I bought a groupon for a manicure and pedicure and called two weeks ago to make an appointment. They called me today and told me that they wouldn't see me because Groupon had not paid them. I asked why they didn't tell me this with more notice and they said they had a change in management. They never asked me for my voucher number to verify and didn't seem to care when I told them I didn't understand the problem because I had already paid for the Groupon. They were not helpful and I feel like "new management" isn't a reason to not accept groupons. Now I'm waiting to hear from Groupon and am hoping I can get my money back. Read Less

Horrible place bought two pedicures through Groupon and found this place to be shystie as well as unprofessional. You had to pay extra for the parfan. So I came with groupon in hand for gel manicure and pedicure for me and my mom. It was pretty dead on a Friday, and just felt the service was non-existent. My nails came out okay, except a few days later, the sides were already popping off. Was not happy at all.I went back a week later to see if they would redo the 4 nails, and was told by a customer that this group of nail techs had just started today. The owners of La Bella were no longer there a week after I had come! But, the nail tech was happy to redo them, and I was really pleased. However, it was done really sloppy. Granted, these folks did not have to even touch my nails, but they did so I was grateful. the only reason this place got one star is because i couldnt give it none! me and my sister were having a pedi date and we decided to try somewhere new due to our normal place being closed, we walked in, we didnt get greeted, theres a worker sitting at the front with her nose in her phone, we ask her if they have time for two pedi's and she said yes, "rudly"pick a color and have a seat. we walk over after picking our color and sit down, mind you there are a couple people in there getting pedi's.. *the water was boiling hot*she cut my foot*i was finished before the lady that was sitting next to me & she was getting massaged when i sat down*the owner looks like a perv, just watching over everybody! *i think they need to re-train & try focus on each customers, not just there regulars! im very un-happy with this place! never coming backkkkk! This place is an exquisite place. Their nail & wax technicians are so professional and nice. I have got a brazillian and a leg wax here. They have shown their professionalism and skills. Edit 2: THIS IS THE MOST SKETCHIEST PLACE I EVER SAW. The business owners share your private information to the people who work there and their husbands. See my original review below. I am writing an edit 2 after the very strange turn of events in the past day. I don't have any of these people names, they don't introduce themselves and neither do they disclose their names even after you ask them. Sorry for multiple edits, but nobody should have such a dreadful experience ever.Long story short they do a horrible job on me on Wednesday and I obviously left them a bad review after with 2 pictures. One of which had the person doing pedicure (I removed it now) That evening I got many missed calls from two numbers, whenever I try to calm back they never took my call. At that time I wasn't sure why I was getting calls from SUNOL, CA AND MINNESOTA?? And this morning (next day) I get a long message apparently from the husband of the person who worked on me, on my phone number saying my bad review and the picture caused a 'lot of pain and sadness' to 'his wife' who's PREGNANT. Like what?!! And that he's thinking of SUING me??!!I was first of all shocked to find some guy send me private messages about how I caused trouble to his pregnant wife, and then when I called the Business I'm sure the same women took my call and when I'm asking her 'who am I talking to?' she kept hanging up! She did that 3 times. THE OWNER OF THIS PLACE, PLEASE RESPOND TO THIS REVIEW HERE. What kind of a business are you running? And why are you sharing your clients private information to your employees husbands??----I had a horrible experience on Wednesday at this salon. I went for a full leg wax, gel manicure and a spa pedicure. I walk in a little early and there was this one guy let's call him GUY, who seats me and asks me to wait. While I wait he asked me what I'm getting done and I tell him. He kept talking to this other person let's call her A, as in I speak to him he speaks to her (I think about what I just spoke) in Chinese I think, to A. He then gave me my choices for gel colors and I ask him for design he said it will take longer so I just feel a reluctance from his side and just agree for color. He shows another lady and said she will do my pedicure, let's call her B. He points me to the high chair for pedicure and B starts working on my feet, 2 minutes in GUY tells me that A suggests not getting any scrub done to anything but my feet because I want a full leg wax after. Apparently scrubbing before waxing leads to burn. I'm sure people who get waxing done (or any kind of hair removal) regularly will get the joke that it is, because that's exfoliating. I exfoliate my ass off before I wax. So god knows what they were taking about but the communication was SO hard, I gave up. I just made sure they were gonna scrub my feet at least, uh, what am I here for? Just painted nails? Well they said sure the feet will be scrubbed and B continues whatever she's doing. B is very gentle, like overly gentle where it's not working on my feet anymore just touching them, awkwardly pouring water over them. Obviously at the end of it, no job was done. I kept showing B that there was so much skin on my sole that was not even scrubbed and I saw for a fact she hardly used any scrub. But of course I couldn't communicate with her. And by now GUY left!! Who was the only person helping to communicate. So A steps in, looks at the work B did on my feet and says yea this is great work this is what Spa Pedicure is!! And after exchanging some talk more like hand signs she rudely accepts to work on it more and continues instead of B. She was so rude whole the time excessively sighing and making faces, god knows for what. Then she says ok next waxing, and I'm like uh, my nails are still wet? Can we just do mani? She sighs again and says ok. Like what! Anyway I get a gel mani, Which was ok and then I go in for changing before wax, she banged on the door thrice in a span of 2 minutes while I was getting changed. Finally she came in, did the most unhygienic and undone wax job ever, with wax on my hands and feet. At the end of it she was waiting for me to change back, but would leave the room. I can't even at that point, so weird. She finally left the room I changed went it paid and left the place shocked. I write them a bad review with picture from the business and one picture which had A in it. Next day incident above---They are not experienced professionals, not even beginner level skill. This review is for the Brazilian wax. This is a service that I do not recommend getting at this salon. The esthetician didn't care about providing a hygienic wax experience. She was double-dipping in the wax pot, which is not sanitary.  She also didn't wear gloves, which is troubling. When hair is removed from the root, it is susceptible to infection. Wearing protection on the hands helps minimize that. The technician who performed my wax clearly doesn't specialize in Brazilians. She didn't clean or disinfect the skin beforehand, which caused me to be in more pain than usual. The spa sanitation at La Bella Nail Spa was subpar. I suggest you so somewhere more reputable, like Amazing Face in Sunnyvale to get your waxing done. Read Less

Overall, I had a great experience! I came around 12:30 and was seated right away. Told them I had a Groupon but apparently you could only get certain shapes nothing fancy like coffin, almond or stiletto. Length does not matter! A little over priced, but that's Silicon Valley for ya. I easily booked an appointment over the phone. Gel manicure was done in about 40 minutes. I came to this place after getting a coupon in the mail and thought I would give it a shot. I went in with the worst nails I've ever had wanting a manicure. An hour prior I had just ripped off all my old acrylic nails leaving my nails thin, broken, and with remnants of the acrylic nails on my nails. I even broke one nail so bad it bled.  I went in and was helped by Amy. She was very delicate with my sensitive nails and fixed them right off. She even glued my two broken nails back together which was nice because I assumed they would have to cut them crazy short. I got a gel manicure for $35 with no extra charge for my damaged nails pre-manicure. I used my $5 off coupon I got in the mail and paid $30. THEY DONT ACCEPT CARD TIPS! Don't tell me the wait is 10 minutes when it is really 25+, if I knew I was going to have to wait that long, I would not have stayed. My time is valuable and I don't appreciate people wasting it, just like I don't waste others time. A lot of the girls at work come to this place. This location is closeish to my house and I do not have any good nail places close. After taking the recommendation, I looked upon Yelp to see what kind of reviews they had, excellent! So I made a reservation for my and my girlfriend we both came here. I got a gel french mani, and she got a gel mani and regular pedi. I was very happy with my french mani! It was beautifully done, and it didn't chip or lift whatsoever in the 2 weeks I kept it. My girlfriend's was the same, her's lasted a very long time. I must also comment on the staff- they are so amazing. Everyone is really nice and thoughtful. There have been a few times where I was in the area and I just popped in and they sat me right down and seemed so happy to see me. I really liked that. It's nice to be nice :) I will definitely be back here; this is my nail place! The prices are great too. I seriously couldn't believe it; they are at least $5-$10 cheaper than anywhere else I have been to. I highly recommend this place! Read Less

I enjoyed the interaction with the friendly employees and the good quality of work there. I tried gel nail and loved how it looked even after a week. This is my favorite place for manicure and pedicure. I also love their wax! They use hard wax for sensitive areas (i.e. Bikini wax!) and very low temperature wax doesn't leave you all raw and feel all burnt in the end. Facial is next on my list to try. Absolutely love this place!Read Less

The worst nail salon I have ever had the (dis)pleasure of going to. Came here for a gel full set, which the ladies assured me is "real" gel. What I received was ridiculous. The instant the nail tech pulled out the little bottle of acrylic powder, I knew I was being duped. Anyone who gets her nails done regularly knows a TRUE gel manicure would NEVER use any sort of powder. The so-called "gel" manicure I received was acrylic powder with a gel topcoat, completely different from a real gel mani. To top it off, most of my nails had mini bubbles underneath the topcoat. Definitely 5++++ stars! I really love this place. Great Service, friendly (not stuck-up staff) love their manicures and pedicure. The salon is very very clean and you don't have to worry about a thing. The ambiance of this place is very relaxing. A little pricy but hey in return you get great service, excellent manicures and pedicure, nothing beat peace of mind. Come your 2nd time and they will remember your next the next time you come in.
