My sister went there to have her nails done for homecoming. They told her 45 dollars for what she wanted done. They ignored my sister's refusal of their offer for other various services, and did them anyway. Stopped for a pedicure and manicure with 2 friends. My pedicure was over at least 15 minutes before my friends'. The lady was very rough and dug into my toe even after I said ouch! She used the pumice stone until my foot hurt from being scrubbed so hard. It's still tender 2 days later. Clipped my nails very short and made my cuticles bleed. I've been to many different nail salons in my life, and this was by far the worst treatment I have ever received. Very dissatisfied, but no one there seemed to care or want to listen. 4 of my fingers tips were bleeding because of rough treatment. Wanted short acrylic French tip. Left with sore bleeding finger tips. I can't remember the woman's name that was doing my nails. She said "you said you wanted short!" Just because I want short fake nails doesn't mean you should saw off my finger tips with an Emory board!! I've had plenty of short fake nails from surrounding salons and have never had my finger tips sawed off!! Ouch!! I can barely type this review because of the pain!!! So, about a month ago I took my 10 year daughter on a date for pedicures. Everything was going fine and then my daughter starting panicking and say that the chair was pulling her hair! The chair had a hole in it right where her head rested and her hair was getting wrapped around the rollers from the inside of the chair! I hurried and turned the chair off and a couple of the gals came running over because by this time, my daughter was crying. We were able to get her hair free ...and she was ok...no harm done! They were very apologetic and gave her a gift certificate for her next visit. Today, she used it! Since it was a certificate, and paid for I agreed that she could get acrylic nails. So she was going to get her nails done and new polish on her toes. No pedicure!! I told them this when I made the appointment and when we arrived today. The gal starts doing her nails and when it's time for polish, she asked if we wanted pedicure too? We told her no, just polish! She ROLLED her EYES at me! They need to pay better attention to their customers and spend less time talking to each other! It's rude!! We will not go back and if someone asks me, I will tell them why! Got a quick gel manicure before going to visit my family. Literally the WORST manicure I've ever paid for. So much polish on my cuticles and tips on my fingers but the tips of the nail not fully covered. I didn't have time to ask for her to fix them so I left with it looking like a 4 year old had done my nails. To make it worse this is gel, to remove the polish you must soak and scrape! I had the worst experience at this place. Came In . On Saturday 4/17 and brought my daughter to get acrylics when she told one of the ladies that she wanted acrylics she said that she could only do gels and then my daughter told her to just do the regular manicure. Meanwhile I was getting a pedicure by the guy which by the way turned out not as I wanted, for the first time In Many years and diferent salons I had nail polish around the cuticles after he was done! When my daughter was done which was like 15 Minsk after I asked her that was quick and she said well the lady said she can only do gels and I didn't want that. The guy heard and he said why she said that, we do acrylics and told me to wait and he was going to do them for her. Should have just medians wait for another day to do my nails at Diamonds Nails where I usually get them done but they were busy. $50 that I paid for nails that 3 days later were all chipped broken! I just got a basic manicure, which was only $15. The fact that it was inexpensive is the only reason I am not totally angry. Although quality of the manicure is $5.00 at most. 1) there was no nail soaking, no warm towel. I had to go rinse my hands in the bathroom after she was done with my 30 second hand massage. 2) when nails were done, there was so much nailpolish around nail beds and a ton of hangnails that were just left. I had to tell her to fix it. They still looked like crap afterwards.3) perhaps most importantly - I am highly doubting their hygiene practices. The tools that were used on me were already in the little bin. I guess I assumed that they were sanitized, which I started to doubt after she started using an old stained looking emery board on me. My suspicions were confirmed when after my manicure she simply took the bin with all the tools just used on me to the next lady without doing any cleaning on them! I called her out on it and asked if they don't sanitized and she pointed at the blue liquid stuff, which was left untouched and said that they HAVE sanitizer.  Having and using are very different things! Praying i don't get an infection! They seriously need a health inspection to come through!Pay a couple extra bucks and go someplace better and safer. Read Less

Not happy with the service at all. I made an appointment on a Wednesday for 6 women to get pedicures for a mini baby shower type occasion. They took my name and number and I thought I was good to go. Show up on Saturday, on time and they had let a birthday party of teenagers set down before us once we had already checked in. I was not happy that they didn't honor the appointment that I made. Instead they offered a bottle of wine when I am 9 months pregnant. That does me no good to have wine offered. I will be taking my business elsewhere since they can't honor an appointment that I had. I've been a regular at Happy Nails for many, many years. This is a family-run business...very nice people who greet me by name when I walk in the door. I'm always very happy with my pedicure. I bring my daughters occasionally, too. The ladies (Cindy & Helen) are always great with my kids.My pedi always lasts a long time. My daughter gave me a gift certificate for Mother's Day to the salon. I received the worst manicure I have ever had from the gentleman with an attitude, Tom. I showed him a picture of what I wanted and he handed me a very small selection of Polish to choose from. He then left me for 15 minutes to go work on someone else's nails. I BEGAN FILING MY OWN NAILS! When he came back I showed him the colors I wanted and he told me I could only choose two  and that he couldn't give me what I wanted in the picture. You would think he could have told me that when I showed him the picture. They couldn't even find the two colors that I chose. I chose two more colors and he proceeded to start painting without trimming away the skin or pushing back cuticles. I also told him I wanted my nails filed oval and he left them square. I got an extremely sloppy and overpriced French manicure with the tips not even painted all the way to the edge and the excess polish not even wiped clean. You know, I often like to give people the benefit of the doubt. Maybe someone was having a bad day or a stressful week... But this nail salon provided me with THE worst "manicure" I have ever received.. No. Doubt. I went in for a gel manicure and the woman literally painted my nails like a 3rd grader. On top of the fact that they have a very small selection of gel colors to choose from -- I selected a dark red because it was the darkest color they had. Bad, bad choice, Allison. BAD! She started painting my nails very sloppily: polish was all over the place, all over my cuticles and skin. Yet, at the same time, certain nails were not painted all the way to the edges. What skill!! So, like I said, I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt. However, once she got to the second coat, I could see that this was not going to lead to "happy nails". I said, "excuse me, are you going to clean up my cuticles? This looks extremely sloppy.."  She says, "yes" and proceeded to show me what the "cleaned up nail" looked like. What. A. Joke. At this point now, my patience is gone and I am really internalizing my extreme unhappiness. I told her that it was just not working for me and literally had to tell her it was BAD and to take it all off, in the nicest way I could. So, since it's gel and the first coat has already dried I had to sit there for another 15-20mins while she wrapped them to remove the gel. Once she removed the gel, ALL of my cuticles were dark red and looked bloody from the color left behind. That is how I left the nail salon, with gross bloody looking nails. My sister got a regular mani/pedi and her nails were also sloppy - not as bad as mine, but I wouldn't have been happy with the other woman either. I have never had a worse manicure in my life. First time here! fabulous job. Love that they don't use a drill. Tom & Helen clean up the cuticle and give a mini had massage. Cindy is ok-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Revised:my friends had their nails done by Tom & Helen and both fell off in a week. I had mine done by Cindy they lasted me about 3 weeks before i went for another fill and three weeks after that. I'm going to get a new set.
