I've been a customer of L'Amour for over 2 years and always enjoy the experience. However, today's pedicure was horrible. Not only was my nail polish painted on thick, uneven, and clumpy, the woman cut the cuticle on my big toe so deeply that it wouldn't stop bleeding. She sprayed it with alcohol, and then used a nail paint brush and napkins to try and stop the bleeding.....multiple times. When I asked her if we should just stop, she advised me to just go home and shower. She continued to paint my nails and kept wiping off the blood. I went here with my girlfriend a few minutes ago, deciding to try the $50 pedi package. Ordinarily I'm plenty good with the base package since I don't have to address calluses. I have to say though that given the duration of massage and treatments, the extra expense is worthwhile. The workers there are kind and personable, and the massage chairs are par for the course. I know nail salons are very competitive, and at least for me, it's hard to really compare because I don't go that often. Bottom line though, you'll have a good experience here. Read Less

The best place ever, I love doing my nails at this salon, been coming here for a year since I've moved to San Diego and I'm not gonna change a different place, only if I will move far away. If you want ur nails to be done the proper way ask for Lisa she is one of the best nail tech there. I stopped by at this place as I was desperately looking for an open place past 5pm on a Sunday. I got a gel mani and it was honestly one of the worst I have ever had. The polish started peeling the very NEXT day, and I noticed my nails started breaking from the tips the next day as well, due to the polish not being on as thick near the tips as compared to the rest of the nail. I went in with crutches and they were so caring and didn't rush at ALL super nice to talk to me and my friend called and came in a little after hours and they were so amazing they still took us!!!
