If I could give zero stars I would. Terrible gel manicure — you could see my nails through the polish; it looked grown out within 2 days; and the polish started popping off within 4 days. This was the worst place I ever visited to get my manicure. First of all, staff was very rude and when I asked to correct my nail which was done very unprofessional (with nail polish on the skin), lady showed her attitude and turned face without saying anything to me. She also hurt my cuticle till the blood came up. The quality of manicure was extremely poor and on 2nd (!) day my first nail was scratched, so literally i paid 40$ for 2 days unprofessional manicure. Complete waste of money and I can't understand how this place is still working. I wish Westfield Valley Fair can get another salon instead of this one soon. Read Less

We happened to be shopping and needed our nails done. We walked by this place and figured, why not?! So we came in and were pleasantly surprised. They took us right away and were very friendly. Tina did an AMAZING job on my nails, gave me options, her recommendation and was so easy to talk to the whole time. It was also a one stop shop. I was able to get my nails, bikini wax and facial waxing. I didn't go in for the face wax so I did get a little up-sold but I don't mind. If you say no, they don't push it. Ana did my pedi and waxing and she was very thorough. Overall, I am very happy with this place! It's ideal if you are already going to the mall but I imagine it will be annoying to go to the mall if I don't need to shop but I don't think it will stop me. I'm very happy with my visit here. I am SHOCKED at the low reviews here. I had the best experience here. I actually have a usual place that I go to but I was at the mall and needed my nails done so I stopped by. This is going to be my new usual place. Kathy did my nails perfectly. She's So sweet. The massage was so amazing that I paid extra for 10 more minutes for it. I didn't want it to end! She paid lots of attention to detail on my nails and constantly made sure I was comfortable. The place is extremely clean and has a very luxurious and soothing atmosphere. They have the largest selection of (regular polish) colors I have ever seen. The gel selection is good too. 5 stars! Read Less

Tl;dr: You might be surprised, it's not as bad as the reviews say.I didn't see all the reviews until we were already halfway through our pedicures. I looked Angel Nails up on Yelp because I was pleasantly surprised by how good the service was given the location in the mall.We had a great experience! They were all so nice and treated us so warmly. We walked in and requested 3 pedis and 1 mani, we did not have appointments. They seated us right away and got us started. On a whim, I decided to get a mani-pedi while I was strolling through the mall.  Like every other yelper unsatisfied with their nails from this salon... I should have checked the reviews. 100% accurate. Techs are overly pushy to upsell you, I took the bait.  I wanted to pamper myself a bit after a mentally exhausting day, but the entire experience felt rushed and hardly relaxing.  The prices seem fair, but the actual finished product leaves me scratching my head and wondering... "Did I really pay to have work like this done?" Bubbly top coat, bumpy polish, dusty nail stations I noticed during my manicure... Short story shorter, I was duped. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! It has the rating it has for a reason. I sure wish I'd read these reviews before going here. I just got out of there and man what a bad experience. I took my six year old as a back to school treat. Gel Mani/pedi for mom and kids manicure/toe nail color change for her. Tina, attended me and she was pleasant and did an okay job on my toes. Someone else did my nails which turned out ok (6/10). The layers were very thin and definitely needed a third coat because the red looks see through. The lady didn't even ask if I was happy with my nails or if I wanted another coat. No attention to detail. After I asked I was ignored. I let it go. But hen I saw my daughters nails and omg! What a mess! It looked like she cut her nails with a weed whacker and gloves on some nail polish. When the lady at the reception desk showed me the price they were charging me for her, I said that it looked like they just changed the color on her nails because she certainly did not get a manicure. The lady argued with me and said and motioned, "she got a manicure. The lady pushed her nail bed back, cut, filed, water" I said that there must be some mistake. I asked them to look at her nails and tell me what they thought. Everyone just stared at me stonefaced. Refused to look at my daughters nails. No response. I though I was being punked. I've never had this type of awful customer service before. Ever. Refusing to look at her nails?really? I immediately regretted having initially taken out my credit card to pay. I went to this place for a haircut, awful. They didn't cut my hair how I wanted, even when I asked three times that I wanted my hair shorter the guy only told me that he didn't want to do that because my hair won't look well. If I could give it zero stars I would. Not only was the service bad (kept giggling and speaking in viet) but the nails are shit. I have had acrylics on for just over 24 hours and one nail already broke. They also were very pushy for a tip which they didn't deserve. Don't even waste your time here. Negative star if I could. Asked for eyebrow and then they did lips without really telling to get the extra $5. Asked to use no wax because I am allergic to it and they used it at the end so I now have a huge red mark that itches on my face. Wow this place sucks but I'm not surprised it's still open because it's just very convenient being inside a mall so it's hard to say no . Anyway, I came in for a pedicure and manicure with gel . The lady I got was pretty old and when I had a request for something or wanted her to correct something she did wrong I really couldn't understand her response (whether or not she understood me) and I don't like repeating myself in fear of coming off rude . Pedicure: not sure how clean the foot spa machine was but it really bothered me when she cleaned one of her implements in the water WHILE MY FEET WERE STILL INSIDE . Gross . I got the standard pedicure and it was pretty short and meh, nothing special . And the type of polish I wanted required a coat of color and glitter and it looked like she just applied the glitter without the color so it looked really patchy in a lot of spots and I wasn't impressed with how she cut my toenails either -- they were all different lengths . Manicure: same polish I requested for my feet, and she did the same thing, just added the glitter coat and not the color and inconsistent nail cuts . The UV light was so gross and dirty inside and outside I was scared of putting my hands in it but I couldn't really turn back . Another thing was the lady who manages the place was sitting at the table next to mine doing calculations for I guess were the earnings of her employees and it just seemed really unprofessional to me doing it in front of all your customers -- like do it after you close ! I was just really unhappy with my nails because there were spots on both my fingernails and toenails That were completely bare . I had to go over them with my own glitter polish to fill in all the blanks at home . (It only lasted a week and a half, by the way) . Definitely not worth the money I paid . The only reason why I gave this place 2 instead of 1 star is because when the manager lady rung me up she told me to go to the atm and take out cash to pay with and she'll knock off $4 from my charge . The funny thing was she like ran out of the place and had me follow her to show me where the atm was . I realized at that moment I literally could have just ran away without paying because of how bad my experience was but I knew karma would get me back if I did that so I went back and gave her the money . Zero star if I would give. Biggest mistake for not checking yelp review then come in to this place . The Tech literally peel off my acrylics without soaking. I made sure To ask about the price before came in to the store . The lady said 30 buck for gel. I was like, ok, not expensive . I might can give it a try. The lady who helped me was rude, unfriendly and unprofessional.  She charged 5 dollar more to bloody rip off my acrylics; then she want to add like 10 dollar more to clean cuticles . Then later , she said if you want to do gel nail , you need to pay 10 dollar more ..... paying 35 bucks only can get you regular nail polish and you need to wait forever to dry ..... after I firmly said no to the additional cost and reconfirmed with her about the original price the counter lady told me, the tech who did my nail rolled her eyes on me, and gave me bad attitude. They spoke Vietnamese, I am not sure if they are talking bad about me bc I turn down the additional service ...... So many bad things about this place. I will come back to give you more detail . I left the place with chipped nail polish . And i paid 40 bucks for it. I am sure they won't retouch their beautiful work based on the yelp review. Came here on Wednesday to wax my brows. I really needed my brows to be waxed since I have a trip coming up and wanted to clean them up. They told me to go in a dark room, turned on the lamp. The thought of it being so dark already worried me. "Can she even see where she's applying the wax??"... She applied baby powder, wax, stripped it and wiped my brows with a cooling gel. The process was a breeze, didn't hurt at all. She gave me a mirror when I got up to take a look at my brows and since it was dark, I said they were okay and moved on with my life. I noticed she didn't pluck any hairs she missed, which a lot of places I've been to usually do, she didn't trim them or anything. Went to Sephora after  to touch up my brows, and jeez. It looked like she didn't even wax them at all!! The wax must've not grabbed onto my hairs because of all the powder she applied, and I ended up having to go somewhere else to get them waxed which is money wasted! I am so mad! Read Less

She tried to convince me to spend another $28 dollar to put bath salt on my feet. It's just ridiculous. Other employees consistently came and asked if I wanted a hair cut or wax or gel nail or spa treatments. I was actually surprised that they could even come up with so many things. Worst experience ever!!! Do not go there unless you want to be treated by someone who does not even know how to told your hand properly. She didn't file my nails properly , nor removed the skin . Did not clean her tools before putting them back into her box and used themOn other customers. After she was done it looked like a 10 year old did my nails!!! They did a terrible. Job painting my nails, uneven application of sticky gross nail Polish. Some spots of my nail are still visible through the Polish. Angel nails: throw away old bottles of nail Polish, get a bottle of Simply Peel, and apply glitter Polish with a triangle sponge!Read Less

TERRIBLE! Please don't come here out of convenience. I seriously don't understand how this business stays alive in Valley Fair. I was wedding dress shopping with my best friend and was in great spirits! We had plans to get our nails done, but had to go to the mall first. Since we were already at the mall we decided to go here. Worst idea ever. I got a shellac manicure and pedicure. My pedicure was fine, I mean I don't think you can mess that up. The tools didn't look the most hygienic though. Anyways, my pedicure is almost done and they haven't started on my manicure. Finally the owner comes over and wraps my nails to get the polish off. Few minutes later, another lady comes over and starts taking them off. As this is happening I almost see a fight break loose with the workers! They're yelling at each other in Vietnamese. The owner has to regulate closing one girl off in a back room. Talk about unprofessional..... Anyway the lady who's taking my shellac nail polish off stops to talk with a customer who just walked in. Said customer wants acrylic nails so she leaves me to do her nails. I'm assuming since it's a more expensive service? K. I again get handed off to another lady, the one who almost got into a fight! She's angry. So angry she's scraping the shit out of my nails. Whenever she got polish on my finger she would dig her nail into the side of mine to get it off. She was so angry she was shaking with fury the entire time. She again starts yelling at this other lady in Vietnamese as I just sit there awkwardly...
