pedi starts to grow out, wait a few weeks, then march right in with sad, calloused toes.

I've been here twice, I gotta say I'm pretty impressed by their prices and the quality of work. I'm used to $30-$40 for gel manicures, so $25 quality service makes me pretty happy.The first time, I got a gel manicure and a regular pedicure and my friend got the same. I was really happy with the results, but there are only 2 things I can nickpick about. I don't know if my cuticles are just extremely dry, but they don't seem to get rid of all the dead cuticles. Second, I wish they would shape the toes more for the pedicure. The main reason I like getting pedicures is because nail tech's usually shape it in a way that I can't. I've only gotten a pedicure once prior to this though so I only have one reference point. When I came back I removed my gel and got a new polish for gel. I asked the lady how much it would be to remove the color, and she told me my total for everythibg would be $25! I've usually been charged just to remove gel nail polish, so that's a nice perk. Anyways, I'm glad I've found a reliable and affordable place.

There is only one good worker who knows how to wax in there and that's Cindy. The other workers are not so good. Twice before I've been burnt by the wax leaving skin burned, red, and scabby. The lady who did my eyebrows yesterday used her nail to remove the excess wax which was painful and unsanitary. Great 2 days before prom and I have a scabby eye brow. Won't be getting waxed here anymore.

Nails plus is not fancy or frilly - but the service is AMAZING!So I have been coming here for over a year. Everyone is always friendly and does a thorough job. My cuticles build up very fast and when I come in I am never made to feel bad about my hideous nails. Recently I brought in some Essie gel nail polish - we were uncertain it would work. Tony and Tina were taking good care of me. Well the results were it did not work out because you have to use the special Essie gel top coat. Tina said no worries and re-did my entire nails at no extra cost. We are talking a whole extra hour of work. The whole time she was happy to help me and still gave me a nice long massage after. I highly recommend calling in for an appointment if you are looking to do nails and toes at the same time.

Horrible nail salon. Will never give them my business again. Had appointments for pedicures with two other friends (made an appointment for 3 people). They got there a little before me and were seated. I waited for an hour, without being acknowledged at all. I was told that I was next but after watching two other girls get helped before me, I realized I was just lied to. Finally I just walked out because I didn't even want to give them my business. This place sucks and the people here are rude and honestly seem to hate their customers.

I would recommend this salon. Just got a great pedicure for a reasonable price! Called on a Saturday morning and they were able to get me an appt. in less than 10 minutes. The pedicure was done well and included a hot stone leg massage for $21! The technician didn't rush and made sure I liked the color before finishing. A relaxing way to spend my morning. I'll be back!

The salon is pretty tired in decor but don't let that put you off. These guys are quality. I've been here now twice. Both times excellent mani/pedis that lasted 3 weeks! No chipping or fading.

HORRIBLE. DO NOT GO. I went at about 4:30 I just needed a fill and gel polish on my real nails. I didn't leave until 6:30 and I only got out that early because I asked them to hurry up because I had to be at work. My the time they were done my nails were crooked and and just looked chunky. The women said if I came back the next day she'd fix it. But seeing as how these are my real nails them being crooked isn't fixable so I just said forget it. I'm not going to waste more of my time at this terrible place.

I used to be a regular until today. I have been getting waxed here for almost five years. The service used to be excellent, but the past few visits have been substandard at best. The lady that used to wax me no longer does it, or is always busy when I come in. The lady that replaced her is awful at waxing. She rips the strips off too slowly and ends up spending 20 minutes tweezing. My skin is now red, broken, and irritated. I am livid. Never going back. They do not deserve the tips I drop on them.

The menu of services for pedicures provides five delightful and reasonably priced options beginning at $21 for the express pedi. For a few dollars more you can add salt scrub, hot rock massage, callous removal, and / or paraffin wax. Enjoy!

Every time I've gone they've done a great job. Some are different than others in technique so you can find someone with your style easily. Even when I get a new technician every time, it's been consistently nice work. The male tech. is super sweet and does a great job- he even admired his work and clapped with pride last time. I agreed! They were gorgeous. It's nice to see the enthusiasm for what they do, they're a busy place and still stay happy to serve.

The reason I can't put 5 stars is because of the first time I went there. I needed a pink & white fill but for some reason my nail tech refused to do the white (too much work?) and would only fill the pink, leaving my nails so that you could clearly see my natural nails... it looked janky. Every other time I've been very pleased though. Just make sure you communicate your needs clearly.

The woman doing my nails kept messing it up and trying to fix it with a cotton ball soaked in remover. In doing so she got pieces of cotton ball in my nail polish (after putting on the top coat) and then tried to fix that by painting over it with the nail color and in turn messing it up again. Eventually several of my nails turned into huge mushy blobs. Most of their nail polish was very low quality, they had a few colors of O.P.I., the rest were cheap drugstore brands.

Hmmm, I'm not sure how to rate them. I've been a bunch of times and have always been really happy. Wish they had more color choices with the polish, but I often bring in my own polish. I have a small hearing problem so accents can be hard for me so I often do not understand what is said there. I've been going here for years with my mom and sister. We've mostly gotten pedicures, but have gotten several manicures as well. No matter who you get for your pedi, it will be perfect. Went to this salon to get my first mani-pedi. The staff are extremely thorough and they are very detailed with their work. I was so happy with my basic pedi because I got a foot massage, hot stone and scrub. She checked and made sure my feet were perfect. Even though it's pricier than other places, I felt like the service they gave me was beyond the price I paid!

Lovee lovee Lovee this place! So happy to finally find a good slash not overly expensive nail place and I get why it can get busy real fast :) would definitely recommend! I got gel mani and then regular pedi and the gel is not too thick which happens a lot at other places

Every time I've gone they've done a great job. Some are different than others in technique so you can find someone with your style easily. Even when I get a new technician every time, it's been consistently nice work. The male tech. is super sweet and does a great job- he even admired his work and clapped with pride last time. I agreed! They were gorgeous. It's nice to see the enthusiasm for what they do, they're a busy place and still stay happy to serve.

The reason I can't put 5 stars is because of the first time I went there. I needed a pink & white fill but for some reason my nail tech refused to do the white (too much work?) and would only fill the pink, leaving my nails so that you could clearly see my natural nails... it looked janky. Every other time I've been very pleased though. Just make sure you communicate your needs clearly.

The woman doing my nails kept messing it up and trying to fix it with a cotton ball soaked in remover. In doing so she got pieces of cotton ball in my nail polish (after putting on the top coat) and then tried to fix that by painting over it with the nail color and in turn messing it up again. Eventually several of my nails turned into huge mushy blobs. Most of their nail polish was very low quality, they had a few colors of O.P.I., the rest were cheap drugstore brands.
