A friend recommended I come here after so many times getting a ge mani from other places and it not lasting. I came with her. She's a regular so they immediately greeted her and were super sweet. They got us in pretty quick. The place is nice and quiet. Super clean and all the ladies are really nice. I got my beautiful gel mani done by Miley (i hope I got her name right). She was a bit quiet toward the beginning but she warmed up quick. I got them done Sunday of last week so it's been a week and a couple days since I've had them and  I am absolutely still n love with them!!!! Usually I get my nails done and they don't even last a week. I'm so happy with them! I can't thank Miley enough for doing such a wonderful job! Also Utopia nails for ... well for existing! I really love this place. They do such great work. I used to go to another nail salon but it went under new ownership and went downhill. I tried Utopia because I literally work right across the street. I go during the week and it's usually not busy and they are able to take me without an appointment. I get my gel manicures from here and I've been happy every time with how they've turned out. Everyone does good work and the prices are very reasonable. Try this place out! Read Less

This salon is so beautifully decorated and clean inside. It was very glamorous but still peaceful. The nail techs were so sweet and did an amazing job. They were surprisingly not busy on a Saturday afternoon which I LOVED. The only thing they could improve on was the price. This has been my go-to nail salon since moving into the area. But there have been two instances now that make me questionable about returning. Once, I went and was sat down next to an older woman without a technician at her station. Halfway through cleaning my nails, I notice the manager go up to her and whisper in her ear. 10 min later, someone starts working on her and she complained that she had been waiting for over 30 min. For someone to service her. By this time my nails were almost done and I felt so bad she wasn't helped before me. Second instance was me in the older woman's shoes! Except the owner came up to me early and asked me to come back later because appointment clients were coming...Now I did not make an appointment for a Wednesday morning. I didn't think it was necessary, but I take responsibility. My issue was that I even got seated, or that the three technicians there couldn't work on me quickly since there was literally no one else in the salon. It just felt rude, especially having watching that other woman's experience the time prior. I still love this salon, but I've learned my lesson on appointment making. I was so excited to try this place because it was in such a convenient location and the décor looks great! My pedicure was great and done by a younger employee. However, my gel manicure was done by an older employee and was the worst manicure I've ever received. She was so rough that she cut me on 7/10 fingers. Her solution - pour acetone on it and hold a cotton swab to it! (Apparently that's okay since the burning sensation doesn't affect her.) One of the cuts was so bad that it took her 4 of these acetone-soaked swabs to somewhat stop the bleeding long enough for her to do my nails (she had to dab it a couple times throughout and it bled again when I went home). I asked her to be more gentle, but she did not speak much English, so she just said "OK. OK." and continued. I was trying not to get upset, so I just closed my eyes for the majority of the session and tried to relax.Closing my eyes was a big mistake. I'd asked for a glitter gel, but I'd noticed she had a hard time getting some of the flecks of glitter to stick. Her solution was apparently to dab on globs of the gel. By the time she was "done", I looked like I had bubble nails and asked for them to be redone. It took her 3 tries to file them down and wrap them in foil to get the gel off, it was that thick. Fortunately, another one of the younger employees stepped in to do damage control, at which point I'd just asked for a nude color so as not to run into the same issue. She was able to fix the gel, but due to all of the filing to move the previous layers, some of my nails were now crooked.I left 2.5 hours later with crooked nails and a decent pedicure, but to top it all off, they charged me full price for everything! Will not be coming back here and would not recommend this place to anyone unless that employee no longer works there. Read Less

Found this little gem thru Yelp, and I must say, super impressed! I have been searching for unique nail care, the kind that just takes Care of you.. The vintage style. Super awesome customer service! I was looking for a new nail salon so I decided to google 5 star nail salons in my area and Utopia came up. I know why too. They provide excellent service. I came for a manicure and pedicure. I love their nail color selection and the fact that they don't skimp on the gel. My gel set last for a month before chipping. I've never had my nails last this long. The polish on my feet are still glossy. I can't come as often as I'd like but I do know where I'm going when I do. Thanks ladies for your friendly conversation and your professionalism. Read Less

I did my gel manicure today I usually try to get the owner or her daughter but they were too busy today and they didn't have space for me, so someone else did  my nails, unfortunately she didn't do a good job, she was a sweet lady and very nice.I am upset about how ugly they look , in the picture I already  fixed them on the top because they were not square my nails were not even :0(Planning to remove the color and do it my self, i have a tropical party to go tomorrow and I am not happy with my nails :0( Read Less

Kalie is so good at what she does and always gets my nails perfect each time I visit! I've been coming here for a little over a year now and I'm always happy when I leave. It's definitely a hidden gem. The nail salon may be a little difficult to miss if it's your first time as it is in a small lot. The ambiance of the nail salon is so relaxing and quiet. The workers are all very nice too. It's definitely my favorite nail salon. I haven't tried any of the other ladies at the salon because I've been so happy with Kalie's work. Nice & neat stations.I needed to get my nails done just in time for Valentine's Day, I went to Yelp to see what's around me and what is highly rated - I came across this nail place. I called @3:40pm to make an appointment (they got me in right away!) I got an appointment at 4pm. I arrived at exactly 4pm. It took about 5 minutes for me to be seated. I was given all the colors in the world to pick from, the greeter/ person that gave me the options of colors to choose from had a very thick accent and spoke very soft! It was hard for me to understand what she said, but I did my best to make out what she said. I chose my colors and was then greeted by the person who did my pedicure and gel manicure. She was not in to conversation, she just did about her job.  She also had a very thick accent. I'm not sure if I liked not talking to my nail lady or didn't like it, I guess it depends on the person being serviced. But for me it was a little bit awkward since I've never had a nail lady never really talk or make conversation. My nail lady and the one to the left kept making conversation and giggling, I didn't like that because it felt as if they may have been talking smack about the customers being serviced (such as myself) Aside from that, she did an AMAZING job! She clean cut my nails and polished them to perfection. For that reason alone, I would come back again. I was there for 2 hours (left at 6:05pm) the price for a regular nail polish pedicure and gel manicure was $51.00 ! It was pricy but I feel like the way my nails came out was worth the price. Cute place, and they do a very detailed job! 1 and 20 min for a standard pedicure. They really get the dead skin and ingrown nails. And they don't rush through the massage or foot scrub. So happy to find a place open Sunday's! Read Less

I really love this place! I came this afternoon because my normal nail salon is closed on Sunday. I was desperate for a gel manicure & pedicure. I couldn't wait until Monday. I came here because I was already in San Dimas & they had great reviews.I walked in & saw how nice this place was! Very nice design inside with a hard to spot location. I got lost twice trying to find it. Not their fault! I walked in & saw a few customers but I had nothing to do so I expected a wait. She asked if I had an appointment I said no. She let me look at some colors and I waited. She called me over with 5 minutes and began to take off the gel. She was a very kind woman, dark hair & glasses (vague I know) she talked about just dyeing her hair. Very pretty lady with great style! She was very gentle. I sat with the gel soaking off while she helped another customer. Soon I moved over to the pedicure side & waited. She took off my nails and another person began my pedicure. They talked to each other most of the time, I added my own commentary here & then. They spoke English very clearly & were very kind. I didn't feel ignored or talked about. Both women were very gentle and sweet. My nails were perfect and I was very relaxed.The girl at the front was name Lin. I think...I'm terrible with names! ): I paid, then remembered I had a coupon. The 10% off first time yelp experience one. She didn't even blink and smiled saying she believed me and let me still use it! I appreciated it so much. It was only $5 but still! A savings is great!
