Connie & Kathy both did an excellent job on me today. It was my first time at this nail spa and they made my experience wonderful. They each took their sweet time on my massage and made sure I was satisfied with my color/overall package. The lady who had helped me did my nails super fast and the results show the effort that was put in. I understand there are people waiting, but I had spent 30 mins waiting myself before getting helped. When she was helping me...she also left me minutes at a time. People who got there after me had already been helped and left and I just had a gel manicure. I was here once before and my experience in comparison to today was like night and day. I really enjoy coming to get my nails done here.  They always do a good job.  They have a jelly pedicure that is relaxing and fun.  Four stars because I miss the old management. The old owner always did my waxing perfectly and the new girl is just okay.  Also, it's a little pricey here.  But you get what you pay for.  They did spend over 1 and a half hours on my feet so no complaints there.  And my gel pedicures seem to last over a month so that is a plus too! First impressions the salon is clean and beautiful. I really wanted to like this salon as the staff was very friendly what went wrong for me is that I got gel and not sure if the lady didn't let them dry enough under the light but all my nails have dents as you can clearly see in the picture. My pedicure was fine until one of the ladies decided to go over board and basically cut half the nail off now it hurts so bad I can't even wear clothes shoes because the pressure on the toe hurts. Chic Nails ,is the place to come if you are in need of some amazing TLC ! The ambience is so relaxing and they always have the most relaxing music! I have been coming here for the the past four years and it's always been great service. Their service has  gotten better through out the years and I Always leave feeling super relaxed after a long day at work. If you need someone to do your eyebrows ,Ana is  the lady for you. She does exactly what you ask for. Amy is my girl ! I'm so thrilled she is back after 1 year of being gone. She is so amazing ! She takes her time and always makes you feel that you are her only priority. Chic nails has the best customer service in any San Dimas nails Spa. The whole staff is friendly and amazingly caring. I've been coming here for years but until the new management hires a consultant, I'll be going somewhere else. The professionalism is non-existent. The new owners were literally on their phones screaming in Vietnamese in between screaming in Vietnamese to each other the entire time. The male nail technician literally waited until my pedicure was done to begin soaking off my acrylics. Such a waste of time, and despite asking them twice to begin soaking my nails, they responded as if I was stupid. Once he began to soak them, he then went outside and smoked in front of the entrance, then flicked his cigarette right where he was standing before coming inside to work on me (with no hand washing prior) Also, it's pretty uncomfortable to have a nail technician use his grown out coke nail to scrape off gel nail polish. A brush and acetone is suffice and a whole lot more sanitary. The job was very sloppy and definitely not worth the money. My pedicure was pretty ok, despite paying the upgrade to receive a hot stone massage (with room temperature stones). I don't think it's supposed to work like that, but after declining a million other upgrades, my "massage" was essentially her digging her nails into the bottom of my heel before I just asked her to stop. Plus side? I got a "free gift for today"...  bottle of lotion as gratitude for my business. Y'all can keep the lotion if you just bring back the old nail technicians. Deal? Read Less

I called before going and asked about the products they used and their ability to speak clear English so they could understand what I wanted. They said they had the product and spoke fluent english. They didn't have or do either. The only person who spoke decent English answered the phone only. They charged me $41.00 for a simple fill. They added on all kinds of extra charges to get to this total, and did not clarify any of the charges. FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! The decor is nice, but that's where it stops. Read Less
