The best experience ever!! It's so hard to find a good hair dresser you can trust so I never go get my hair done, but I needed a haircut bad! So I tried Ma Jolie and OMG! The service was amazing! Britney the receptionist was so sweet from beginning to end. And my sweet hair lady I went to was Ensieh! Love her!!! I went in for a haircut and she noticed my color was off and she offered to do a color correction that same day! I really appreciated her taking time out of her busy day especially at the end of the day to do that for me. I LOVE MY HAIR!! I highly recommend Ensieh! I tried Ma Jolie Salon & Spa today for the first time.  My stylist was Ensieh Fatemi.  The salon is  beautiful.  Clean, nice decor, and they do nails and spa treatments, as well (which I will try next).  I did a search on Yelp for a salon with good reviews, and I chose my stylist who also had good reviews.  Ensieh was AMAZING!  My hair is conditioned, colored, highlighted and trimmed and it looks and feels fantastic.  Split ends, g o n e!  If you want someone who listens to what you ask for, and then does it, Ensieh is your stylist.  She will also recommend treatments that will work with your hair. I have read blog after blog on salons in the Danville/Blackhawk area.  I relocated to the Bay Area about a year ago and have given 4 salons a try.  The results were disappointing.  I read the reviews for Ma Jolie Salon and saw reviews for Ensieh (spoken as NC ..as the receptionist stated)I made an appointment and was again quite apprehensive. NC greeted me with warmth and I immediately felt comfortable explaining my concerns and previous issues with color and cuts for my extremely thick hair.  She spent time asking questions as well as offering  suggestions to remediate the situation I was dealing with. After yet another unacceptably coloring from my current stylist I was on the verge of tears. I started searching google to find a stylist who specializes in color correction. I happened upon Ma Jolie Salon basically because they were open at 9 a.m. The receptionist was extremely helpful & understanding of my current predicament & I booked a consultation for that morning. During the consultation Ensieh was very knowledgeable & assured me my hair would be stunning. I was very impressed with her analysis of my hair & her ability to consult with another colleague to get the exact results I was looking for. I was even more thrilled to know my consult immediately turned into an appointment. Ensieh took a lot of time explaining the procedures & used her amazing people skills to quell my anxiety until I was completely relaxed & trusting of a new stylist working my on my hair.  Ensieh took her time to apply the color throughout as she too wanted my hair to be perfect. The experience and results were fantastic, and everyone there made it fun, friendly, and informative. Ensieh Fatemi, who has many years of Salon experience under her belt and is a recent addition to Ma Jolie, was more than happy to answer any hair-care related questions I asked, as well as taking the vague ideas I had for my hair and applying the haircut and style that would best complement my appearance. I followed my favorite stylish Ensieh to this salon. What a place! It is beautiful. So clean and the décor is fantastic. As soon as I arrived the Owner came over to introduce herself. She was lovely. I received excellent service by Ensieh on top of all of this. Can't wait to go back and try some of their other services. Also, below is my original review for Ensieh. All still true today: Talk about an ideal experience. After several horrible experiences with my long time stylist I felt I had to make a change. I am big in reviews and customer opinions and was very happy to read the feedback for this Salon. I booked a consult and they were able to see me the next morning. I was partnered with Ensieh and she was wonderful. She was warm and friendly right away. I told her that I had been wanting to go from my washed out blonde to a richer color and have just been unsure. I have also been using fusion extensions and needed them redone. After speaking to Ensieh, she encouraged me a richer color would bring out my features, and wanted me to consider giving tape ins a try. My hair is fine and she advised it would be gentler for my hair. Even though my consultation was scheduled for 15 minutes, she never once worried about time and discussed tape ins, color matches and how we would proceed. She even got second opinions and advise from her colleagues, something I really liked. Within a few days I was back in her chair, nervous for so many changes and something new. She took her time as she wanted everything to be perfect. It was going to be a long appointment and she made sure I was comfortable, offered me snacks and drinks and things to read. She was very attentive. Once it was all said and done my hair turned out AMAZING. The color was perfect! It matched the extensions perfectly right down to the highlights! I could not believe it. The tape in extensions were so soft and shiny and felt so great. It was all beyond my expectations. I have never once left a salon with tears of joy until that day. Best massage therapist EVER = SHILA. I had tightened shoulders to the point that I couldn't feel much in my right arm. Shila's amazing fingers worked on my upper back knots over a couple of weeks and got me going again. Monica Deacon  she is a great hair stylist and she is beautiful but heartless and flake. Horrible to the customers asking when to make appointments. This hair salon is nice but you can't call them. They don't answer your calls. I had an appointment with Monica for my hair color and haircut. I clearly texted her that I wanted to get hair color and cut but she only put me down for the haircut. I hate texts and messages because of miscommunication. I called and no answer either.    My son broke his clavicle shoulder from the Bible camp in Pennsylvania I have to fly to get him home. I called Monica  left a message as well as sent texts several times saying" I apologize for canceling the appointment the day before"with attachment picture for my son broke and shorter. Monica seemed read all my messages from Facebook and her phone but she never reply my messages. I gave for 3 weeks before leaving this review. I always tip her  good and it was not the lie that my son broke his shoulder and I have to go him. she has no heart she never wanted to contact me back for rearranging my appointments  that I want to reschedule. If she is totally booked she should response customers texts promptly. It only takes a seconds.  This salon that the beautician to make their own appointments it sucks. Read Less

Mackenzie Huerta is absolutely amazing! I found Kenzie at her previous salon after having had the worst three hair experiences (yes, three!) and in desperate need of some serious hair help. My hair was probably 4-5 color's, with some insanely bright red roots; I don't have red hair for the record. I wasn't even sure that my hair could be fixed, but Kenzie was confident she could safely color-correct my hair, and she was right! Great place! I followed my hairdresser Brooke here and did not expect a truly full service salon at all.There's a massage area, nail ladies, hair ladies and more. This review is long over due! Caitlin is such a talented hair stylist! I followed Caitlin from a salon in Fremont to Ma Jolie in San Ramon. At first, I was hesitant because the drive was much further, but I didn't trust anyone else to dye and cut my hair.  Once I walked in, Caitlin quickly accommodated me. She asked me what I wanted to do with my hair, so I showed her a picture. Funny enough, she had a gut feeling I wanted to dye my hair chocolate brown since I had an ombre for quite some time. She walked me through the dying process as well as showed me how much hair she'd be trimming - great communication! Also, she remembered what products I liked and used it on my hair such as the Moroccan Oil Hair Treatment and Moroccan Oil Intensive Conditioner. (Side note: these products are a lifesaver! My hair feels healthier than ever and grew faster too. So glad Caitlin recommended them to me.)Caitlin ensured I was comfortable from start to finish. I really like the salon, it's clean, comfortable and the staff is very professional and pleasant.  I haven't tried any services other than hair cut & color but I'm inclined to do so.  It's obvious the management really cares about their customers and does their utmost to provide a relaxing experience.  My stylist is Caitlin who started doing my hair when she was at another salon.  She's very good so I followed her to Ma Jolie. Every time she does my hair, it gets better and better. I'm just thrilled with my latest cut and color.  It's the best yet.  There really isn't anything not to like about this place.  It's worth the drive even if you're not in the immediate area. Thanks to the power of Yelp and an odd set of events, I ended up finding this little (actually quite large) salon and am so glad I did. I had owed my DD a haircut for a few weeks and due to an unannounced school canceled for the day due to a power outage managed to find a slot on a Monday to get my girl in for a last minute hair cut. This salon offers many services from nails to waxing to facials to hair. I am sure they do some other things but we went for a specific reason and not only did the daughter get a great cut, she also got her brows waxed and claims it was the best waxing job she has ever had (at 17 she knows a lot).
