I have been getting gel/manicures here for a few years now. I am happy with my fills, however I am MORE than dissatisfied with my pedicures.  I have had discoloration and breakage of my toenails since having pedicures here. I was referred to Emilys by a friend. I walked into Emilys a few days before Christmas and the place was so busy! They couldn't help me because I didn't have an appt but it's ok, I knew my chances were slim. I ended up going somewhere else and got my nails done super fast and the quality showed! I knew this time that I needed to call ahead to make an appt and I'm so happy I did! Got my pink and white fill today and they look so much better than they did before! She also did my nails super square, thank you!!! My nails were peeling and breaking off after less than 2 weeks! I actually appreciate the fact that they make appts and honor them, then you won't feel rushed. They do also take walk-ins but I would recommend calling ahead of time. Very happy with my nails today! I honestly thought this place was going to be great by the reviews but I was wrong. it took 3 people to do my nails, all I asked was for acrylics but they kept switching up on me. The second lady hurt my nail when she was sanding down my nail (distracted) . Then, As I was drying my nails in the end the woman basically told me I could leave once another customer walked in because my nails were "dry", which they weren't and in result I messed one nail as soon as I opened there door to leave. Nails done by Emily herself! It was my first time here and was recommended by a friend. It had, in my opinion, many colors to pick from and I couldn't decide which I wanted most. I have homecoming coming up, so I decided to do acrylic nails and she did a fantastic job. The wait time wasn't much of a wait at all, they gave me time to decide on a nail color and all that. Low selection of gel colors. Rude to me when I had a question, she snapped at me and was demeaning. I was quiet and polite and didn't warrant her response. Also, I had asked for an ombre nail style, and she had said ok... 15 minutes in she tells me to choose a color instead, she said that the picture looks nice but I wouldn't like it on my nail, and that it's hard to take off..So pretty much, she didn't give me what I wanted because it would have been more work for her.They also never try to talk to you, they talk amongst themselves the whole time.The only positive is that my nails are even. Stopped in while waiting for reservation at Mamma Kat's. They took me as a walk in right away. Kim did gel manicure and was very friendly and efficient. I have been coming here for quite some time now. I always schedule an appointment in advance and I am always seen on-time. I don't schedule with a specific person because they all do an amazing job. Great salon option for affordable, simple manicures with stylist who are not going to harass you to add additional services for additional fees. We paid $25 for a gel manicure & $20 for a pedicure. Both stylist did a great job, very detailed and attentive. I like how thing my gel manicure turned out; however, neither could do any designs. I shared a picture from Pinterest and asked if she could do something similar and the only thing she could do was one glittery nail. I was surprised as normally salons have stencils or design options you can select from. My mom encountered the same thing when she asked for a flower on her toe.  Her stylist answered honestly and said she didn't do those often.Definitely a great go to place for simple, pretty nails, but if you want anything additional, maybe try a different salon. UPDATE: I went in a second time for another appointment, this time it was with someone else, and no one even really looked up or cracked a smile. The only thing I think I was asked was what I needed. I said I had an appointment and then no one said anything at all.  After waiting for a while I decided to leave. I really wanted to like this place as it's in a super convenient location for me!  But, that experience paired with the extra charge for basic square nails means my search for a nail salon continues...********So, Emily is awesome and that forth star is definitely for customer service.  I'm trying to focus on the fact that I do love my acrylics she did yesterday... I always make an appointment before going to nail shops and even though Emily was by herself and was working on a girl prior to me coming in, she still took me at my scheduled time.  She wasn't as talkative but she was really nice.  She was gentle with my hands but very thorough. She did exactly as I wanted.  The shape and polish was on point!  Also a plus that you can tip on your card AND she gave me a frequency card so if you come here after 5 visits, you get $5 off :)Thanks Emily! Traveling on business and had to stay over the weekend so thought I'd treat myself with a mani pedi. Found this place on Yelp as I'm staying nearby. Great job by the ladies who did my nails. Polite, friendly and made my nails look great. Haven't had this in a while so they did a great job fixing up my old and  tired hands and feet. They did hands and feet at same time so I was done in an hour. Bonus!Place was pleasant and clean. Easy parking and access to main road.  And pricing is competitive and fair. I'd go back again.
