I wasted my money getting pedi and mani here. They didn't clean my cuticles, applied base coat not carefully so it was all over my fingertips as well.  I had to ask twice to clean up polish that got on my fingertips and fix the spots they missed. Used to come here regularly and never had any problems. Recently made an appointment on Saturday afternoon for a Sunday afternoon for pedicures. No problem. Arrived and were attended to right away. Had to wait a few minutes for 2 chairs together. As soon as we were seated the spa waters were turned on and I soaked while I waited a few minutes for my pedicurist. Peter did a nice trim job, great foot and leg massage and my pedicure with flower art looked great. Jenny did a great job trimming my daughters toenails and painting them, including a flower with a silver sparkle center that my daughter loved. Large establishment with plenty of chairs to accommodate groups. It can get crowded. So call ahead and/or make an appointment. Read Less

I have been coming here for about 5 years now and I am always so happy with my nails ! This establishment's atmosphere is always so relaxing and wonderful. Each technician is efficient and kind with their work. Vivian  (The manager/owner) is a powerhouse, always busy but not too busy to say hi and thankful that you came! She recognizes my voice over the phone and is always kind and accomodating. I got a full set here recently and my experience was horrible. I didn't catch the name of the lady who did the full set but I spent the entire time being "scolded" by her for how I wanted my nails. Yes, scolded. I have always asked for my nails on the shorter side and it has never been a problem. She rushed through putting tips on and put ones on that were way to big for my nails which resulted in my nails looking awkward and fatter than they are. I mentioned this and she said it was my fault because I asked them to be shorter and that was the only way to do it. I have had my nails done many times before and this has never been an issue. This was my second and last time at Bella Nails. Same thing happened at both visits, no one at the front desk. You walk in and all the manicurists stare at you but do not say anything! Then, the owner, Vivian who seems to be the one running the front desk seems to wait until there are a few customers waiting and then comes to the front. When I asked a manicurist if there was anyone to check in with, she replied, "no," and walked away. I got a $57 shellac pedicure from a nice young girl who seemed inexperienced. The manicurist who was doing my manicure and the pedicure guy next to her kept telling her what to do. I noticed that night that all my foot calluses are still there AND she oiled my legs so much (and did not wipe them off) that the oil soaked into my $80 Sanctuary capri's! I am still trying to get the oil out. My $30 shellac manicure came out nice, though it chipped on one nail a day later. The manicurist was very nice and seemed experienced so I am not sure what went wrong.For the amount of money you pay at this place, I would expect to be greeted at the door (not stared at and ignored) and not have to wait to pay. I (and 2 other customers) could have walked out and no one would have known. The owner does have her 7-8 yo son at the front who periodically will take payments (but this is so unprofessional) and he even ignored me when I came in. THIS IS NOT A WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS. I used to come to Bella Nails with my mom when we wanted a relaxing girl's afternoon. The salon itself is pretty fancy/ornate, with giant massage spa chairs and a relaxing vibe. I don't remember much about my mani/pedis other than how much I enjoyed the massage chair, but my mom still goes there religiously. I was visiting a friend last weekend who just moved near the salon, and suggested we go to celebrate/relax. When we walked in, no one was there to greet us. We stood there awkwardly for a while until someone asked if we had an appointment (we didn't) and what service we wanted (just a manicure). The woman found us seats after a bit of back and forth (I had to repeat myself quite a few times). My manicurist could not have seemed less thrilled. She gave me the most lackluster and rushed manicure I've ever had. Talk about no frills. She cut me once while cleaning up my cuticles, and let the polish run onto my skin on a few fingers without cleaning it up. One of my nails had so much residual polish that I asked her to touch it up. Instead of starting over, she just wiped off the side of the nail, put another coat and then top coat over it, leaving a splotchy mark on the nail. When we went to pay, the owner's daughter was running the cash register and seemed too distracted to help us as she was watching a video on her phone. The entire experience was awkward and rushed, and I don't think I would go back. When I got home, I had to get a q-tip and nail polish remover and clean up all of the polish on my fingertips. So nice to have a local nail place that can fit me and some friends in on such short notice. They do a nice job and are courteous while we gossip. I would have giving them five stars but the issue that arises everytime I go here is I cant find a parking spot for 5 minutes... and its usually on the other side of the lot. Great salon: clean, friendly staffs, reasonable price. Hidden is the word for this salon because you can easily miss it if you're not from the area. Plenty of free parking, abundant would best describe it. Great selection of polish to choose from plus I agree that their work last longer than other places. good atmosphere, cute salon, good and very friendly services, clean equipment, and most of all their pricing isn't bad and their work is really good. a co-worker told me about this place and i recommmend you make an appointment before going. they're usually good at giving you same day appointments. i've done walk-ins several times, during the weekdays might be ok but if you're doing this on the weekend, prepare to wait or you'll have to make an appointment for the next day or so. overall, i would reccommend this place to those who doesnt like to circle the streets for parking and enjoys a nice time getting a manicure or pedicure. if you have to wait it's not so bad because they offer re-freshments plus there's also a jamba juice and several restaurants across the street. The staff members here are so nice and attentive. I totally do not agree with the first review regarding the owner. When I went, which was two nights in a row, she was smiling and was very nice. They are very accomodating as they have quite a large staff and have evening hours which is a big plus. I made an appointment there after my regular nail spa told me they were too fully booked to take me. I was able to schedule an appointment for the same day and they were still able to keep my appointment even though I was 20 minutes late. My manicure came out beautifully but I smudged most of my nails that same night. I called back the next day to make another appointment for a polish change. I was fully intending to pay for the $7 polish change as all my nails were smudged and it was my fault but they still offered to waive the charge. It was so nice of them! Read Less

I dropped by for some Jamba Juice but wanted to see why there were so many women standing in the front of the salon. So I went in for a look and I was swooped away. Don't let the location of this cozy, warm and beautiful nail salon fool you. Hidden behind the Shell gas station off Hillsdale Blvd this is my favorite nail salon.
