I got a gift certificate so I tried out this new nail place. The customer service and friendliness was wonderful but I would describe the job that she did as merely adequate. Love love love love this place!It's very close to my work and went here during my lunch. At first I was waiting there for about 15 mins past my appointment but the male there offered me a water bottle and a snack. I was getting somewhat worried that I would not make it on time and almost left BUT! Then Tiffany who I requested came over and apologized and said she would get me out on time. I was kinda skeptical and thought she was going to do a bad quick job....Let me tell you she is FAST!!!!!!!She was fast but did my nails just the way I wanted them. She is very talkative but hilarious! She has 10+ years of experience and I could not believe her age because she looks so young!! Overall these are my nails 3 weeks in. I have been on the hunt for a good nail salon since I got to San Diego about a year ago, (I am extremely picky) but I haven’t had any luck UNTIL today. I absolutely love this place. They offered us water and a snack free of charge, the prices were great, my nails turned out amazing, and all of the girls were so nice aka they didn’t talk about in another language, they actually spoke to you the whole time! I even got a discount because I had to wait a little longer than my friend did. Just moved to Kearny Mesa and I found my new nail salon. This place is ALL ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I can't say enough how much this is appreciated!! I walked in and immediately was greeted by Tammy with a smile. She asked what I wanted and let her know I wanted a regular pedi, gel mani. They then proceeded to sit me, brought water, a snack, gel colors for me to pick, turn on the massage chair for me and had John do my feet and Tony my hands simultaneously. They were fast, efficient, have great color selections but best of all: THE MASSAGE!! Yes people, usually nail salons have mediocre massages that leave you wanting for more. Not here!! They both gave me amazing massages both on my legs/feet as well and arms and hands. This was our first time coming to this nail salon , they usually close at 7 and we got there 15 minutes before they closed. They took me and two of my other friends in and they were super sweet , they did not rush although they were already closed , they did a great job . Tiffany and Ivy did my medi & pedi. They did a wonderful job and left my nails and toes gorgeous. The guys Tony and Johnny did amazing with my friends nails ! We were super happy with our service ! They also gave us water and snacks which I thought was super sweet and also offered us coffee or tea! I had one of the best nail experiences I've had in a while at Hello Bella. My nail tech Tiffany was fantastic and friendly. She made my time there easy. I picked a cat eye gel color that I couldn't be happier with and got tons of compliments. Ivy did my pedicure and she was also great. Her leg massage was amazing and my white nail polish has yet to chip and it normally does first day when I go anywhere else. I typically get a gel manicure every 2-3 weeks and this was my first time coming to this nail salon. I was greeted immediately. Everyone in here is so nice. They also give you a bottled water and little snack! The nail technician shaped my nails perfectly and was very gentle, which I love. I hate to say this because I loved the staff, but I was just not satisfied at all with my gel manicure. I'm not a nail technician so I'm not one to say, but I've had gel done many times where I'm familiar with the process. Normally gel manicures have that shiny, thick, layered look. I came here because this is my mom's new goto nail place. Acrylics here are super cheap, $35. I decided to get an ombre nude to white coffin shape nail. In the beginning Tiffany was being thorough, towards the middle, not so much. She was filing too fast on my sides and nipped me a couple of times. Her excuse? "Sorry i dont mean to hurt you, i dont mean it". She was even shaving down the acrylic to make it thinner which is fine, but then she shaved off too much where the color came off, she stopped and applied more powder to it and then re shaved it off again! When she realized she did it twice, she gave up and then proceeded with my nails. That is just pure laziness. My nails are not even and some nails are too slanted because she filed way too fast and aggressively. She kept saying that her client whom made an appointment did not show at 6PM. Well my appointment was at 5:30Pm so why would she even try to squeeze someone else in when acrylics take 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 mins? You can tell your nail lady is lazy when they dont clean up your cuticles, she left all my hangnails on.She even made a comment, "Next time i will do better". My mom caught it and asked her, "Do what better? What is wrong with what you are doing now?" Tiffanys response, "Oh your daughter wanted a different color that i dont have but next time i will have it". That was a BS answer. I could not wait to leave her chair. I would never come back here. I was desperate for a last minute manicure before a long weekend of camping at Coachella and luckily Hello Bella was able to squeeze me and a friend in half an hour before closing. I appreciated that they didn't rush us even though we kept them half an hour after closing and took their time with the manicures.Everyone was super friendly and interactive.  As soon as I sat down they brought me water and a snack.  Tony actually introduced himself and chatted with me the whole time. Later on Tiffany came by to chat as well.I decided on a gel mani because I cracked one of my nails close to the nail bed and I didn't want it to break off while I was roughing it in the desert. After I told Tony to be gentle with that nail, he offered to repair it with glue for free. Its been a week since post-mani and my nails survived!  I would definitely come back to this salon.  It's pretty cheap compared to other places, they have a large selection of colors, and a welcoming vibe. I love this salon! The people here are so friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. I got the gel french manicure and pedicure, and the women doing my nails did an amazing job! Ivy did my pedicure and honestly, I don't know if I can ever go back to doing my own pedicures again lol! She made sure the color was opaque, clean, and really paid attention to detail! The woman doing my manicure was AWESOME! She worked with my short nails (ugh I shouldn't have cut them the day prior!) and gave me a beautiful gel french manicure that will last me at least another two weeks. I have no idea how I just discovered this nail salon.. I have worked in the Kearny Mesa area for over 10 years too. I came in for a gel manicure and pedicure and Tony did an amazing job with my pedi.  My favorite part was the foot massage...he really knows how to work his hands!  Tiffany did a perfect job on my gel manicure.  Both of my pinky finger nails broke before coming in, but she managed to make my nails look fab regardless.  It has taken me a really long time to find a nail salon that I am happy with.  Thank you Tony and Tiff!  I'll be coming back. :) Read Less
