I originally wanted a marble nail. Called in advance to make sure they had a tech who could do it. The marble looked a mess. The tech even said she didn’t like it. She took it off but by then the black base was still on my nail. Was stuck with getting chrome nail. It also looks a mess and sloppy. Very unhappy, spent 4 hours there and paid $75. Posh & Polished is a shiny surprise in Barrio Logan. I went last night with a friend. Never heard of it til the previous day and I am so so glad I did! They do an AMAZING job. Everyone that works there is incredibly sweet. My friend and I are definitely going back! Did I mention the complimentary wine?! And they are generous. Truly a pampering experience. Walked in today for an impromptu pedicure hoping they would accommodate me without an appointment. Not only did they take me, they did an amazing job! Daniel is extremely personable, professional and talented. He gives the BEST foot massage! The nail boutique is clean, comfortable and absolutely adorable. The owner was there and she was so sweet and down to earth. Plenty of parking (FREE). I'm definitely coming back to see Daniel and I highly recommend! Read Less

I liked it. I know it was a soft opening and they still have kinks to work and everyone was a bit overwhelmed. I understand been on the other side of that before. PROS: The lady Olga who did my nails was great. I'm a Chef and of course I have cuts all over my fingers (part of the job) but she did an amazing job of buffing out one of my fingers to make it not so noticeable. The owner was very nice and was also helping out ( which is not most of them do) she did her best to so...cialize with guest and keep them entertained. CONS: So I'm not much of glamour girl. When I go get my nails done It's a time for me to relax and just get spoiled. This day I felt just half of that. I wasn't all dolled up, wearing skin tight clothes, and /or showing every inch my body off. I had a relaxing sun dress on and just simple make up (foundation and eyeliner). The women who were all dolled up were greeted better and taken care of more. And I understand maybe they thought these women had a bit more to offer I get it but you should never judge a book by their cover. I'm a chef and I need keep clean groomed hands. It's always been a problem for me to find a place to get my nails done without being judge on how I look when I walk in.
