I fly out to San Francisco from Germany from time to time. And I always get my hair done here. Because it's simply the best. The Salon is located on the 4th floor, spacious and very well designed. Service is super friendly and professional. I love their knowledge about anything to do with colour and the cuts, which are done on dry hair after the base cut has been finished. This is for the salons nail service. They do hard gel and they do it with attention to detail! I live in Sweden and I’m used to a very high standard of nail service (90-120 mins for nail enhancement treatments) I booked my appointment through text messaging and they had an appointment later the same day. They had an AI (chat bot) to answer BUT was also quick to answer the regular way (I had some additional questions) This was very convenient and a good experience. At $60 for hard gel + gel polish it may be slightly more expensive than other salons (by maybe $10), but I will definitely return here!! April was not only very friendly, she was also very thorough (which a lot of nail techs don’t seem to be in US)! And she’s been working with nails for a long time so you know she knows her stuff (14 years in this salon). If you want a pedicure April does that too. And then of course you have the salon options of haircut, waxing, facial etc to choose from. Since they are located on the 4th floor it’s a calming experience and nothing rushed. Read Less

I did a full balayage with Indelisa and a hair cut it was by far the beat experience I ever had. My hair looks amazing and I would recommend her for anyone especially if you are new to dying your hair. She is patient and she makes sure to explain every step to insure you are happy and aware. I treated a good friend of mine to a haircut for his pending nuptials.  I decided to get a facial after his haircut.Edgar Carubio did his haircut.  Edgar did an amazing job.  Upon meeting us, he asked if we wanted something to drink.  My friend was used to going to the strip mall for the $10.00 haircuts.  So this was quite a change for him to go to a Salon to get his hair cut.  Edgar was very helpful in figuring out which haircut to give that was classic yet easy to replicate on the big day.  He asked questions and showed why some haircuts may not be the best match for my friend.  Edgar is friendly and easy to work with.  The haircut came out very well.  My friend looked amazing.  We were also able to replicate the style on the day of the big event.  Edgar even offered to have his phone closeby if we needed a refresher on how to style his hair the day of the wedding.  He definitely made a new client that day.I received a facial from the lovely Peaches.  Prior to the facial Peaches asked many questions to understand the condition of my skin and current skincare regimen to decide which facial would be the best for me.  I let her know I have very oily skin and how i care for my skin currently.  Peaches gave me one of the best facials ever.  There was light music playing in the background to assist in relaxing me.  Peaches was the consummate professional while performing my facial.  the price was great for the service provided.  Peaches definitely gained another client from me.  I plan to see her on a regular basis.Peaches and Edgar are both assets to Atelier Emmanuel.  It's no wonder Atelier Emmanuel is one of the top salons in San Francisco.  They have staff like Peaches and Edgar who possess the skills that should be emulated by others in the industry, Read Less

Hi Felix- I appreciate you reaching out. I am undoubtedly disappointed in how the situation was handled at your front desk this morning. I understand that mistakes happen, we are all human, although it was the unapologetic insincere and condescending tone in Ashleigh's voice that made me uncomfortable and feel extremely unwelcome. After I requested her to look at the time stamp and do some investigative research on whom I spoke with as booking systems have a call log, I saw the look in her eye when she found it but she fumbled her words not knowing what to say or how to manage the situation. I was frustrated by her lack of honesty and inability to apologize. I held back my tears, but I refuse to hide my voice. I am deeply heartbroken that my loyalty to your salon of over 10 years has come to an end. Claudia was actually my first stylist while at your old location on post street. I have been loyal to her, Anastasia and Josh then happily found my way back to Claudia. It saddens me to think that 1 poorly managed situation can diminish so many amazing experiences. Yes, Claudia did "agree" to take me (Ashleigh's words) but after she had serviced the other client. These words were the icing on the cake. I did not want my frustrations to effect the other client, even though she offered. It was none of her business, so why should it effect her? It was not her fault that the salon overbooked us both. Being in a guest oriented business myself, I will gladly use this story as a training tool on empathy. I will share how important empathy is to continue to provide a comfortable and welcoming experience and drive for repeat business. I will share this story with everybody I know.
