This place is such a rip off! I came in for a gel pedicure, asked for literally change of color, cuticle treatment and to have a broken nail fixed. They said it would be $20 for the pedicure and extra $10 for gel. After multiple complaints, and having the lady fix my nail twice they told I owe twice as much as I was initially told. The lady seemed sooooo annoyed with me not wanting everything else even though it was "included". I explained that I didn't mind paying the whole amount, I just didn't need the extra stuff (massage, callus remover, etc.) Besides it being sloppy, and unsanitary (had to request for her to use clean tools), they get you with hidden fees during check out. I was charged an extra $10 for my broken nail, $8 for polish removal, and $10 for cuticle treatment (which I assumed was included in a pedicure?). When I tried to remind her that she had told me otherwise she started screaming to someone else in her language and then turned right around and pretended she didn't understand what I was saying. To avoid any chaos, I ended up paying and walking out. This was seriously the most disappointing experience I've ever had here. This is a fabulous salon. I got a gel pedi from Christine. She was really sweet and friendly and did an excellent job. I got the deluxe spa pedi and it was worth every penny. The salon is very professional and clean-they use liners in their spa tubs. I will definitely be back! Read Less

I went in for the first time last week as a walk in for a gel manicure. The place was nice and clean and the lady was nice. The manicure looked good. One day later the tips of my nail started chipping off. I called and they were super nice about it told me to come in and they would fix it. However when I came in the lady fixing it seemed really annoyed and kept saying she couldn't see the chips in the nails. They were clearly there. I also expected them to take off the gel and fix the whole nail. She didn't she globed gel on the end of both nails very tacking looking. I went to get my nails done by Kim Nguyen, she was doing French gel pedicure for me. I asked her 3 times to fix the corners because they looked very bad. As I was sitting there 2 people walked in and was unhappy with her job. In the end I didn't say anything anymore because she wouldn't listen to what I was asking her and I had to go home to my kids, when I was checking out I told the guy how unhappy I was and another lady came and saw the corners and she recognized that my nails were not done right. We agreed that I would pay for the diamonds and my pedicure then out of the blue Kim Nguyen comes and pulls my hand and start taking of my diamond  (so sick) I had to call the cops on her. They wouldn't give me the owners information, please if the owner reads this message me. What she did was unacceptable! Read Less

Recently discovered this place because my mom used to be a regular before moving out of state. I've been pleased every time I've come in. Went in after my hair appointment on a Friday. I got a manicure none gel and it lasted 24 hours. It peeled and chipped the next day. A little bit disappointed considering it is slightly more expensive than majority of nail salons. I might go here again got pedicure and gel manicure if I was in need and in the area. Love coming here to see Anthony. For years, he's been great with my mani and pedi. *Tip* Anthony's massage is the best! If Anthony is not available, Julie is my next fave :)The place has brand new spa chairs, as well as manicure tables. They mainly work with OPI. Some gel brands, as well as organic/ hypoallergenic colors. Often times I bring my own nail strengthener/ colors and they never hesitate to use them. This place is clean and comfortable, the staff is super friendly, the ambiance is relaxing, the color selection was ample, and lordy the massage was great. Very friendly. Clean environment. Very pleasant. Prices comparable to other local nails places. I know regular manicures don't last long. But literally I got my nails done at 4:30pm and the next day at 10am they were already chipping and peeling. Not a good sign. My pedicure still looks good. As I was getting my nails done another woman walked in that apparently had just been there and needed some touch ups. I emailed the store for money back and haven't heard back. I needed a gel manicure, so I randomly wandered into this place for the 1st time on Friday, 2/24/17. It's now Wednesday, 3/1/17, and the entire chunk of gel polish has peeled off of my middle finger. I won't be coming back here, because I've never received a gel manicure that LASTS LESS THAN ONE WEEK!!!Every single nail looks like the polish is going to lift off in the next 24 hours. BEWARE!! DO NOT get your eyelashes done here!! I've been coming here to get my pedicures (love the pedicures!) and eyebrows threaded by Ann (love the threading too!) and was convinced to get eyelash extensions. I had to go to the ER a day later because the glue they used and lashes were cheap and nearly caused me blindness. I had to miss work for a week and pay all the ER bills! They offered me 1 free pedicure for the damages??? No thank you! Never again!! This needs to stop happening to more victims. My friend Winter made a review on my bad experience and this salon keeps asking Yelp to put it out? That would defeat the purpose of yelp. Right?! This is my favorite nail spa. I used to live in Santa Ana and I went to this salon all the time. But then I moved to Irvine and thought I could find a good nail spa close by. I tried about five different salons in Irvine and Tustin area however none of them compared to South Coast nail spa.
