Service is great honestly. I got a manicure and a pedicure done today, my pedicure was pretty good very satisfied with the end result but my manicure well that’s a whole different story. Long NEVER disappoints! He is a perfectionist and I love them every single time and I am annoyingly picky with my nails. I left my nail salon of many years which I LOVED to come here as they were closer to my home. I was hesitant and thought I most likely would never be back but I was wrong! I’m disappointed with the manicure I got 5 days ago. While the woman who did my nails was super nice and took her time the gel is already bubbling, cracked and starting to discolor. They won’t last more than another day or two and that’s only if I’m really careful.Read Less

Very clean nail salon. I love that I can have my own box with files and buffers. All the staff are extremely nice. Kyle is amazing at what he does. I can’t even describe how much I LOVED this place. My friend Cassie and I had been going to Downtown Nails and had an experience that sent us on a search for a new place. Glossy Nails was our other option but I’m SO beyond glad that we came here instead. The Beautiful Nails staff was incredibly friendly, easy to understand and hilarious! I had a specific design (galaxy) that I hadn’t been able to have done at Downtown Nails (they wouldn’t even try it). At Beautiful Nails my n...ail tech offered to give it a shot and see if I liked it. You can probably guess; it came out fantastic! My mother in law suggested this place, since most of the shops I've been to in the San Mateo area have gone down hill. And I must say it was an amazing experience. Greeted at the door and assisted immediately. My son was allowed to sit in the pedicure chair next to me and they worked around my mother in law holding my daughter in her arms. I was able to get my feet and hands worked on at the same time to speed up my time inside of the shop. There are multiple pedicure selections which all sound amazing, it was hard to decided which one to get. They also have plenty of shellac colors to choose from, again it was hard to decide which color to get. They serve complementary snacks and drinks and I loved the fact that they offered to my son before even asking me what I would like. It's been a week and my feet still feel amazing. Super expensive, and not worth it. Great decor but the older Asian lady running the place is money hungry and doesn't appreciate she has repeat clients. Rather than give us better service she jacks up the price and gives you crap quality. Save your money and go elsewhere. Great staff but they all drink the Kool-aid.Read Less

Came for the first time two weeks ago. I got a gel mani, pedi, and eyebrow wax. The place is really comfortable, they are a bit on the pricey side. No a problem, if they could offer wine or mimosas..instead of just juice and tea. Overall great service, location, and ambiance. Read Less

Travis and his sister do an awesome job making you feel comfortable and pampered. It is a real spa experience with exquisite decor, great tea or mimosas, so many great aromas, the best neck pillows and massage chairs. I got the Pearl pedicure, thanks to my wonderful sister, and it was the best ever. And the complimentary neck massages while you dry are a nice finishing touch. Had my first experience @ 7 Sisters today and …WoW! Have driven by here for months waiting for it to open (tho questioning the fact that there are 7 other nail salons on this street!!…) and I was not disappointed. I had the 'basic' pedicure to which I added embellishments. I believe Thuy was my technician and she was great, took her time and truly seemed to care about what she was doing. This salon is pricey, more than I would normally want to spend and over-the-top decorated... but I wanted to try it. I was impressed by their friendliness, professionalism, cleanliness and organization of the salon as a whole, and esp the fact that they sterilize their instruments in a sterilization unit, in packets which they open in front of you. As I was waiting for nails to dry, I was pleasantly surprised by the fabulous neck-shoulder-upper back massage I received…was very glad I had the extra time today to relax and enjoy. They are running a special for the month of Sept and told me they are working on something for Oct. I will definitely come back here and recommend giving it a try!!
