This is my first time here, I was excited to do my nails manicure and pedicure, first they told me they can do the design that I want, but after he started doing my nails the guy said no I can't do the design. He filled my nail really bad. I decided to do french because they cut my nails really short( I went there with long natural nail ). After the guy couldn't do the French the lady that deems was one of the managers did my nails, she was on rush and my nails doesn't look good.and the French are not even. This was the last time. I went 3weeks ago get a full set no problem at all. So today I went back to only remove 6 nails. I had already removed 4 nails myself so, I went she took off only the 6 nails and was also painless witch aas great. So she was done I asked how much was it they were charging me $10 I asked her why was she charging me $10 for only 6 nails she said "oh is okay just 10" no is not okay I told her I only had 6 nails on she kept saying my nails were too long. My nails were super short so she lied about that I told her no they were super short. They over charged me still $8 wow. I actually liked coming here a lot but after this they lost a loyal customer. They did a good job in my nail shape but I came in for a nail repair and she said my nails weren't done at the salon and rejected me! Um I got a mani/pedi done here and tony did my nails and they said my nails weren't done here ha! Just wrong! Literally my new favorite nail spot. I went on a Monday morning as a walk in and I was attended right away, as soon as I sat down a lady asked me if I wanted something to drink which I thought was so sweet. I got a water and she served it to me in a flute with lemon and ice, it looked so fancy! Now let me tell you about my nails, Green was my nail artist and he did an amazing job. He was so precise and spent time perfecting each one of my nails, and they came out sooo beautiful. Definitely recommend Champagne Nails if you are ever in the San Marcos area! Friendly and sincere manicurists. I happened to be in the area today and came in with my girlfriend to get our nails done, we both are extremely happy with our Tiffany&Co design theme. We both got the pedicure and the manicure (mine was done by Loni) and was so pleased. The result was amazing and precise. They definitely got us in and out the door within an hour, a plus since we were just passing through the area and needed our nails done quickly. My girlfriend's husband even got a pedicure and said he felt as if his feet was a "Virgin" again hahahaha..very smooth and clean. We got this scrub that was green/minty as an add on and all of our feet/legs felted like we just got a nice waxed...baby smooth. Ohhh and the massage that they gave us here for the pedicure is like getting a free foot massage..totally asked if they are licensed massage therapists (that good). Ohhh the free champagne is an added bonus since us three are all over 21! Another thing that I really like about this place is that it is very professional no one gossiping and they all are so focused on perfecting the nails! As I was sitting there, I also noticed that when they tell the clients who came in that the wait is 10 mins, it is really 10 mins..which is nice knowing sooooo many other nails places that I've been to tell me it is 10 mins wait and I always ended up waiting for 30 to an hour. I moved to this state 2 months ago and needed to find a salon that did gel nails where the nail itself is not acrylic. The first one I went to did them, but poorly, so I went to another salon that said they did them but really they meant the POLISH was gel, not the nails. Grrr.After looking at Champagne Nails reviews and pictures of their work I made an appointment. I was greeted by Loni, the manager, and as I sat picking my color I was given a cold beverage in a champagne flute. That was a nice touch.Loni listened to what I wanted then assessed my messed up nails. As she prepped them she fixed all my problem areas so I was left with smooth, well shaped nails. She was very pleasant and chatted while she worked. I ended up being very pleased with how my nails turned out. I don't live in the area but was in San Marcos for work. I needed a fill and called to make an appointment for 515. The phone call was not friendly and very short, but I figured maybe they were just busy. I should have taken that as a sign for how my experience would go. I arrived for my appointment and was told I was "late" and asked if I would wait until 6. I looked at my watch, it was exactly 517 and said I would not wait until 6. She said ok, no problem and sat me in a chair. I then sat there until 545 before anyone came over. While I waited, every other customer was offered a beverage, I was never offered one. So do only SOME customers get the customer service everyone raves about in these reviews? The guy who did my fill was excessively rough and kept nicking me with the drill. I came to Champagne Nails today for the first time with high hopes. I found this place on Yelp and wanted to give it a try due to the overall good reviews. I came in for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. The visit started off great when I saw a clean environment, wide selection of polish colors, and new pedicure spa chairs. I decided to do white on my nails and toe nails. I saw down in a chair and was offered a selection of beverages. This was a really nice perk considering they offered high end drinks such as champagne and mimosas. I chose a mimosa and it was delicious. My pedicure began and I had no issues with this or the girl doing it. The problems started with the woman doing my gel manicure. She started off rough when removing my past gel polish. When she began shaping my nails, I told her I want to keep my length and change my square shape into a skinny coffin. She was very rough and cut the side of my nail bed, which she burned by soaking with alcohol later on. The shape looked nothing like how I wanted and none of the nails matched. They were sloppily shaped and it really showed later on after she finished painting them. While painting, she again rushed her work and didn't let me review the nails before putting my hand in the curer. Probably so I wouldn't see her mistakes and have her clean them up before curing. When she finished painting I was so unhappy with the shape and paint job. I had to ask her FOUR times to fix the shape by making the edges more sharp and clean. The entire time she gave me dirty looks as if I couldn't see. In doing so, she cut me on another nail bed and burned me again with alcohol when cleaning afterwards. In the end I was left with still misshapen nails and polish with TONS of air bubbles in them. This work is sloppy and disappointing for $25. If I return, it will be for the kind customer service from the other employees and maybe a pedicure. They are the perks that earned a one star review for this salon. After her poor clean up job, she asked if I was paying with card or cash and asked if I could tip in cash. I felt that was rude to ask and assume her tip in cash. When checking out, she was already moved on to another customer but ran up to the counter in order to grab my card. She pushed my friend to get to me and rudely said "Where's your card? Where's your card?" At this point I felt exhausted from dealing with her and her poor service. She again gave me dirty looks after receiving the small tip that she had barely earned. Unfortunately I did not get her name. My nails are not consistently shaped and the air bubbles in the painting are unacceptable. This is not the manicure I hoped to be starting the new year with. I got my nails done Wednesday afternoon and it was my first time here and I came here because I saw great reviews from this place. They were very friendly and welcoming. They offered me a drink and I asked for water and it came in a cute champagne flute with ice and a lemon slice. I got a mani pedi with a full acrylic set. The pedicure was amazing, Timmy was doing my pedicure and took his time with everything! Which I loved! Especially with the massage! It didn't feel rushed at all. Everything went smoothly with my pedicure. However, I felt like they should have offered more water instead of asking if I was done with the glass. I felt pressured in a way because she was taking the glass as she was asking me. The nail technician who was doing my acrylics, Nancy, was a really sweet lady. As she was snapping my nails to coffin form, some of the nails looked more straight than coffin shaped. As she was putting the hard powder on my nails, she took a while and kept putting more on to make it "even." I had to tell her to make a few of my nails even because they weren't. As she was painting my nails white, I noticed that my nails were sloping. I wasn't sure why, until I checked after that the coating of the powder was UNEVEN! And the shape of my nails looked more square than they did coffin. Some of the pain near my cuticles weren't clean either on my right hand. AND the nail on my right hand is crooked and angles to the right .The prices were reasonable ($21 for pedicure | $30 for full set). I went in for a pedicure and a fill, my first time ever visiting. I called ahead and they were able to get me in that day. What I loved was that I was in and out without it feeling like they were rushing. Someone did my pedicure at the same time that someone else did my fill. They were extremely sweet, nice ladies. They didn't do what I asked. Whether or not you like how I like my nails shouldn't matter to them. They squared my nails when I asked to keep them rounded. Couldn't do hombre finish. My friend took me, it was my second manicure/pedicure ever, and it was great! Clean place, efficient employees, refreshments (we asked for champagne and got white wine but hey, can't complaint!), massage chairs and a great nail polish color selection.Great pricing! First time here today and I'm very impressed! I went in at about 3pm and they took me immediately for a pedicure, I had no appointment, so I figured I got rather lucky. The ladies were all very sweet to me, and as soon as I sat down, one brought over a little drink menu. I picked the champagne, it tasted amazing! I absolutely love this little perk of this place! Not to mention the place is nicely decorated, and is very clean and inviting. I sat down, the chairs are super comfy and the massage felt just right. I do wish the water in the pedicure tub had been a little warmer, but I'd rather have it cooler than too hot. My pedicurist was nice, attentive, and wasn't too rough on my feet, but did a great job. She really took her time on the massage portion too which was really appreciated! As she was painting my toes, she had asked me if I had wanted flower art on my toes, and I said yes. Although she took her time and it turned out beautiful, I do wish I had known when she offered that it would be an additional charge! However, now that I know this, I would probably get it done again. After she had finished the big toes and the art, I think something happened or her next appointment came in, as then suddenly everything was rather rushed. She very quickly finished painting the rest of my toes, put a top coat on, put my flip flops on, and had me pay. I've visited this place twice so far, and each time they have done a great job! I always appreciate when a salon is honest and let's clients know when they can or cannot take them. I would rather be asked to come back than have to wait 20 minutes. I would still recommend you call prior to coming but they seem to be busy all day long, even with a good amount of ladies working. This was my 1st visit and I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is, like the name, upper class and sophisticated yet inviting, very spa like, with ample chairs and extremely clean. My nail technician, Julie, listened to my desires, took her time and did a marvelous job. I had acrylics with gel overlay. I also had a pedi and Angie gave me one of the best pedicures I've ever had, also taking her time and making me feel important. The entire experience was wonderful. I love this place! Very clean, organized, and the women do a great job of getting my nails right everytime! They also don't make me feel bad for asking for a little longer under the UV light.
