This nail salon is BIG! I went on a Saturday at 2.30pm and all the ladies were busy but I had an appointment so I didn’t have to wait to get seated. The downside is that when I told the lady I was getting the “original”=simplest mani-pedi she looked upset because I didn’t get the more expensive service. Great location, near Pho mai & Target on Landess. 1st time going to this place because it was for my girl's wedding #HappilyEverAspiras first impression walking in was WOW! Place looked high end. Didn't make an appointment place was packed, they had a lot of employees each all busy taking care of customers, but my daughter & I didn't wait long. We both mani & pedis but I can't remember the names of the workers that helped her, Myolie did my pedi & she was great, cleaned the dirty things up reaaaall good & when another worker wasn't quite understanding of a customer's request she would kindly help. For my nails I went with an almond shape full set & Simon took care of me. My nails turned out great even my husband thought they looked nice. Quality is CLEAN! & he did them just like I like them. The shop looks great, didn't take too long, I like that they had a lot of workers to accommodate everyone, & they've got this cool system for points to earn & at the end I was expecting an expensive total but it wasn't pricey at all. I never wrote a review... but after being on Maternity and taking a long break (1 year) I came back to Queenie and the girls. Easy apmt and they squeezed me in... Right away they recognized me and greeted me at the door. I never have to wait when I come in and I get the A LIST QUALITY TREATMENT. I immediately get greeted w Water or Tea my choice and I always end my service with complimentary Ice Cream! Queenie always makes sure to tell the girls to take care of me in case she is busy. I always get what I want - I go for the FULL SERVICE w my wax and stone massage extra nice and long because I do not get to go release often. They really understand what it means to me to get to relax and release because of my stressful work. They are up to date with all the latest nail trends and of all the nail bars in town on yelp - I BET YOU CAN NEVER SPOT ANOTHER NAIL ARTIST THAT IS LIKE QUEENIE! To me no one can compare...I really like how they clean up my nail beds, cut my rough skin and give me special oils on my skin to make my hand silky soft! Worst manicure I've ever had, hands down. I was terribly disappointed as I only treat myself to a gel manicure once in a while. Simply no care went into this manicure at all. Won't be going back. There was sloppy polish dried under my nails that I was digging out for days after. Manicurist (Jenny) cut some of my stuck skin free from the dried polish with scissors part way through applying the gel so I had blunt, straight cut sections on my nails that started to peel the next day because there was an inadequate amount of polish on the edges after she cut it. Stumbled across Queenie's on Yelp while searching for a nice pedicure spot. I went around 6PM on a Monday with a friend without an appointment and we were able to get a spot almost immediately. I was pleasantly surprised by how big and clean this place was! It's really cute and bright inside. They have the massage chairs, but I didn't really use it because it didn't feel that great. I normally always get the most basic pedicures the rare times I do get one, but I wanted to treat myself today. We both got the gold pedi. The ladies that helped my friend and me were both really sweet and nice. You get a 10 minute massage with a hot stone. Amazing! My lady did a great job with the polish. I've had bad experiences at other salons where they will do a messy job with the polish at the end, but I was really happy with it! It's been about a week and it's still looking great! I used to go to Color Nails on Mckee when Queenie was still there. Followed her to her own spot and haven't gone anywhere since! The  space is clean and staff is super accommodating and friendly. It is by appointment only but thats because they get so busy! I called in this morning at 9am hoping to get squeezed in for a full set and pedicure and they were able to book me at 9:30am AND it was Presidents Day so they were packed! Quite thankful they were able to accommodate me. Got my full set applied by Diane. She was super sweet and patient. Made sure that I was okay with shape and helped me choose my color that went well with my skin tone. I was also getting some designs (opal color/design) on four nails (two on each hand) done by Queenie herself.I got the Glam package (45min) for my pedi done by Michelle which includes feet soak with sea salt, cuticle trim, remove callus, deep sea nutrition scrub, paraffin wrap, hot stones, mud masque and massage with regular polish and hot steam towel. She massaged my feet and legs for 10 min. Felt so relaxing. I am on my feet almost all day, everyday. My feet feel and look AMAZING. In total it was about $100 which isnt too bad but the quality and execution of service was beyond great. They do everything from simple french manicures to crazy nail designs. I've been a loyal regular customer for almost 2 years now. And not just me, but my whole entire family. My mom goes here. My sister, cousin, brother's girlfriend and best friends all go here. I even met one of my girlfriends here. And we basically become nail buddies LOL.Every 2 weeks, I make an appointment to get my acrylic nails done by chi Amy and my gel pedicure. This place is BEYOND AMAZING! Not only are the nail technicians super lovely and careful, they are very attentive and skilled. Never have I ever left feeling unsatisfied of my set. If you're looking for a calm, relaxing experience, without all the unnecessary gossiping, Queenie's Nail Space is the right place for you.I highly recommend Amy for your acrylic set and chi Mayo for your pedicure. Seriously, everyone here is amazing! For nail art, chi Queenie is the master. Even if you have to wait 30 mins to an hour, WAIT! Because it will be worth it! Also, I think it's important that the customer interacts with the nail technician. Get to know them; their personal stories are inspiring. You will learn so much about both the nail industry and the people that work in it.Definitely get an appointment as they are extremely busy. Even with an appointment, I once had to wait 30 minutes. I used to get my nails done in San Jose, but the person I trusted the most moved to a different state. I was so sad and didn't think I would ever find a good replacement...until today.First off, nice spacious salon. I came here on a Thursday afternoon and surprisingly it was still packed. My nail lady was named Karen and she did a wonderful job. I'm also grateful that I had Queenie do my designs. I previously accompanied my friend a couple of times to get her nails done here but Queenie was never in. I guess I was lucky to catch her at the right time. She's supposedly known to do the best nail art. I'm definitely in love with mine that's for sure. As for pricing goes, I was shocked. I used to get charged $65-70 for a new acrylic set with designs. But here they charged $55. Makes me sad that I was overcharged at my previous place. Lastly, I love that you can book appointments online on their website. I find this more convenient than having to call in. Also, use their website to know their staff and see who specializes in what. Overall, I'm very content with my first visit. This place is wonderful. I get a pedicure every month and a half because I want my feet to feel pretty and I definitely recommend this place. It's really clean and nice and most of the time, they will squeeze you in if you don't have an appointment. They also have a rewards system that I use but I think its 20 pedicures in order to get a free one. The reason I took off one star is because the last time I went in, I decided to shake things up and get the second option for a pedicure (I think its called the classic for $28). They do a callus removal and sugar scrub and it felt pretty good. I expected the bottom of my heels to be soft but the next day, it went back to being rough. Only one of the best nail salons. Ever. I followed Queenie from Color Nails to now her own store. Mind you I live in the SF Bay Area. I'm one to really like design work on my nails- all 20- paws and claws and I feel Queenie took the time to know me, get my style down, and leave me more then satisfied every time I leave her nail spa. Queenie is the owner/designer and does not do the actual mani, pedi or anything other then nail design and believe me her lines can be long, even... on a Monday or Tuesday AM when everyone's supposed to be at work. Also, what I really like is that their not in a rush to get to the next customer like most nail shops. And, they give you the extra attention that you like when you come to a nail shop and don't make you feel they are just out for your money. Made an appointment in the morning of Tuesday for an afternoon session. I was happy I got an appointment slot. Walked in and I was immediately captured by the openness of the salon. It's very modern and nicely decorated. Love the comfy sofas. I got a gel mani and regular pedi. I was in and out within an hour. It was thee best decision I've made to come here.
