Was beyond disappointed with the service and experience and this unprofessional spa. Facial was a 5/10 no extractions were done, not relaxing what so ever, to much noise, it felt very rushed. I was given a gift card during the holidays, as I was paying the gift card came up as 0 balance and the receptionist who helped me was extremely unprofessional with her tone and the way she spoke to me, I am the client and customer I should not be getting questioned or given attitude. I asked to speak to the manager she was not in that day and I did not receive a call until 2 days later. Over all the way the situation was dealt with was extremely poor and unprofessional. I am so happy that I stumbled upon this place! I received a chemical peel and microdermabrasion. I had recently moved, switched jobs, and closed a long run of a play. All of these events in my life made my skin suffer. I knew that I needed to do something to save my skin-and fast! The staff was so friendly and they really listened to my skin concerns. Beautiful clean environment, friendly hospitality, and great high-quality work on my full lash extensions! I bought the Groupon deal for a half-set of lashes, which was very affordable (~$40 I think), but they were barely noticeable. So I ended up coming back within two days to fill it in and make it a full set, which jacked up the total price to around $85 (for the Groupon then the fill appointment). This was still cheaper than buying a full set at their retail price of $165, which I think is incredibly expensive! But, four weeks after these appointments and my lashes still look decent! They use high-quality adhesive here and the process was completely painless, unlike my previous lash spot. I bought their special mascara and make-up remover at check-out, which are both supposed to be complementary to their lash extensions. These, too, were quite pricey ($130 total). Long story short: very pricey place for very high-quality product. Will be coming back. Read Less

I went to get a demi-set of eye-lashes for the first time. Jenn was super nice and made me feel very comfortable. Also the front desk person was very friendly and polite. I never felt anything when Jenn put the lashes on. Her hands are steady and gentle. I'm still getting used to the look and I'm not sure if this would be a long-term solution for me, but if you already get eye-lashes, I highly recommend coming here and asking for Jenn. Read Less

I'm 9 months pregnant and decided to get Novalash extensions for when I was in the hospital so I could look ready without the effort. I had heard so many great things about Novalash technician Montse from Colleen Elizabeth Salon so I purchased a Groupon and decided to give it a try. First of all Montse was so book I was lucky to get an appointment, which actually made me feel better knowing she was so popular and in demand. The process took about two hours, and being 9 months pregnant was not easy.  Montse made me feel as comfortable as possible giving me breaks to change positions, surrounding me with pillows, elevating my neck, she was extremely attentive and considerate of my condition. I told her the look I was going for, natural but as if I had mascara on and looked put together, and sure enough Montse had done exactly what I wanted. I absolutely love them and am so happy I got them done with her, I may even maintain them! Was so disappointed by my facial and overall experience. I went in to get acne extractions and a facial and had ZERO extractions done after I asked multiple times, was lectured by esthetician, and given products that made my face break out! Beware: they have a VERY strict 24 hr cancellation policy. I sprained my arm so I was not able to drive (or do much of anything) and called 14 hrs in advance and they STILL charged me. Of course it was my fault for not realizing they had this policy, but I've never heard of one so serious for an eyebrow wax. I really enjoyed my experience here. Bought a groupon for lash extensions and had a great time with Denise. I was about 5 minutes late due to weather and they were extremely accommodating and friendly. Filled out a new client form and was quickly ushered into the room.The room was nicely decorated with a comfy bed, relaxing music, and fragrant smells.Denise was very friendly and made me feel very relaxed. We got to chatting and time went by very fast, she even said I could nap if I wanted to since I was so relaxed! Lashes came out great from her.I would recommend this to anyone who is thinking about stopping by. They do much more than lashes (facials, body scrubs, hair). One thing to note is their location! They have a small driveway and their building does not look like a typical beauty salon. It is a brown business looking building NOT located in the five points center. Worse Brazilian ever! You will not get a clean finish here. The girl who waxed me did a horrible job at getting all the hairs and told me to tweeze the rest when I got home. I've gotten Brazilians before a different salons and I have never been told to tweeze the rest when I got home. It is their jobs to get all the hairs and they failed. I would rate this salon and spa a solid 4.5 on the 1-5 scale!For starters, the building was very easy to find, parking is close, free and plentiful, the rooms were very clean and organized, and the service was quick and friendly. I do not get spa serviced all too often and in fact I am very protective of my hair and unfamiliar about titles of processes and what they entail. You could say I'm a little low on the sylin' scale.I heard about this spa from a friend saying she'd had an awesome experience with a partial highlight and deep condition, so I decided to give it a whirl. The appointment booking process was quick and easy (however they do book quite fast so definitely book a week or so ahead of time), and they got me right in at time of appointment arrival. Montse was my stylist and she recommended a baylayage rather than partial highlights, saying it would look more natural and fade into my regular bright blonde hair during the summer time. I'm glad I trusted her and thankful she was my stylist because she kept me talking and laughing the whole time, really creating a significant experience for me. She even offered/made me a delicious complementary coffee!Everything about the experience was perfect, the only reason I would not give this salon/spa my top of the chart five rating is due to the chemical products they use being pretty harmful for your body and the high listed pricing. It's not something many can afford even with the awesome 2017 Axxess deal, student discount, membership options, and other special deals you can find on their website. I've been going to this Spa for 6 months and totally love the services and the people there.Colleen is amazing with her skin care experience and guided me toward using the right products for my face and my skin has been looking and feeling great. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I came in to get eyelash extensions because they had a great deal and most of the reviews were positive. To begin, Denise did not sit down with me and discuss what kind of style or length I wanted for my lashes, which would normally occur at an appointment, especially if it is someone's first time. Denise waited until she had already applied some lashes to tell me that most clients like natural so that was what she was doing, I had no choice in what style. Denise kept sighing and gave me the feeling that it was a "pain" to be doing my lashes, which was very unprofessional. When she was finished she gave me no explanation of what to do with my lashes or how to take care of them besides "do not get them wet for 24-48 hours".. Great thanks. After she had finished, I had noticed that there were many spaces and a lot of lashes were glued together, giving my lashes a look I did not want. I gave the salon a call and the receptionist was very difficult and unfriendly to work with, after finally begging to come back in to get my lashes fixed, I got an appointment for 15 minutes that was basically right after I called so I had to rush there, cutting into my time I had for Denise to fix my lashes. While waiting to see Denise, the receptionist was very unfriendly and I could hear them talking about me in the back.. Unprofessional. Denise did barely anything in the small time span. I just recently got these lashes removed because they were HORRIBLE. The wonderful lady who took them out told me they were extremely poorly done and it had never taken her so long to get lashes out in the YEARS she's been doing lashes. I know these reviews are very positive and nice, however, any lash expert would be able to verify that Denise's ability is very poor and the cost is NOT WORTH the loss of your lashes!! Read Less

Best eyelashes ever! So happy I got them done! I was always worried about getting eyelash extensions because they seemed like a lot of work, but now I can wake up everyday and not have to worry about mascara or anything. I can't wait to get in there to try more of their services.Just a warning make sure to call a few days in advance (at least) because they are always busy and it's super hard to get an appointment.They have a private parking lot right in front of their place so it's easy to find a parking spot. Also make sure that you confirm your appointment before or if you don't get back with them they might give it away! I highly recommend their service packages, it is by far the best deal in town depending on what you do. The basic package (silver) is $88 a month and you buy one hour to do what you want with it and can break it up into multiple sessions. JUST BE SURE TO USE AL YOUR HOURS EACH MONTH AS IT DOES NOT ROLL OVER!!!!The levels are based upon the esthetician's experience, the highest tier is with Collen herself! This is by far the best deal to get lash extensions just be sure to go to Anna as her application is far superior than anyone else at the silver level. I also recommend getting facials and waxing. The team is really great where they will wax your brows while your facial is being absorbed and they still manage to fit in a massage! You definitely get the best deal here for multiple services! I love this place  since I found this place I do NOT go anywhere else. I've gone to Colleen for eye brow and lip wax and skin consults. She is amazing really know her stuff. She has a very high standard of how things should be done. You need to book her ASAP. And then rebook at the same appointment. She is a hot commodity, so to try to see her last minute is somewhat impossible. I've also seen Victoria and she is great too. When I can't see Colleen, she's next in line to deal with my non compliant eyebrows. The space is small, making it more personal. I like it. It's very clean and always smells good. Hidden gem! Colleen Elizabeth Salon and Spa is a very relaxed place with soft music and they offer you water or tea before your appointment. The front desk ladies are very helpful, respectful, and friendly. I got my eyebrows and Brazilian wax done here by Anna. I have thick eyebrows so it's not an easy task to make them look good. Anna did a great job cleaning it up and giving it shape. It was also my first Brazillian wax and Anna walked me through it during the process. Two Words: Slightly Unhygienic I received a Brazilian wax from here. It was not my first Brazilian wax.The technician asked me if I needed to use the restroom. I said, yes. On the way to the restroom  I noticed an employer eating on top of the waxing bed. That is unhygienic and dang... I kinda felt sad for her when I saw that. Anyway, the restroom was fairly clean. I actually did a double check because I was still thinking about the lady slurping up her spaghetti dinner. I went into a different waxing room and the technician gave me some hygienic items. Music was turned on, but the curtains were wiiiiide open. I wonder if anyone could look in because I was spread eagle the other direction. We kept chatting the whole time which was nice because it distracted me from the slight pain. Afterward, she informed me of aftercare and gave me a 30% discount coupon. I'm not sure if I would come back because of the spaghetti lady..... Maybe I'll get my brows waxed. Read Less
