It just continues to get worse and worse. I have been going to Bollinger for many years, and finally have hit the breaking point. None of the massage chairs ever work anymore. The drains in the bowls don't work on a number of them. I make an appt EVERY time, and every time they are behind. We had 3:30 appts today. Three of us were put in chairs at 3:45 and one of my daughters was put in a chair and sat until 4:10 before someone came to do her nails. We all sat and waited an extra thirty minutes for her to be done. And to top it off, they start to paint her toes and say "Oh, we are out of the color you want" it was black. How do you run out of black? So she left with no color. The last five times we have been in, 2-3 of us have not gotten the color we have picked for they were "out". We asked for the sea salt with extra massage. It was the absolute worst massages any of us have ever had. We had oil rubbed on us for ten minutes. The pedicure was $28. They charged us $18 to rub sea salt on us and ten minute massage. RIDICULOUS! There is no wi-fi despite endless requests from clients. Just beyond a disappointment after being a loyal long term customer. Will now be looking for a new nail salon.Read Less

Do not recommend! Scheduled an appointment for 3 people at 3:30 and didn't even have us seated in chairs until 4:00 and then on top of all of that they didn't even start one of our pedicures until 4:15 horrible service and 80% of their nail polish colors they are out of. The pricing is ridiculous and they don't even do that nice of a job. I have been here multiple times and at this point I'm just done with this nail salon! Read Less

Disappointed and never again.  I've been to several BNS in the area and always wondered why the polish never lasted past day 3 (regardless whether you were doing a lot of housework or not ) unless you brought in your polish....still wondering why bringing your own polish would make such a difference.I went in for a mani/pedi right before a trip.  On day 3, it was starting to chip, by day 4, I was out looking for nail polish remover.... Not to mention, my big toe still hurts from a close trim.As other reviewers have noted, you are constantly offered additional services that result in up charges...so consider the cost before agreeing to it. I normally go to Danville Nail and Spa (near McDonalds) but they haven't updated their color selection so I've gotten bored with choosing colors. I decided to try Bollinger Nail Salon because it's the next closest nail salon to me. The environment seemed pleasant because it looked new. I've gotten my nails done their a couple of times and each time I've been pretty satisfied, employees are nice, sometimes they get the shape I want. But the last two times I've been here, I told one woman to make sure my nail is thick because my nails brake easily (acrylic) and she said, "Oh yeah I definitely will. I can see your nails are brittle." I liked how they turned out in the end, but literally two days later one of my nail breaks and 2 days after that another nail breaks. I'm not that rough with my hands, I just use them a lot and I workout. So I go back to the nail salon hoping they could fix it, Jenny (an employee there) puts this liquid on my thumb and it started to sting...A LOT. But I started to notice that it was forming into a thick solid on my nail. Then Jenny starts to file it as if was acrylic. I was pretty amazed. Keep in mind that I was at this nail salon just last week and I needed a fill. I decided to try a different nail salon and when the employee was shaving off my nail colors, he tells me I have MOLD growing in my nail. I was shocked and looked at my thumb. He was right. There was that gross green looking color on my thumb. I was so embarrassed because the nail artist was looking, and my boyfriend too. I keep my nails looking good and I had no clue as to why I had mold growing. Luckily, he was able to get rid of all of it and made my decision to never go back to Bollinger Nail Salon ever again. DUE TO THE LACK OF CLEANLINESS - I WILL, I REPEAT, I WILL NEVE GO BACK TO THIS PLACE!!!!!!!   I'm taking time to write this review regarding my experience in your salon this morning.   I was hopeful that I had found my new "forever" salon.  Having just moved to the area in January and I have had a terrible time finding a nail salon that I like.   So I was sitting there getting my pedicure, there was a gentleman getting a pedicure in the chair next to me.   He got up and left - leaving his cotton toe wraps on the footrest and his empty coffee cup on the arm of the chair.   It stayed like that for quite some time.    Then I noticed that a tech picked up the cotton wraps and started running the water leaving the coffee cup on the arm.   I thought at first they were just cleaning the basin, however, before I knew it there was a woman sitting there with her feet in the basin.   So I said to the girls doing my pedi and nails (Nancy was doing my nails) not sure what the girls name that was doing my pedi was - "I'm really troubled right now that that basin has not been cleaned before that woman sat there with her feet in that water without it being cleaned. They tried to convince me that it had been cleaned, but I knew better - as I was sitting right there.  They went and got the girl that had done the gentleman's pedi previously and she drained the water - moved the woman's feet, scrubbed the basin and put her feet back in the filling basin.   The girls that were working on me acted like they were thankful that I had pointed that out etc....My pedi was completed and then I moved to Nancy's chair where she proceeded to work on my my fill and my gel polish.   Now my next concern is that though Nancy did a wonderful job on my nails and I really like the work she did, I've been getting my nails done for years - like over 30 years, I noticed that nothing she used on my nails came from anything sterile - they were in a basket and appeared to have been there for some time and not clean in any way.  Not to mention the containers that she was using to apply the acrylic were so dirty and appeared to not have been cleaned for a very long time.   This to me is a huge concern and I'm guessing the board of health or whomever does the facility inspections would find this not allowable for the lack of cleanliness.   Also, I do have to say that one of my toe nails have already chipped.   I'm very sad to say again, I thought I had found my new forever salon, but clearly that is not the case.  Very disappointed for my $103 gel pedi, acrylic fill and gel polish that this was my experience. I entered the nail salon with better looking toes than I did when I left -- and it was 1 month since my last pedicure with shellac polish. I normally go to the Concord location but I decided to get a pedicure last minute (on a Saturday) and this was the only location that could take me and a friend at short notice -- which I appreciated. The technician was rough with the nail file. She didn't file my toenails nicely so they came out unsymmetrical, didn't clean the paint job, or apply a clear top coat. The technician was unprofessional, as she told me to "hold on" x2 to take a phone call. I was very disappointed considering the amount they charge for pedicure services. Read Less

The lady was nice, facility was clean. Got a full gel set. Downside is $55 only covered the nails. No actual manicure (cuticle trimming, oiling, lotion for example). The tips were glued to my nail and fingertip. The gel nails weren't done very well. Some are slightly crooked and others weren't filled in sufficiently so there's "pot holes" where the tip was glued on and my color chipped before I left the place. This is my first time getting gel so I will look out better next time, but I wished the cost went further. Plus side is my fingertips don't hurt and the Holo color is true.
