My feet are relieved. It was a badly needed pedicure. Kind of like when you are starving and pretty much everything tastes amazing. However, this was an excellent low tech pedicure. Meaning there was no crazy spa chair but It was very comfortable. It took all of 30 minutes for her to clean up and buff my feet.I'm feeling light on my feet again. They also offer you tea and cake. I was able to get a same day appointment and the place is nice and quite. They offer nice tea and chocolate cake which is a great touch. My manicurist was very sweet and gentle, but unfortunately my gel polish only lasted 3 days before multiple nails were chipped. It may have been the polish quality or age or something but I was a disappointed nonetheless. I am usually able to get gel manicures to last for 2-3 weeks. I'm so happy they did because the service was just as amazing as the kind courteous staff! From the moment you walk in you feel like your getting a mani/pedi in the comfort of your own home! Rosy Heels is my favorite nail salon! They always make me feel really welcome and feel more natural than a lot of nail salons. It's for many reasons: 1. The warm water buckets where you put your feet are hand-filled and you get to choose what scent you want in them and they put rose petals in the water. 2. They give you a hot neck pillow instead of those plastic chairs that punch you in the back. 3. They pay attention to things like dim lighting, warm colors, and soothing music. 4. Came here for mani-pedi and gel manicure after moving to the SOMA area where there aren't too many nail salons. Was surprised to find this place so close to my house. The ladies are really friendly and care about customer service and quality of their work. I came here to get a set of acrylics done last week, and honestly, it was probably one of the worst acrylics sets I've ever had professionally done! Love this salon! I got a gel manicure for $30, and I was greeted with a hot cup of tea, a slice of chocolate cake, and a hot neck wrap. The ladies there are very kind and have soft personalities. Lots of attention to detail, and I appreciated the quiet atmosphere. I have to say, I've not been to a nail salon that serves tea and cake when you sit down! They already reeled me in just with that ..On to the mani pedi..I opted for a gel mani and deluxe pedi. I like this place. What they lack in amenities they make up for in hospitality. They don't have massage chairs and the foot baths are done in portable tubs but your service comes with cake and tea and the staff is incredibly nice and accommodating. You never get the sense that they're trying to rush you out or upsell you or that they're talking about you. As far as the treatments go, they do a good and thorough job, have a large variety of polishes to choose from, and there are some nice extras like rose petals in the foot soak and hot pads for your shoulders. Love this place. The mani and pedis are amazing, and done so meticulously, and the workers are very friendly (shoutout to Helen), talking and listening to you. There are a wide selection of colors, and while you're having your nails done, they offer delicious tea and a cake as well as some magazines to distract from the wait. My coworker showed me this place, and I have to say, Rosy Heels is great. The staff is always accommodating and friendly. They offer tea and cake upon sitting down and let us bring wine for a girl's mani/pedi get together.I have only gotten pedicures while here, but I know they offer waxing and manicures as well. They have a bunch of nail polish colors and gel colors to choose from. There is easy street parking and Embarcadero BART is a five minute walk. Another thing I like, is they accept walk-ins, but they are honest about wait times. A lot of busy nail salons will say the wait is not that long, but you end up waiting for a long time. Not here! Came here at 5:30 pm on a Thursday evening with my roommates. We had a reservation for 4, but they were quite under staffed especially as there were other customers as well.However despite that, service was pretty good and we were well taken care of through both our manis and pedis. If only they had nail salons like this in NY! I loved everything about Rosy Heels. I came by late on a Tuesday night, thankful they were still open and near to my Airbnb. The experience wowed me from start-to-finish, and I only wish I could come here for all my mani/pedis! First off, the ambiance: It's calm, quiet and relaxing. There are no TV's or radios blasting, just soft music playing in the background and the sound of water trickling down from a little fountain. Next, the mani/pedi: They sat me down on big barcalounger and I got to stay there the entire duration of my stay! No shuffling from pedi station to mani station to drying station - they brought it all to me! For the pedi, they started by soaking my feet in a warm foot bath full of rose petals. While I waited, they brought me a magazine, plus a cup of hot tea and a slice of cheesecake. I was ready to give them 5 stars even before my mani/pedi started. My girl did a fantastic job on me and I absolutely love the color. The mani lasted about 1.5 weeks before chipping (which is much longer than the 5 days I'm used to) and the pedi is still going strong. Oh and to top things off, they let me hop next door to grab cash without leaving any collateral, (even though I offered!). Very trusting! Amazing service! I've been coming here for two years now, after a friend brought me when I told her the nail place I was going before messed up on my acrylic nails so I decided to try out Rosy Heels and it was just amazing! I walked in and was greeted with a warm smile and they sat me down and brought me a slice of amazing red velvet cake with a cup of green tea and a hot lavender pad for my shoulders. I just moved into the area and began the search for a nail salon that cares about cleanliness and takes pride in their work. Well I found all that and more at Rosy Heels. The business name can throw you off thinking they only do pedicures or something but they are a full service salon with available street parking all around ! The really pamper their clients too by placing heated pillows around your neck, serving you tea and cake, the salon itself is very nicely decorated and painted in warm vibrant colors. Every time I move to a new city it takes months and months to find a good nail shop. In this case it took me a year and a half to finally be completely satisfied. I am quite particular about who touches my nails, mostly because if I don't watch closely enough I'll leave wondering if I could have done a better job myself, with less pain. Until Now... I've been to Gini about 4 times and she already has me off the tips, with acrylic overlay on my real nails! She is very careful and only takes off the acrylic with acedone (best to not rip off your nails). She files down the lifted part and when you are done with your fill, it looks like a brand new set!! No white lines on your nail bed at all! I can tell my nails are much stronger than before and over time I may not need the overlay. Even though she's a little more expensive than I would like to spend on my nails, it is well worth it! I don't think I will ever need to go to another nail salon as long as I am in this city!! Having recently moved to San Francisco, I have tried out quite a few nail salons in the past few months. Living in Soma is great, however many times you have to travel out of the neighborhood to get the service you need. Not having found a nail place I was crazy about, I spotted the recently opened, Rosy Heels, as I was walking home from work. I was expecting your run-of-the-mill nail salon, but this place exceeded my expectations and I was pleasantly suprised by their wonderful staff, relaxing surroundings, and upscale service at a very reasonable price. She does THE MOST amazing job because she is such a perfectionist. The decor is very relaxing and you don't get the feeling that you're in a ""nail shop"", but rather a nail spa and you definitely don't have to worry about all those nasty fumes or ""spa pedicure chairs"". These women know nails! First they relax you with a hot neck roll that melts your tension in the neck and shoulders. Then, a gentle foot soak with rose petals. And if you have any nail problems, Jeannie is a lifesaver - she can reshape them to prevent those issues with pointy toed shoes, and she can cure just about any foot problem.
