The ONLY reason why I am giving this shop a 2 start is because of the way Ann treats me EVERY time I get my nails done by her.  I've been going to Art Nails for over a year now and only continued because Ann is the only one who does "Silk wrap" on nails.  She became more and more mean and aggressive and I couldn't understand why since I ALWAYS tipped her $5.00.  She would yank my arm, and when I'd ask for a particular shape or color, Ann would TELL me what I want to get or make excuses as to why she couldn't give me what I asked for instead of trying to accommodate me on what I wanted.  I've gone to her shop where I've had to wait sometimes up to 20 minutes and the ONE time that I was maybe 15 minutes late (because I got the times mixed up), Ann snapped at me and began speaking to me like a child (I'm 52 years old) and than began to speak in Vietnamese to the other workers about me.  The ENTIRE time she was doing my nails she was frowning and talking under her breath to the other workers in Vietnamese.  At one point she was using the drill to remove polish and it began to burn my finger and I let out a NICE "ouch."  Ann pulled my arm and snapped at me that I needed to position my arm right and then she began to speak in Vietnamese again to her co-workers.  The ONLY reason why I continued to go to Art nails and have Ann do my nails is because I love the silk wrap and couldn't find anyone who does that any more. BUT I am tired of Ann's abuse and want to publically say that she is rude, abusive and seems a bit racist. (I say that because every time a White customer came into the shop her whole attitude changed and she'd ALWAYS say "HELLO, or GOOD morning" in the cheeriest manner but when I came in, she would barely have eye contact with me and would mumble a "hello."  And I felt she over charged me for everything.  Even if I would break a nail, she'd charge me $4-5.00 and I heard that a lot of other nail shops won't charge LONG TERM customers.  ANN does not have a very good grasp on what it is to treat customers nice. Instead of her becoming nicer to her long term customer, she became worse and treated me like I was one of her kids.  I should have spoke up a LONG time ago and I regret that I didn't.  ALL of the other ladies in this shop were genuinely kind and have great reviews.  I will miss their sweet faces but I can't take the abuse from Ann any more. If you go to Ann, she may be nice the first few times but her true colors will appear so WATCH OUT!  Ann is a MEAN lady and needs customer service and DIVERSITY training Read Less

I have been coming to Art Nails for over 10 years to have China Silk nails and pedicures.  The work is beautifully done. I get compliments on them all the time. I usually get a French manicure on my hands and An does it by freehand. Read Less

My whole family goes to Art Nails - my aunt has been seeing Ann for over 20 years! I get the silk gel manicure every 3 weeks and pedicures every so often. I'm consistently impressed by the work the ladies do-  my nails last so long and I always get compliments on them! I've gotten a facial here as well and it was incredibly relaxing. I have been going to this salon for 20 years plus. It is a neighborhood salon, small, and they do an awesome job on my  nails. I am a meat cutter for Lunardi's and it is a very physical job, but I need nice nails dealing with the public.  I put my nails through a lot at work, but rarely in 20 years has a nail ever broke or fallen off, unless it was completely my fault hitting it too hard on something.
