I've been coming here for a while now and the ladies always take good care of my nails (mani/pedi). Last time I was here Susan did my mani and Nicole did my pedi. Both were great. I really appreciate the attention to detail in making sure all the cuticles are eradicated. The arm and foot massage is always a treat as well. Highly recommend that you call a day or so ahead since they get very, very busy.

Great service! My first manicure in this Salon was a great experience. I've been doing gel manicure in different salons around the city, trying to figure out which one offers a great service and a fair price and this one has become the number one. Will come back again!

One of my toe nails is bleeding. Keep bleeding even they finished the job. They do things fast, but I don't think I will come back again. I booked an appointment at 2:45, they said they didn't know I will do gel on both hands & feet. They asked me only to do feet...since after 4 they will be very busy. It's horrible experience....however, they did not charged me in the end, I planed to give them one star, but I felt like it might be unfair if I don't change my review.

I love this place so much. I got my very first manicure at Castro Nail Salon and I love the staff and the quality of work they do! They are a certified Healthy Nail Salon and always remember to put sunscreen on my hands before putting me under the UV lights. My favorite is Susan -- she's fantastic. Make sure to make an appointment with her and you won't be disappointed!

I got my very first manicure at Castro Nail Salon, and it definitely won't be my last. Although I was a good 20 minutes late for my appointment (sorry!), they welcomed me with sincere smiles and made no mention of my tardiness. My manicurist did a great job. She was very friendly, efficient and obviously proficient at her skill. My nails look great! As a bonus, I had a window seat view of Castro Street (on a busy Saturday afternoon) while getting my manicure.

This is a great nail place. Clean (most important), friendly people, and my pedicure always looks great and lasts for weeks. Also I appreciate the selection of polish color choices!

I just moved to SF and have been looking for a new nail salon, and decided give Castro Nail Salon a try today. I was able to get an appointment right away! I did the classic mani/pedi. The ladies were super friendly and paid close attention to detail. They did my fingernails and toes at the same time, for a full indulgent experience. I sat on a comfortable message chair as they worked on my nails. The best part was, I asked for a flower on my toes, and the nail artist said she would do a simple flower, and then she made a wonderful sparkly Hawaiian flower on both big toes!! I love it!! And the best pet was, it was super affordable to go during the week day - it cost $40, which is very reasonable. I will definitely be back!!

Finally! It takes a minute to find a good salon! My regular manicures here last 8 plus days before starting to chip and I am busy busy with my hands! Pedicures are great too. Great foot rubs. Relaxing cozy spot , great friendly service and it's right on Castro street so a little fun shopping or a couple errands is convenient while your on the block. I've found my spot.

As I like Susan very much for doing a great job, I left yesterday, without leaving a tip for her. In three visits all together I was charged from $32 ( special), $35 the following visit and yesterday it was $40 for basic manicure & pedicure. I don't know if that included tip or not. I left $8 tip for Susan previous visits.If I would leave same amount yesterday the basic manicure & pedicutre would cost me without 2 bucks $50. Little too much in my opinion!

This salon was recommend to me by the gentleman I shared a room with at Davies when I was hospitalized for two weeks when it was discovered I was diabetic. If you are diabetic, taking care of your hands and more importantly your feet is really important and he recommend I see Susan at this salon say, " she really understands the issues associated with diabetes and foot care, she will take good care I of you". He was right!

I've been coming here for a while now and the ladies always take good care of my nails (mani/pedi). Last time I was here Susan did my mani and Nicole did my pedi. Both were great. One of my toe nails is bleeding. Keep bleeding even they finished the job. They do things fast, but I don't think I will come back again.
